My dad was a troll at this, dude turned into a driver's Ed instructor if he saw someone was waiting for his spot. Checking mirrors, 10 and 2, is the angle on his hat right, **** was hilarious.

It’s one thing if there are plenty of parking spots. But when there are cars driving around in circles trying to find a spot, you need to hurry up.

A couple of weeks ago I went to CFA and there wasn’t a single parking spot. This one woman came out and took a good 5-10 minutes getting ready before pulling out.

Who said any of this? I’m talking about if you’re walking out of the store/mall/wherever and you’re going to your car to leave and you see a car that just happens to pull up, sees you getting inside and turn the car on and you’re just sitting there holding up a spot for no reason.

I’m talking about THAT, not speaking about the other stuff you mentioned.

Considering some places have combos that are close to $10 it doesn't seem too unreasonable anymore. I know when I pick up a bunch of chicken or something I'll always go in just to make it easier for everyone.

People used to come through the Captain D's drive thru when I was in HS and order 3 family meals and **** the whole drive thru up. Then get upset when you ask them to pull up to the curb.

Sometimes it's people just being too lazy to walk a little bit, specifically at Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

People will spend more time looking for a spot when they could have been 1/4 of the way through their shopping if they just sucked it up and parked further away. Depending on what vehicle I'm driving I do that anyways.


CFA is always the wild wild west. I live about 3 minutes from a Chick Fil A and still hardly ever go because the parking lot isn't big enough and the drive thru stays wrapped around the building and spilling out into the highway.

CFA is drive-thru or bust for me because they are typically congested and their parking lots are usually a bitch trying to maneuver in and out of.

Generally speaking I'm the driver who parks in the back 40 rather than hunting for a parking space at the door.

Thank goodness for the CFA App, I can just put my order in and pick it up when it’s ready, which is no more than 5-10 mins. And most of that time is spent driving there.

But god bless those who wait in that drive thru line.

Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger, I just park in the first open spot I find. When there’s plenty of parking, I don’t care if people take their time.

And as much as I love CFA, it’s about to become obsolete for me. I do mobile ordering, but there’s no point if there’s nowhere to park. And the drive-thru is a disaster no matter when you go.

I usually just do that.

Are you really gonna spend an extra 30 seconds driving around to get a closer spot, or just park in the first spot you see.

And other times I'll go further away on purpose. More likely to find a spot, less chance of having people walking 1 inch behind your car while you're pulling out of the spot, and best thing is when you can drive into one spot, and end up in the spot infront so you just drive out afterwards.

I haven’t had a problem with people sitting in their cars but I’m also willing to park at the back of a lot.

I’m also used to not parking close to things since I’ve lived in a city my entire life. I have to walk 2 blocks back to my house from where I parked sometimes.
