Turf looks a lot better. Non-scanned faces stick out like sore thumbs because the scans look so good. Did not notice new off ball behaviors at all but the contextual touches linking animations are evident. Subtle but if you've logged a lot of FIFA hours you'll see the difference. Hard to say much more with so little play time. But I will say I played a five minute half match on 100% default sliders and didn't hate it. Obviously some things I would want to change but for a quick default match it seemed OK.

Last thing, not sure on the haptic stuff. It had me laying off sprint later in the match and seems like it also kicks in after some contact. Can't imagine the responsiveness crowd will like but maybe I'm wrong since it's a new feature Sony is pushing.

So far, it's pretty decent. Felt completely different on PS5 vs playing on PC.

You ain't lying about the non-scans vs. the scans for player faces. Just captured a Sterling celebration with the full zoom in and man it looks unreal. But then you'll see some real uncanny valley ish with non-star no scans. Like they don't look fake or anything but you just can tell they don't belong.

Looks like it’s a widespread issue where a lot of PS5 users are getting shafted when it comes to getting the update.

Keep getting an error message that we already own this item and it won’t let us download it because of something called the “FIFA 21 PFT tracker”

No response from EA or SONY as of yet.

God forbid an EA release goes smooth in any way.

The only thing I would say is it maybe wasn't supposed to be released yet. Is it just people who went digital having the issue? I have the disc and it was seamless but I know at least one person who was digital who is having the issue.

I thought the same thing that it wasn’t supposed to be released yet, but even FIFAS official Twitter account is spreading the word that it’s released and available to play.

When looking on Twitter and Reddit, it honestly seems random.

Digital, physical, standard or special editions, there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why a bunch of us keep getting this error message.

Fifa 21 next gen graphics are a lot better than maddens next gen ones

it seems grass snow and players have been improved

but the MOST noticeable is the BALL

it moves realistically now

its much more PES feeling too

player animations esp. running could have been improved but i understand FIFA is now a online game more so than a sim

Glad i held off next gen. Looked at a video of gameplay. Other then the snow on the field, crowd and goal celebrations the game plays and looks just like last gen. Player models, animations on the field look the same. Not impressed at all EA.

So this is my first time playing fifa 21. I play a little of 20 but not a lot. And I’m blown away by the graphics. It look so real I’m in awe. Now i didnt have a problem with the gameplay got to get used to it since technically I haven’t play a fully fifa since 18. But so far so good. I’m kinda happy i didnt play 21 cuz everything to me is new. Now madden is different i played 21 and not going to lie worry about there next gen

The game seems pretty familiar from the PS4 version and the graphics don't seem like that much of an upgrade but the new camera and the haptic feedback are pretty great and make it feel next gen.
