I think I'm the opposite. If I were ever able to leave the company I work for, I wouldn't say a word. I'm positive after a couple days away with no word from me, they'd call me to find out what's up. and I would apologise and say ''I'm sorry but your services are no longer required''. And hang up.

I’m transferring within the same company, or else I would’ve given them a “sorry for your loss” card with my two weeks in it.

I know I'm late, but we made it!

OS is in the NBA 2k20 commercial.

Instagram is getting rid of "likes." Cool. Now if only twitter would do that.

I would like your post, but.......

I hope we do get past this whole "worth based on likes" part of society.

I actually heard someone be like "did you see their post? X people saw their post, but only Y liked it. That's a low percentage.".

Lol really, I guess they're one of those people who obsess over who views and likes their stuff and keeps tabs on all this stuff. I never knew there was some sort of percentage thing that people use to determine how popular things are.

Shoot, you weren't around here back when World Series Baseball 2K3 came out. Many of the fake coach names were OS moderators and administrators, with Steve Noah having like an A+ rating.

Then ESPN MLB 2K5 had my old username (MuffinMcFluffin) in an e-mail that gets sent to your e-mail in GM mode, which was cool. It was something about a fan complaining about something or giving praise to something, I can't really remember.

Old hockey forum I was on got to pick one of the legend teams in their tourney mode. ESPNhockey.net (offshoot from Thunderpuck, later became 2khockey.net) for ESPN NHL 2K5.

LOL maybe it was! If not, it should have been.

No, but your owner sends you an e-mail and says something like "One of your most devoted fans who on the Internet goes by MuffinMcFluffin blah blah blah." Maybe like says he only goes to ballgames when something something happens, whatever it was. That's just an example.

I am so incredibly saddened by this, too. There is such a limit of options, mostly because everything now is mobile.

That’s it, I’m busting out the XBOX and playing MVP and NFL 2K5.

I know the games we have now are better, but those were just fun. I can’t believe how long it’s been. Funny being close to 30 and still wanting to play the games I obsessed over (here and otherwise) as a 15 year old. It’s starting to hit the same point where older heads felt about Tecmo Bowl compared to THOSE early 2000s games.

For what it’s worth, Tecmo Super Bowl is still the ish. It’s why I’m a Bills fan; I had to pick them (great teams during the era) to keep up with my older brothers’ Giants and Bears teams. They still trashed me. Hmph.

Dude don't even get me started on Tecmo Super Bowl. I use to keep season stats in a notebook. And I'd update career stats each year as well (with my trusty calculator and eraser lol). Kept track of yearly standings and season/career records as well. Man I had so much fun doing that. To bad I don't have those notebooks anymore. That'd be something cool to go through. I think I kept track of something like 25 seasons.

I play 2K5 all of the time. The game is still extraordinary.

And I've posted this a lot, but I am still incredibly upset that I ever traded in my Xbox. My seven-year strong franchise with the Chargers should still be going on to this day. Everything I earned in the Crib, all of my custom music additions, etc. should be a part of the whole ordeal. I can't believe I ever let it go.

I bought and sold 2K5 3-4 times (the $20 price tag made it easy, even as a teen). I distinctly remember the last time I did, I promised I wouldn’t do it again. By then, we either knew or were pretty sure it wouldn’t be coming back again. Same deal with MVP.

Went through 3 XBOX’s. One was my fault — used to be one of those spike your controller kids, so shameful to even admit to right now. Shed that bad habit when I smashed the XBOX disc tray back in to the system and broke it. Second one died on its own, which sucked since I had finally repented for my game smashing sins. LOL. Have had this current one since, probably going on 12 or so years now. Upgraded to a PS3 in 2009. Sounds about right.

I really did bring it back out today after that post. At halftime, down 25-14 to the Giants in my Redskins franchise. I think this is Year 4.

Well that was one of the craziest games I’ve ever played. Pretty much trailed all game, even late I was down 14 points and was basically trying to finish up the game but still chucking it.

Hit an onsides kick with 27 seconds left. 3 passes later, scored with 2 seconds remaining. OT. Had the Giants on 2 different 3rd Downs (one measured for a first), converted both including the walk off game winner a 56 yarder to Tim Carter (?!?!). Sean Taylor, rest his soul, tipped the damn ball too!

Giants missed an XP earlier too.

I threw for 5 TD, 395 yards (2 WR over 100, Rod Gardner had 94), probably my most ever. I was never a great passer in this game. Rush game was shut down, Portis averaged under 3 YPC. Manning threw for 300+ and 4 TD himself, their RB ran for 125+.

                                Epic game. Long live 2k5!

I think I’m gonna keep the XBOX out for a bit...
