Doing a little car browsing, thinking about getting a new one soon (maybe).

Is it just me, or are current/future sedans appearing much more hatchback-like in the back than before? For example:

That's maybe a more extreme example, but I even looked up potential 2020 model cars and such, and many don't seem to slim down much in the back.

I think it's just because they kind of just curve to the rear and never have a point of inflection (all convex, nothing concave). Not sure if I like the look much, but I don't think I can expect it changing any time soon so maybe I just go with where we're headed instead of looking in the past.

Yeah, unfortunately, passenger car styling has been on a steady decline (IMO, obviously) for the past few years. I blame the obsession with SUV's/CUV's for the death of proper sedans and coupes. I think Honda might be going for the semi-CUV-look with this latest Civic, or "hot hatch" type of styling, but you rarely see a lot of true sedans or coupes these days in a reasonable budget range.

Which is too bad, because apparently the new Civic is a heck of a beast on wheels - especially if you spring for the type R. That's gotta just be tons of fun at the track.

Personally, I just can't stand how that back-end looks - whether you consider it a hatch or a fastback or whatever - it's enough to put me off the car, even though by all accounts it's really good under the hood (where it counts).

For those who use Firefox, anyone having issues with it ever since the big update they had a few weeks back?

I find some things load so much slower than they ever have before. And a number of webpages never seem to open for me anymore. Don't know if this is just because of the firefox update or some bigger issue.

I wonder if it could be my anti-virus as well, but I disabled it and nothing has changed, so I have no idea why certain sites just don't open anymore. It's not like an entire site won't work, but some links within a site might not work while others work just fine.

Mine isn't with OS or anything, the pages that don't usually load are other sites(though after looking it up, seems like others had same issue and there's a youtube video on some temporary workarounds).

But firefox in general takes awhile to start up. Once it loads, it's fine, but that initial startup takes awhile.

Firefox has been installing a plugins/service without user consent, worth a shot to disable it and see.

I do. Family owned bakery that is on the main strip from my house to the interstates. I may or may not frequent that bakery often.

There’s one about 20-30 mins away. Donuts are REAL good but they have weird hours where they’re open Tuesday-Saturday from like 5am to 10 or 11am.
