BUY THIS KID Low League CM's!!!

I started a Mansfield Town CM I've been playing a 4231 (wide) I picked up Reise Allassani on loan from Crystal Palace with the option to buy him at the end of the season. He has been incredible for me, do not let his starting 59 rating fool you he actually has great physical stats for a 17 yr old! I placed him at CAM as he can play there. He always seems to be in the right position and if he isn't he is moving to the right position. He feels like your playing with Isco because he makes really key passes and pretty much runs my offense for me. Im hoping I can get him passed his potential because I plan on keeping him. The only bad thing I have to say about him is that he only has a 3* weak foot and 2* skill moves but other than that he is a perfect buy for low league teams.

His current Football League 2 Stats

Ok scratch the FC Lorient idea, I don't really like the team (bar Aliadiere, he's still a god). I'm going to have a play around with a Cardiff City career mode, see of I can rewrite history and avoid relegation. I like the team, they have some nice young players and Gary Medel is one of my favourite DM's this year. If it goes well i'll post and if it doesn't, oh well.

        LIVERPOOL CAREER MODE

Champions League Quarter Final Leg 1

        Liverpool 1-1 Bayern Munchen
        Sturridge 32
        Gotze 68

Sturridge opened the scoring with a header at the second time of asking. Unfortunately, Bayern got a crucial away goal through a Gotze header on the rebound. Sturridge had a 40 yard screamer tipped over the bar expertly in the last minute.

        Match 29

        Liverpool 1-0 Arsenal
        McManaman 49
In a tight, hard-fought game, McManaman scored the first and only goal of the game, beating 3 defenders and whacking it in at the near post.

Champions League Quarter Final Leg 2

Bayern Munchen 0-1 Liverpool (1-2 agg)
        Suarez 66
Bayern defended valiantly but a lapse in concentration by Dante allowed Suarez to run clear a calmly put it past Neuer. We have progressed to the semi-finals in our first season back in European competition. Could this be our year?

        Match 30

        Everton 0-1 Liverpool
        McManaman 3
We got our revenge against our massive rivals with a win from an early goal. McManaman was played in and he chipped Howard, only for it to hit the bar but he smacked in on the rebound.

        Match 31

        Stoke 0-1 Liverpool
        Sterling 73
A quick counter attack allowed Sterling to break free and slot in, more like the Sterling of last season than this season.

        FA Cup Semi Final

        Spurs 1-2 Liverpool
        Lancaster 13
        Suarez 84
        Suarez 86

Youngster Lancaster gave Spurs the lead with a shot on the rebound of a Zouma block. Spurs then hit with an onslaught of chances before Suarez was released by Allen and he smacked into the roof of the net from a tight angle. Spurs then gave the ball away and Pastore chipped the ball over to Suarez to put us in the final.

Champions League Semi Final Leg 1

        Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool
        Mascherano 23
Mascherano gave United the lead against his former club with a stunning effort from distance. Marquinhos was then sent off for a rash tackle on Van Persie. De Gea kept his side in it with a remarkable 10 saves.

        Match 32

        Liverpool 1-0 Southampton
        Suarez 44
Suarez nipped in to get on the rebound of a Rakitic shot for the only goal of the game.

Champions League Semi Final Leg 2

Liverpool 3-0 Manchester United (3-1 agg)
        Verratti 14
        Sterling 23
        Suarez 90

Verratti opened the scoring to level the tie with a mazy run before smacking it into the far post. Sterling gave us the aggregate lead with a header from a De Sciglio cross. In the last minute, needing a goal to go through, Welbeck squared to Rooney but Shaw's last ditch block to deny an open goal led to a counter attack in which Suarez scored from.

Yeah thanks, I think ill try Rangers in league 2 since I already did Germany with Werder Bremen. As for the sliders I might add them when I get to the 2nd season and up the difficulty.

Has anyone made a career with AFC Wimbledon? I'm always tempted to do one but their kits drive me away...

I haven't made any updates on my Guadalajara career because there's not really anything to update on. My goal is to win the Copa LatAm which still hasn't been completed. On my 3rd season, about to win back to back league tournaments, and the Copa LatAm starts in 2 months. My first Copa LatAm I was eliminated by São Paulo in the quarter finals. Last year's Copa I was eliminated by Flamengo in the semifinals. Let's see how far I get this year. Looks like I'm picking up a bad streak against Brazilian teams...

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Hi guys, really enjoyed some of the stories on here so I thought I'd have a go at writing my own. I wanted to try and do a RTG style one with a league 2 team as I've never finished one before. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! (Sorry if a bit long, never done one before).

Preface: After (to my disappointment) I realised all league 2 goalkeeper kits are generic, I decided to pick Oxford United as they are the closest club I could find to a "Sleeping Giant" in the depths of league 2. They have been in England's top flight during the Premier League Era (I think) but I intend to visit the clubs Wikipedia page in order to get a feel of the club's history.

As this is a "next-gen" career, I was presented with the options of a 60% increase in my transfer budget as well as a 5 star scout for a year, I decided to discard these perks as I felt their inclusion might slightly "take the p***" in a league with very minimal budgets.

Beginning: The career mode is under way! I chose 8 minute halves and legendary difficulty, moderate finances and decide to allow European competitions in the 1st year (Not 100% sure why, but it felt right to include it). After a swift download of the updated squads I get to "create" my manager. I christen him in honour of myself, the Englishman rocks a grey suit with a vampire-like complexion and the slender frame of one to match.

As the career loads I am presented with a headline about Barca signing Neymar for £33 million. I fear it will be a long time before such headlines will be written about the U's...... (Trip to Wiki paying off already!).

Pre-Season: My target is to "achieve a high finish". I decide it's probably better not to ask the board to elaborate on this. I will also be expected to get to the round of 32 in a domestic cup but I take no notice of this. I am also introduced to my scouts, Messrs Chopra and Grindheim, the board also inform me that the transfer window is open.

I decide to check out the squad. I am pleasantly surprised to see the team already playing my preferred 4-2-3-1 formation. I am less pleased with the players i find in it. Youngsters Meades (LB,21) and Ruffels (LM, 19) show some promise and there's a winger called Potter who looks magic (sorry but couldn't resist). Other than this the squad is full of unremarkable players but there's a few older strikers who can do a job at this level, notably Kitson and Constable.

Surprised at the generous size of my £800,000 "War Chest" (at this level it certainly is anyway). So any ideas for potential signings would be appreciated! Would prefer to keep it fairly realistic and not sign any players from abroad yet. Thanks guys!

My personal favourite is Mamoud Kahraba but I also would suggest Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samed Yesil and Adam Morgan. I'm pretty sure other people are going to list the amazing Bundesliga players but just in case- Emre Can, Junior Malanda, Kaan Ayhan and Hakan Calhanoglu. Also Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is a god this year. That might have been a few too many, but this year there are just so many brilliant young players. Oh also have a look at Arkadiusz Milik, fantastic striker and Gedion Zelalem is brilliant. Think I'm done now! Hopefully this career mode works for you.

How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Just played a kick off friendly match using Wimbledon just to see if I should start a career with them. I liked them, as any League 2 team they need improvement but overall I liked them. Their away uniform is much better than their home uniform. I might use the away kit more often than the home kit. What I was very disappointed with though, is that the commentators didn't have anything to say about the team. In fact, they didn't even say the name in the beginning. Pretty whack. Regardless, I think I'm gonna give them a go. I'm going to restrict my transfers to only English players and surrounding countries. The only transfer I have in mind is Max Clayton from Crewe Alexandria. In FIFA 13 I brought him into my Leeds career (my longest career ever, accidentally deleted) he failed to impress but I figured he'll have more room to shine in League 2 until he can grow.

Anyone know any good free agents? I hate that with the global transfer network I can't see their stats. AFC Wimbledon held trials for free players (since this is a team built by fans they don't have the funds to purchase, so they held try outs and signed free agents) so I'm gonna try to do something similar by signing free agents. Any recommendations?

Carlos Fierro from Guadalajara. 70 overall at just 18 years old. Speedster trait, naturally a striker, the position in which he shines with the Mexico youth national teams, but since his club already has too many strikers he's used as a winger. In my Guadalajara career he doesn't grow very fast, but I'm assuming EA slowed his growth due to his overall and age. Once he turned 21 his stats began to improve each month. I'll post his stats later on if interested!

Thanks. It's half term in England where I live so there is a lot more time to play and get through quickly. FA Cup Final and Champions League final are going to be difficult. Man City in the cup and Chelsea in Europe. Surprisingly, 3 of the 4 semi-finalists were from the BPL.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've had exams but I finished them so I can play more

                                PSV

We had a game straight after the window against Cambuur.

                                PSV 0-2 Cambuur

This game was frustrating. Their defence was strong throughout the whole game and we couldn't break it down. We tried to cross it, use pace, pass it but just couldn't break Cambuur defence down. Cambuur scored in the 34th minute after we had all our players attacking which resulted in them countering giving them the 1 on 1 with the keeper who slotted it under Zoet. They scored a second in the 59th minute when they crossed in a inch perfect low cross for the easy finish after Willems made a mistake. (Sorry can't remember the scorers)

After the International Break we played Groningen

                                Groningen 0-0 PSV

We played our second team, still strong but not the best. This was due to our next game that was in midweek. The game was quiet boring with both teams having their chances. Our defence was a little bit shaky without Bruma, but keeping Rekik in the team (he was the only first 11 player in the starting 11 for the game) was the reason why we kept the clean sheet (blocked 2 shots on target) I put on Depay and Locadia to try and get a late goal but it was too late. I was happy we kept a clean sheet after we had let through 7 goals in 3 games.

The next game is going to be the biggest game in my short career when we face Barcelona in the Champions League (Hence the reason why I rested my team).

                                My group is:
                                Barcelona
                                Man City
                                Basel.

It's a tough group but if we can cause an upset against City or Barcelona and beat Basel twice, we could make it to the round of 16.
