This is a real thing that is medically proven for a very specific circumstance and although it sounds absolutely horrible, there's a good scientific rationale for it.

I'd still be a fan but I wouldn't spend nearly as much time or emotional energy on following them. I'd then pick another team and have that be team "1a".

my love of my team isnt rooted in being number one in the final standing , its ensconced at #1 in the only real place that matters , my heart . my high school football team is rarely even competitive and if I live to be 100 I dont expect any championships but come Friday nights in the fall home or away rain or shine you know where I'll be

I recently sold tickets on StubHub. I checked the game today and saw my tickets I sold are being resold for less money.

Could that person be just unable to go anymore or maybe they're doing something fishy?

Why are you keeping track of tickets you've already sold?

I was just curious if I got a good deal or not. I know sometimes prices go up so I wanted to see if the amount I sold it for was good, or if I should've actually made prices higher (I listed them for the cheapest price of all tickets for the game at the time)

maybe they peered into the future and found out their team never wins the big one

Speaking of peering into the future, a crazy/creepy story I read that sounds like it's happening in USA.

There's technology coming soon where a camera can look at you, guess your age and based on what you're browsing around, could have targeted ads towards you in store!

So lets say you're shopping in the kitchen appliance section looking for a new microwave. It'll look at you, guess maybe you're around 35 or something, and then you'll see an ad pop up in a monitor near you suggesting something like a grill or toaster.

Or if you have a kid with you, it could suggest you buy some frozen pizza snack or something for them.

Google is basically sending you ads from inside your own mind, I'm not worried about a camera. Monkey's out of the bottle on that one.

The main thing is that on Google, it's just using algorithms based on what you type/look up.

In person, they'd actually be capturing your face to determine stuff. Not that stores don't already record anything (I mean if you've ever shopped in any store, you're on their security cameras. Some even have the monitors right when you enter to let you know you're on camera everywhere), but people just uneasy about taking the next step in this process. Not just capturing your face on camera, but now using that for marketing purposes.

I wonder why it needs to figure out your age . I guess it weight guessing isnt far behind & then judging by how you dress if you have money to spend . no reason to market to you if your poorer than a broke-**** dog

Advertising to a 50 year old dad would be diff than a 20 year old guy
