There’s some show on tv or at least used to be and it followed cops in Alaska. I know they staged one thing for tv.

They had a guy shooting a gun at a moose from the car on the highway. That part was real. The part that was fake is they couldn’t find out who was doing it so they had my roommate go out in his truck and use him as the one who was doing it.

I'm like 90% sure that Survivor is staged. Just like almost every other reality show.

Shows like Survivor I wouldn't say are staged, but I do agree that most reality shows are in some way or another. Like the ones on E or MTV especially. Many times it's probably just acted out scenes "based on a true story" or something like that, or as I call it, "scripted reality".

I have a personal ban on reality tv. I blame them on the demise of the amount of sitcoms
on network tv because they dont have to pay writers or actors.

No he was friends with the cops. IIRC they never showed the guy. The cameras just showed the truck and the audio of the cops talking to him.
