I spent 3 years running around the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean and I have no desire to go on a cruise. It’s probably different going for pleasure versus work but it just seems boring.

I understand since you spent the time for work how that would impact you wanting to go if someone is a beach type person definitely check it out. Just something very relaxing to me to get away and the biggest worry I have for 7 days is where am I going to eat at. The newer ships have all kinds of activates on board during sea days for all ages of people. Even during 7 days if your going to see and do everything you have to really try hard. The last ship I went on I ate food nonstop and didn't even get to try all the places that was included with the price. I will hold off on rambling any longer lol

I still have 3 hours until I can leave from work, but I have mentally checked out.

Makes it even longer when I have no motivation to do anything so that the time will pass quickly.

Have you ever done something dumb and you know that it's dumb but you just keep doing it over and over again?

Well, that's me when it comes to buying Funko Pop's. I bought my first one in December and though that I would just buy a few cheap ones that are less than 10 bucks and be done with it.... however, it hasn't worked out like that at all. I know that that cheesy inanimate objects with little value whatsoever but I can't stop looking for deals on them and buying them when I find one.

The bad thing is my wife is in on this addiction too and at this point we're feeding off of one another. I think we need a support group or something.

My brother in law works 20 hours a week, can barely afford to feed himself (and complains about it) and buys one or two of those things a week. [emoji849] Makes me want to slap the **** out of him.

More power to you if you can throw money away on useless **** (and admit it while you’re doing it), but it blows my mind. Yeah, there’s a little jealousy going on here, I’m not gonna lie. I spend $15/month on Spotify and to someone else that’s just some sounds, so it’s all relative. I’m not in the business of telling someone else what to do with their money... but feel free to funnel those dollars my way! Lol

What would you guys say is your experience with contract to hire positions?

I have a job offer for a 6 month term at a really big company through a temp agency which may turn into a permanent role presuming that the company's budget and my success allows for it.

Sounds like BS? I see a lot of recent reviews from people online about how they were contractors and were shuffled off after.
