I disagree completely, especially since we get decimals within that year (months, weeks, days, whatever you want to say). I'm in the realm of understanding that the decade starts on the 0.

especially since year 1 A.D. wasnt even the first recorded year. The decade of the Twenties starts next month. Personal gear grinder of mine, not having a proper rolls-off-the-tongue way of referring to the last two decades. That was a long and rough 20 years. I miss the 90's lol. Just never felt right calling the this decade the teens or the previous the aughts

Last month of the decade! Unless you're one of the people who thinks the decade goes from 2011-2020.

those are the people who missed celebrating the turn of the millennium and settled on a Newmanium celebration the next year

It'll be weird living in the 20s.

Our whole lives, we've known the time period referred to as "the 20s" being the post WWI, pre-great depression era. People born then might've been our grandparents or great grandparents depending on your age.

Now we're gonna be living in our own 20s. For the rest of our lives we'll have specific decades. 20s,30s,40s and so on.

I'm sure this has existed in the US for awhile, but I just saw a commercial on TV advertising 7-11 pizza DELIVERY.

1. Who eats 711 pizza?
2. Do that many people actually eat 711 pizza?
3. Who's gonna order 711 pizza for delivery?
