This is the time of year where I go heavy into orange juice chicken noodle soup and 7-UP. Even when I'm not sick. Kind of a preemptive strike, if you will lol

OJ and soup probably help, not sure about the 7-UP though.

I just like 7-UP 'cause its easy on the stomach. For the same reason, I eat jello in the winter but really no other time.

Ginger Ale also helps especially when you do end up with a stomach issue. If you live in an area that sells Canada Dry that's the one to take.

Yep, we got Canada Dry and I do drink it, that and Schweppes. Which reminds me, I wonder if Schweppes the oldest soft drink around, their bottles say ''Since 1783''.

Great news for my family! At 9 AM St. Mikes Hospital called and informed my father they found a kidney. After 4 1/2 years of waiting this is the thing we've been most waiting for. He's just left with my mother and sister to do tests to see if it will completely match without rejection and have his transplant today. I'll be going over later on if that's the case.

Yeah, just confirmed, it's a complete match and he's having the transplant this afternoon. My sister is picking me and the niece up to go to the hospital.
