    She’s beautiful.

My prayers are with you. I know how hard it is to let them go.

You provided her an amazing 11 years I'm sure.

        Sorry for your loss man.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Thank you. I tried to spoil her and so did her grandparents. She was absolutely adored.

I actually read your message with my 17 year old shih tzu on my lap. My little fella is breaking down but he's still my buddy and always will be. He's fighting to jump down because he wants to play toys lol. I like to joke that he has "magic" and used his magic most notoriously to help CMU (his favorite football team (I'm weird, I know)) win on a miracle fluke hail mary a couple years ago that never should've happened.

I'm rambling and don't remember where I was trying to go with this, but condolences for your loss, the unfortunate thing about pets is knowing they'll be gone way before you, but on the plus side you get a lifetime of memories from them

I did everything I could to help her, but it just wasn’t going to work and she was suffering. I am a broken man. My heart hurts so much. I’m just asking for prayers from any of you that believe, because she was the most important thing in the world to me and now, she is gone and I have nothing. If you have a dog, hug them extra tight, tonight, because you just never know how much time you have left with them. Rest easy, Maggie. Daddy will see you, again one day. 💔
I'm sorry PPerfect_CJ, ever since I read this post I have hardly thought of anything else. I napped earlier and my dream was filled with items regarding your post again. Maggie looked so lovable and loving, and it must have been the most heartwrenching thing to do what you had to do.

To say that you are in my thoughts is an understatement, and I've already let the tears flow a little bit, man. Dogs are the most precious gift that we don't create for ourselves, and it's only such a shame that the gift can't last our lifetime. I am truly devastated by your loss, but Maggie can now eat, drink, and play to her leisure without pain. Hopefully you see her again someday, hopefully that's still a very long time from now. She'll be waiting!

You’re not weird. I always said that West Virginia was Maggie’s team, because that’s where she was born. Yeah, it’s just not fair that their lives are so much shorter. If I had one wish, it would be for dogs to be able to live as long as humans. Just make sure and enjoy every minute with him.

Thank you so much, Blzr. She was truly a special girl. So sweet and loving to everyone she met and smart as a whip. I’m still telling her goodnight and good morning and find myself randomly telling her “daddy loves you” throughout the day. I have her a pretty little urn ordered that will be here Friday and I’m having it engraved. She will have her own little area in the house for her ashes and a ton of pictures. Can’t wait to run and play with her, again.

This is totally normal, at least for me and others who have lost a pet. I lost a guinea pig (most people laugh at the idea, but these are incredibly lovable pets with huge personalities), and I have this canvas kind of picture of her in my house resting above a small cabinet in my family room, and I say hi to her all the time the same way I would talk to her. I also have a photo of her as my desktop background, and have had it for nine years now (five days from now will mark the decade-long anniversary of her passing). I have the engraved urn and all as well.

These animals are family, and need to be enshrined as such. They will never be forgotten, because they often change our adult selves on an emotional level tenfold more than any human ever could.

It sounds like you're in the transition period (within your grieving), but hopefully/pretty soon you will convert sad thoughts of losing her into all happy thoughts of who she was and memories of her. Both you and Maggie deserve that.

Amen, brother. They are definitely family. She got me through so many horrible times in my life. There's nothing in the world I wouldn't do for her. She'll be a part of me forever.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I'm never getting one either. Even as a kid, I hated those peel and stick stuff.

Fellas, help me out I’m getting a vasectomy on Thursday and I’m not looking forward to it.

I know the shot down there is gonna hurt super bad.
