speaking of waffle house the guy that owns them son was in the same fraternity as my step brother. My dad meet him a few times and said he was one of the most unlikeable people he has ever meet and showed up to some big fancy thing wearing his little waffle house hat. His name was Joe Rogers Jr the guy who had the sex scandal recently. His son also got drunk and punched my step bro and hurt him bad. I tried to get them to sue and get a lot of $, but they wouldn't lol

Pretty sure every time I've been to a waffle house it was after a "club" visit.

Sometimes I like breakfast for lunch and occasionally dinner (brinner FTW).


Other things I like - Various cereals for lunch/dinner, Taco Bell, Papa Johns, <s>long</s> short walks on the beach, trashy reality TV... I could go on...

Waffle House needs to invest more in hygiene. Every single one I've ever seen/been to looks like it needed to be steam-cleaned from top to bottom 20 years ago....

Unfortunately nobody around us has decent breakfast food - much less at 9PM.

One of the things that my area sorely lacks is a really good breakfast restaurant. We have one good local place that's a bit of a drive but it's always packed. Next is the Cracker Barrel which I actually really like their breakfast but it's next to an outlet mall so it's always packed as well.

Being drunk at Waffle House is a waste of a good drunk (for lack of better word). But it is a great place to sober up.

Back in my younger days we would always go after the club closed but that's what everyone did so "club beef" became "Waffle House beef". Also, seating was always a mess with their limited seating and that would cause a lot of fights as well. Nowadays, I'm old and try to steer clear of any potential conflict as much as I can.. heck I don't even like going to the Waffle House in the morning time just because it's so busy (mainly old people and kids since the closest Waffle House to me is next to a Water Park) so the occasional lunch or dinner trip works for me.
