        Is IE supposed to be slower?

        ZX Spectrum
        CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
        GPU: Monochrome display
        RAM: 48 KB
        OS: Sinclair BASIC

            I have the newest version of Firefox, no additions. I do not know exactly how fast is my connection. I have Verizon DSL, I also do not...err yes I have the blocker that comes with Firefox.

                IE is generally considered a slower browser overall to FF, however it shouldn't be slow slow that you can't navigate OS.

                Have you tried with the blocker turned off? It might be trying to block too much and causing problems?

                                                Things are so much faster now that I've blocked collective media.

                                                No idea why I hadn't done so earlier.

                                                        Just wonderig if OS has been going slower for anyone else? It's been pretty slow for me at times over the last week or so.
