We throw out a lot of Seinfeld references here, so there's probably more than a couple people who'll recognize this scene.

Charles Levin, who played one of the best one-off Seinfeld characters, was found dead yesterday.

Random though, but heres one of these generational things that prob won't change.

Even with Amazon and stuff, you still have some people wanting to buy the exact same stuff at similar/higher price than from amazon who ships it right to you within a day or two.

Funny how I saw stores advertising to people "offline shopping". You get to see the item and receive it instantly after you pay lol. Groundbreaking stuff.

Maybe it's just that I'm used to amazon, but I dont see how you'd care to buy stuff in store vs online on some basic stuff. Clothes and more expensive purchases I understand, but even something as basic as non perishable grocery items, you find cheaper, why not buy it there?

Don't a good portion of your posts in the gear grinder thread come from something you ordered online that wasn't received as you thought it would be?

Some people prefer to support their local economy instead of buying online. It's more than just ease of access and pricing. Amazon isn't always the lowest price on a lot of items.

I dont buy online becausethe vast majority of what I need I can get immediately within a few miles of my house. I'm not opposed to buying online, but its got to be something I cant get right away and would really be the only way
