I went thru my first license check last week after 16 years of driving.
...don't really have a point, just an OT statement.

My mother in law might need to get this done, I couldn’t believe it when she told me about it.

I don't even know how something like this is thought about in terms of medical treatment. If my doctor suggested this to me, prior to now, I would've gotten up, walked out of his office and found myself a new doctor.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

A guy at work told me about it and I thought he was making some type of joke, until he showed me the link.

I haven't clicked on the link, but saw the words in the link. I'm just trying to put it all together based on comments. You don't want to know what I'm thinking this discussion is about. However, it's probably the truth.
Nonchalantly changing topic:
If you went to the future, found out that every one of your fave sports teams would never win a championship for the rest of your life, then returned to the present, would you still be a fan?Comment

re: Off-Topic
Yes. If they contended some years and provided memories and actually tried to win instead of pulling some Marlins-type bull**** for the vast majority of their existence.
I'm already used to my teams not winning anyway.Comment

re: Off-Topic
For me, I just feel like if I knew 100% they'd never win, that takes all fun out of it. Even 99.9% likely they won't win, there's still that chance of craziness happening.
You might still have the big moments, but it won't lead to a title.
Almost connecting a debate from another thread. What is it about NA sports especially where it seems like championships are all that matters? In other sports leagues, it's more than 1 trophy teams can play for in a season, and many times it's not just "title or bust" mentalities. We brush off regular season accomplishments, basically mock division banners or regular season champs, and mainly judge a 16,82,162 game season season based on 4-28 games VS a few teams.Comment

I've seen the Cubs and White Sox win the World Series, I've seen the Bulls win six titles, and even though I don't give a **** about hockey I've seen the Blackhawks win a few times too. I'd like to be aware enough to actually enjoy a Bears Super Bowl win one day (I was six months old or something when they won) but I've seen every other major team in the city win so if this is all I'd ever see as a fan it's still pretty good.Comment
