On the topic of snacks from years ago, I can't remember the name of it, but there were these kind of chips/snacks I used to have that you made yourself. I think the pack had flat green or pink squares and you'd make it on a frying pan and it'd end up expanding. It'd obviously end up having lots of oil in it, but I can't remember what they were called.


This is closest thing I've found to it, but this is a regular chip bag, not one you make yourself. But I remember it looking (and somewhat tasting) similar to this.

You used to buy chips you had to make for yourself? How cumbersome is that? I want snacks now, not snacks that need to be prepped and cooked for 30 mins

Didn't take 30, probably 5 or so. Similar time as making popcorn from kernels.

You didn't need to eat all at once. Make the whole thing out, save rest for later. Last time I had it was probably 15+ years ago, so I don't remember much about it.

You can just have a pizza bar. They start you off with the dough and sauce, then you hand-decorate it and have the people working there place it in the oven. Some buffets do that.

I actually started to try a place like that in NY once, but as soon as i saw they offered cucumbers as a topping i left and never came back.

Bought a bag of these for the first time in YEARS...totally forgot how awesome these are.

Never had those. They look bland.

They had these at my 4 year old nephew's party. Pretty sure I ate more than the kids. That's not even the sad part...... I couldn't eat them without putting them on my fingers first.

I saw a major chain around here offering potato slices as a topping. I already thought toppings like broccoli and spinach were abit much.
