So I guess its safe to assume that my problem is my problem and there isnt some magical solution to fix it? I really enjoy coming here but not so much anymore since it takes an eternity to do anything. I give up, thanks for trying bronco, if you think of something else to try then let me know.

Do you happen to have another laptop/pc that you can use to log in and test with? Maybe it's spyware/adware?

Yes, I tried it on my girlfriends laptop and it did the same thing and she is using a different virus protection service then I am so there is literally no common bond between the two computers other then we are on the same internet network.

Try this.

Go to a DOS prompt. Start, Run, CMD, enter.

Type ping www.operationsports.com

Any issues?

If not, type tracert www.operationsports.com

Any timeout issues?

Okay, did the first thing and no errors, 4 packets sent and 4 packets received. Did the tracert thing and the first test timed out, tests 2-18 did not time out, but Im going to be honest here, I dont know what the hell Im looking at either. For #'s 2-18 the locations change starting in Beaverton then Troutdale, Seattle, Denver, Dallas and then the trace was complete. Hopefully this is of some help to you guys since Im not sure what Im looking at.

To answer bronco, my ISP is Comcast.

Like I said, hopefully this is of some help to you guys here, let me know if there is something else you want me to check on my end.

Is anyone else on Comcast finding OS to be very slow?

To follow up on the a.collective-media.net issues... our ad provider has told us that they will soon be introducing a "friendly" ad serving system that will ensure the entire page loads before any ads appear (or ad code is loaded for those of you using ad blockers). This should resolve all issues. I'm awaiting an update as to when this will actually happen though.

OS has been loading incredibly slow for a month on my computer. I use the latest Firefox browser, Time Warner Road Runner is my provider. Tried IE 8 and loaded fine but just once,subsequent tries have loaded slower than molasses. Tried two laptops on my ISP both loaded very slowly.One of the laptops had a Safari browser ,OS loaded quickly but again just once other tries have been very slow. I am also using a wireless broadband connection.Besides this site my computer seems to be working well.

This is pretty much the reason why I havent been posting here alot. I just dont have the patience to wait 25-30 seconds just to go to each page. Really irritating.

I come and go.

Sometimes it works great, and when it does I'm here just as much as normal, but then it acts up again and I end up not coming here for awhile.

I share your complete frustration with this on-going issue guys. I do not experience the slow down, but I am sick of reading that others are. I have told our ad provider that we need to resolve this once and for all this week. I'll keep you posted.

I share your complete frustration with this on-going issue guys. I do not experience the slow down, but I am sick of reading that others are. I have told our ad provider that we need to resolve this once and for all this week. I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: I should add, it has been nice and fast 95% of the time. Just seems from time to time it slows down, and nothing loads.

The loading's gotten choppy again at the moment...
