    Re: Christmas 2018

The wife and I were both sick on Christmas so we put off our Christmas with the in-laws until New Years. We opened our gifts to each other and watched Christmas movies and basketball in bed all day..

I scored a cool Logan poster from the 2017 SDCC comic con for my man cave, a glow in the dark Lucky the Leprechaun funko pop, a custom Moochie fleece blanket and some clothes. The wife and pups got plenty of gifts too so overall a pretty good Christmas and we still have a little more to go. Prolonged Christmas FTW!

      Merry Christmas everyone!
My lady and I traveled 399 miles over 4 days to spend time with both families. On the last car ride home we looked at each other and said "last time we do this"

Going to the every other year with both families. It's too much travel time and anxiety of keeping both families happy for the holiday we don't really get to enjoy ourselves.

We got home on Christmas day around 5 PM and did our own thing. We both took off the entire week. So spending time just us and the dog. Watching TV and playing games. Very relaxing after the last week.

        Re: Christmas 2018

I worked from 7am to 2pm on Christmas Eve. Mixed a 7&7 when I got home and watched a little bit of White Christmas. My wife was off and she was finishing up wrapping while my son was napping. Was over at her aunt and uncles at 4:30. Had dinner and did gifts. We draw names at Thanksgiving for the adults. My brother in law had my name and he got me an Iowa shirt and made a cool Iowa sign with a tiger hawk out of a wooden log. Our son got some cool gifts from everyone there. Drank some Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale and Shiner's Holiday Cheer. Got home around 8 and my wife and I put together a Melissa & Doug table for our son and set a train set up on it. That was our gift to him. Then my wife went to bed and I watched some Christmas movies while having some more beer.

Christmas Morning we had some breakfast, then took our son (he will be 2 in Jan) down to the basement and he went crazy when he saw is train and started dancing and clapping. My wife and I exchanged gifts while he played and had Christmas music on in the background. Then we laid around the rest of the day and after my son took a nap we were at her sister's for dinner and gifts with them and her parents. Got a nice haul of stuff. Enjoyed a few Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat beers while there. Played video games when we got home.

Was off yesterday and we set up the rest of my son's gifts and watched him play. I am back at work today. The holiday went fast but it was a joy to see my son be able to experience everything. Last year he was just crawling around but this year he was running all over and opening presents and playing with his cousins. It was a lot of fun and I am thankful for my wife and son.

This Saturday we are going 2 hours to my parents to do Christmas with them. Should be another good haul of gifts.

These are my 3 favourite gifts that I got from my wife.

I love the Scuf Vantage PS4 controller. I saw the painting on this site...I think and posted it on Facebook in April, so my amazing wife bought it for me. The Vice golf bag has been something I’ve been waiting for them to get back in stock. I’m basically all in on Vice. Bag, hats, towels, gloves and their golf balls. I love their products and I love my wife for being on the ball.

She also got me Bose speakers and a bunch of other stuff. It’s been a great Christmas 2018 and the spirit is still strong in the Stewart household.

Mike that baseball picture is freakin awesome!!

My favorite gift was a St.Louis Cardinals pullover from my kids and a St.Louis Cardinals t-shirt with the old school logo from my sister.

I also got NBA 2k19, but after playing it for a day, it was returned.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Thanks country. I see something new each time I look at it. I’m hanging it where the Christmas tree is, so it won’t be up until just after the New Year.

Your avatar messed me up. Thought we shared the same birthday or something like that, then I realized that it’s The Show 19 release date.

You didn’t like NBA 2K19? I have both 2K and Live and I enjoy both games, but Live is so much fun to play.

Nah..my birthday is in October. Just excited for the Show '19 to drop.

Yeah, but that's not a true indication of the game itself, as I'm not a NBA fan, nor do I much enjoy basketball video games. I got it and messed with the expansion/relocation option, which is very cool, but the actual gameplay, just left me bored.

Again, not saying its a bad game or anything, just that basketball, especially NBA, is not my cup of tea.

For that special germaphobe in your life, lol. No, but it's seriously a good idea...if people only knew what was lurking on the surface of their phone...

I think I remember watching this episode on Shark Tank also.

Christmas was wonderful. All three of my kids were happy and well-behaved in the midst of the chaos that my sister's single hell child brings. And they let us sleep late and get a nap mid-afternoon.

The day after Christmas, I had a vasectomy, then on Friday I had a nerve block. That was a jolly ole, ho ho, hoe-down time. No regrets. I'm tired of pulling out, and even more tired of making babies.
