Clearing the cache definitely helped me be able to stay logged in on my computer using chrome. Still can't use my phone to access OS at all though, which is how I do most of my OS reading/commenting.

For those wanting an app, or just not have to go to your web browser every time while on mobile... I have learned a non-revolutionary thing, lol. In your setting area you can pin OS to your home screen (or anywhere), and make it into a standalone "app".

You can even do this on your PCs as well. It's a tech called "Progressive Web Apps" or just "Pinned websites" (depending on if the site has done work to be a PWA or not). I find it useful at work when I want to use a website like an app or want the web app version of something vs the native app.

One of the better additions to Mobile operating systems I must say!

Engineer has reconfigured TapaTalk and it works! Feel free to login and try it out. It is slow and he's tinkering with it, but it probably has a bit to do with the slowness of the forums overall. Just a heads up.

Thanks Steve! This is tremendous. I can go back to being less productive at work again!

Looks like it, at least on my iPad using Safari.

Timed out on me while logged in (see screenshot below). Opened in a private browser (not logged in) and it loaded right up. Deleted my cookies again and it was still slow to log me in and load.

Engineer is still fine tuning the speed issues. The clearing cookies/cache is a fix for people that can't stay logged in, so that won't help the speed issue.

Not sure if it helps others, but I'm on Windows 10 + Firefox and have been totally fine when it comes to staying logged in. Had maybe 1 issue the first day, been fine since.

I just took the screenshot a few minutes ago. Seemed like it was working normally up until OS wallpaper was applied.

Edit: Even after making this post it stills that post by thedude from last night as the most recent but switched from the 'L' avatar (which isn't even thedude's) to my 'B' avatar.
Edit2: Cleared data for this site and that didn't fix it.
Edit3: Actually, it looks like it might just be this thread that's bugged. The Off-Topic thread in the neighborhood still showed the down arrows for 1st new post and correctly updated the last post. Though it could also be that the OT thread was stickied before the changeover whereas this thread is new and stickied since the changeover. Not sure if any other new sticky threads have been created since 5/1.
I just came to mention a similar issue. I noticed the main page shows me that the last post on the MLB The Show forum is in the Patch 10 thread when there are several threads with more recent posts. I haven’t checked to see how many boards it applies to but it’s definitely not all of them. Hopefully it’s not too tough to track down whatever the bug is.

i saw that avatar thing yesterday too but haven’t seen it today.

Awesome. The default VB5 style is much better. Much more familiar and usable. If we eventually get some various color schemes in this style, oh yeah!

Holding down on the icon to see likes is cool. Good enough haha.

Thanks Steve and team for all the hard work.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's the current equivalent of USER CP? I had that bookmarked for years to see all the new posts in my subscribed threads. I'm just trying to figure out what to bookmark on the new forums for my OCD, it's been driving me nuts lol
