    Re: RIP Mo...

I just sent a beautiful basket of flowers.

I tried to get all of the usernames that posted in this thread, but it wouldn't fit. I posted the link to this thread instead.

Hopefully someone from the family will see it and show friends and family how much Mo meant to all of us.

RIP Mo. Gone at such a young age, but will never be forgotten.

It's terrible to hear about a young life cut short, my sincere sympathy to Mo's family and to everyone here who had some type of connection with him. It sounds like he was a great guy.

Wow, look at the amount that's been donated! OS is a truly great place.

I'm not on here as much as I used to be and didn't have much interaction with Mo, but did see his posts and tweets quite a bit. So sad to to see a life cut short like that. Looking at the impact he had - not just on OS, but also in his own community - he clearly left a pretty big mark on the world.

              RIP Mo.

I'm honestly overwhelmed by the response so far. I set a modest goal of $250 and that was obliterated in no time. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far.

So long my friend you will be missed more than you could ever imagine. I enjoyed the fun we had in the OSFC and the friendly trash talking we had. Personally you helped me get through a rough time in my life in 2012 when my marriage fell apart you encouraged me to keep going when I didn't want to and I will always be thankful for that.

Almost $1,500 raised for the Community Center from the GoFundMe so far. What a great community we have here!

                          Quick update on this: https://www.gofundme.com/friends-of-mo

First of all - $1,465.... Wow!

The way that GoFundMe trasnfers the funds is a bit weird and slow. I set it up yesterday, and the first chunk of $800+ they say will hit my account on March 28th. Then it should pull anything daily if there's a balance available. Weird that they don't pull it all at once, but maybe it's just a delay in processing from different cards/accounts that people use.

Anyway, once everything is cleared out, I'll make the full donation of the amount and provide receipts so everything is transparent. I could have linked the Community Center directly, but then the percentage fee on each donation would have more than doubled! Thanks again everyone!

I'm really gonna miss his sense of humor, he had impeccable timing with jokes on OS, and although I don't have a ton of interaction with people on twitter, he was always someone to hit me with a playful jab when I had neighbor complaints or just general dumb stuff I'd post, he'd be there with an equally dumb yet witty reply. He even had humor about himself when he had the miget moniker, gonna miss Mo for sure, RIP

They will be laying Mo to rest later today.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm still devastated and I'll remain devastated. It's incredibly hard to believe that this actually happened.
