      Here's the math:

And that's just on paper. In reality I'm sure we all notice differences in pizzas. It won't be the exact size for various reasons (some intentional, some unintentional). And don't get me started on when places(regardless if it's a pizza place, or sub, or any kind of food) starts going real light on the toppings/ingredients. Sometimes it's as if they'd use same amount of toppings on a large vs a medium. It's one of the reasons I don't go to Subway anymore (that, and the fact that a sub cost as much as a medium pizza)

Groceries is the bigger thing people should look out for, especially since you can actually use math for most items since the amount is posted on the label. It's like the difference between a 50 cent bag of chips vs the same brand for $1 and $1.50. The $1 bag isn't twice the amount of the 50 cent bag, but the $1.50 bag has 4 times the amount as the 50 cent bag. But despite that, people still opt for multiple 50 cent bags, not realizing they're getting less for their money.

On my Facebook app on my phone I get this story things like "Worst customers", "Worst neighbors", "Dumbest things someone ever said" etc. that I read when I'm on my lunch break at work or riding my recumbent bike at home. Usually takes anywhere from 15-25 minutes to read one depending on how many different stories it has and how sluggish the app is being/how many times it tries to redirect. l3ulvl could write a whole book worth of those.

Also, area formula assumes the pizzas are all flat, 2 dimensional objects. What you really need is the volume of a cylinder formula (V=πr^2 h). But of course not all pizzas are the same thickness. What if the 2 12 inch pizzas are thin crust while the 18 inch is a deep dish or vise versa.

This guy made billions of $$ at Amazon but divorce court split assets (and debt) equally 50/50 so half the $$ in his bank account could go to his wife.

                              That's just...incredibly illogical to me.

They've been married for 25 years, have 3 kids, met before Amazon was founded and she helped him write the initial business plan and secure funding.

This isn't your typical celebrity divorce. She was literally with him shooting in the gym.
