Cheers, mate. Had a feeling it would go down well here. Didn't gather much interest anywhere else. Speaks volumes about the boys on here, proper career mode nuts!

Thanks, mate! Loving your West Ham adventures, nice to see you doing so well with the actual team. I recently moved to the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow myself and think it's amazing. I've got Milner converted to CM, Redmond converted to CAM, and Sako converted to ST. Excellent stuff.

He's ridiculous anywhere in midfield TBH, especially in a formation with three or more central players (4-1-2-1-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, etc). Never used him in a career, though.

WARNING! The journey you are about to embark on is going to be unique. There is no way back, if you click the "Spoiler" button. Please, for your own health and safety, talk to your nearest doctor about entering Season 2 of "Phil against the World". If you feel any experiences of addictiveness, heartache, amnesia or any other medical issues, take a chill pill. However, I will mention this once more, that once you press that "Spoiler" button, you are in for good, there is no turning back, you are stuck there. Forever.

Glad you've found it just as useful as I have! When you have the right personnel for it, a la your squad and my West Ham team, it really is a fantastic formation.

                    Sent To Coventry
                    Season 3
                    FIFA 15

Coventry gain financial backing from American billionaire

Newly promoted side Coventry City FC have been taken over by American billionaire and basketball side Cleveland Cavaliers owner, Daniel Gilbert. The American has been looking to expand his franchise into the biggest sport financially in the world and saw Coventry as the team to do so. Identifying them as a team on the rise with their promotion and their season in the European spotlight he was eager to invest his money into the side. With a net worth of over $4.3 billion, the man has money to burn and is eager to give the funds for whatever is necessary. His first action was to give the side £31.1 million in a transfer budget and £200,000 in wages to spend.

                    Stadium is sole Coventry ownership

Coventry City FC stadium the RICOH Arena has been bought by Dan Gilbert. The stadium was previously in joint ownership between the side and the Wasps' rugby team, despite being based in London, a move which was greeted with outcry from fans of both teams. The new deal means Wasps will move stadium back down to London while Coventry will continue to play in their home stadium.

State of the Art Youth Academy set up by American owner

Plans for new youth facilities have gone through for Coventry City. The new area, planned to contain between 6-15 depending on size and an indoor pitch with an artificial surface, will be situated not far from the RICOH. The Alan Higgs Centre, previously used by the club, is happy and not angry by the departure. The new facilities, along with the pitches, will include a gym and weights room, treatment area, hydrotherapy area and restaurant along with much more. It can also be used for the senior team as a training ground, allowing the youth to see the professionals at work. The Academy and Training ground is hoped to be completed by the start of the 2017/18 season and will be on par in terms of facilities with the best in the world, Liverpool, Southampton, Ajax, Barcelona, Feyenoord, Bilbao and is based on the 5 star facilities owned by Sunderland.

                    Transfers IN:

                    Gary Gardner: Pre Contract Agreement
Ben Davies: £4.8 million from Sours
Kieran Trippier: £3 million from Burnley
David Marshall: £2.6 million from Cardiff
Will Hughes: £7 million from Derby
Emyr Huws: £4.7 million from Wigan
Harry Maguire: £3 million from Hull
Liam Moore: £4 million from Leicester

                    Transfers OUT:

Ryan Allsop: £1.35 million to Elche

                    Match 1

                    Coventry 1-1 Swansea
                    Rudy 73 (OG)
                    Ki 83

In our return to the Premier League, 15 years after last playing in the division, we welcomed the most successful Welsh team playing in the English football league. The grass of the RICOH Arena pitch was glistening with a soft wet from the sprinklers as the teams lined up to start the season. Swansea and Coventry both had a fair share of possession, both with a similar way of playing, possession. The newly promoted side took the lead, Gary Gardner curling the ball goalwards and it took a lethal deflection off of Rudy to find the bottom corner. However, Ki equalised, smashing into the top corner from just outside the box exploiting the space. 1 point in the first game.

                    Match 2

                    West Ham 2-1 Coventry
                    Huws 28
                    Carroll 34
                    Zarate 90

We took the lead against the Hammers, now in their new stadium, the Olympic Stadium used in the 2012 Olympics. It was their first competitive fixture in the ground and we looked to spoil the party, Huws heading in from a corner. Carroll got West Ham back level, powerfully heading in at the back post. As the rest of the game played out as a tight affair, a cross was whipped in in stoppage time and Zarate's diving header found the back of the net off the post.

                    Match 3

                    Coventry 1-0 Norwich
                    Davies 55
We took the lead against the Canaries early in the first half from a corner. The ball was whipped in and Davies found space unmarked to head into the top corner. Norwich barely threatened and to be honest, neither did we. Our first win of the season.

Can't say I don't love the idea of Gilbert being the new owner. But I hope when you have a player you want to leave, you must treat him like Lebron did when Cleveland. But I would have went somewhere more realistic for choosing a new owner. Or gone the former all route, ala David Beckham. Who I would have went for because he actually just bought a team and is putting them in FL somewhere. Don't remember if it's the Orlando team or Miami. But seeing as neither is in the game you could have gone with Becks.

Good point. I don't really know a lot about Basketball so I didn't know whether he was well liked or not. I just browsed through pages and pages of rich lists, found someone who has a sports franchise and went with them. I have a storyline panned out anyway, it just will take a while to kick in and I read about the LeBron thing and I already had that idea in mind. I hope you will still enjoy because he wont be making many appearances

Outstandingly good read. Long post indeed, but well worth the time. It looks like it's a lot but once you start reading it you're surprised to see when you're already at the end, that's how well it hooks you in.

Indi the philosopher? Lol with your permission, I might just take the second part of that quote ("Without control...") and post it on my board in my office. When I read through that part the first thing that came to my mind was the moment when I confront a dishonest customer (ie. thief) to make the apprehension. Never know how they are going to react or what they are going to pull out from their pocket, which is why you have to be in control and make the move first.

                            Thanks for the post!

Man of the Match: Lee Angol

Sorry about no match reviews but I was a bit stuck for time tonight.
Craig is on an brilliant run of form at the moment with 3 goals in 3 games and Angol in his first match in the team scored from RM.

Thanks, mate. Glad you enjoyed reading it! And yeah, feel free to take the quote. I'm actually quite chuffed that it applies to your work so accurately, so yes, do feel free to use any part of it!
