he wuz robbed . I could get into horseracing more if there were no jockey . they say horses love to run , let 'em run . w/o having their backsides whipped . and back to the Derby , lane schmane , I say . rubbings racing

I can't fault cb for Derby disapproval, if I lived that close to Louisville, I'd consider leaving town for a weeks vacation Derby week. But from a television perspective I rather enjoy the pomp and circumstance lol

It may quickly become my favorite sport.

My sister talked me into joining Twin Spires, last year (betting site) so that she could get a free $10 to bet for referring a friend. I got $10 as well for signing up. I told my uncle and brother about it who signed up and I got $10 each for them. I honestly forgot that I had the money ($30) sitting there until I got an email reminder that I had the money and after a year of inactivity they would close the account and any free money would be revoked.

So I placed a $10 across the board bet on Country House simply due to his name and being a long shot.

This morning...horse racing isn't looking so bad.

If I didn't work in Louisville, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. But seeing as how I have to fight the traffic (and road closures for the parade) each year, I've grown to hate Derby week.
