Btw Keano, your updates are really good. I love the images you put indicating the competition the match was in. Keep it up. And tell your brother to hurry up and give us an update. I want to laugh at Everton.

I think its something to do with either:

        1. A youth player promoted and you are still playing with Bilbao.

        Or more likely,

        2. You've started a player career with Bilbao.

I am not the biggest fan of these be a pro/my player careers but that was interesting to lead. If you do the updates in this format I will enjoy following your journey.

Hmm... a mediocre team and it's colours are red and white. I really want to say Liverpool but if it's a Premier League team I will guess it is Southampton Or maybe it is Stoke or Sunderland?

Jamie, that was a good one Because you found out my secret you will lose your PSN account and I will steal your bank card. And that is the real prophecy.

So right now there are three volunteers for a potential Skype group.

I don't know if this could help but I think someone had a problem with posting and they needed to post four or ten posts before being able to use photos. Maybe tell your brother to try replying to someone?

I felt like an idiot when I read your post and completely missed Bilbao. I decided to read the post again and he says that he dreams about wearing the England jersey. That means he couldn't play for Bilbao unless he has Basque heritage we don't know about. Man, I like overthinking stuff and creating crazy theories.

I got this nagging feeling that he started with Cardiff City but then again he did say that it was his "dream" to be a striker for a big club so maybe he's on a League 2 team perhaps

If you got a good amount of money for RvP I think it was wise selling him but I disagree with selling Rooney. He has become a big piece of Man United and the club won't be the same without him but you probably had a good reason to sell him. I haven't used Neymar so I can't say anything about him but I love that you signed Lacazette. If you have been here for long enough you will know that I had him in my Hertha career (before it was mainstream buying him) and he was a real monster. If you use him correctly he will do wonders.

When I was reading your post I was thinking about why didn't you sign defenders but then you wrote that you will be looking at them so I don't have anything to say about that. If you have a lot of money you could try to sign Hummels or someone from Bayern. If you have about fifteen million Varane could be a good signing. He has been a favourite of mine since FIFA 13.

The PSN is still not working for me. Hopefully it will start working soon.
@Simppu yeah I have seen you and moose use Lacazette. I have taken a lot of heat behind the Rooney saga. But it was getting overwhelming trying to work him in the lineups. He was getting a little bothered and Bayern really wanted him throwing some huge money at him. We sat down and weighed the options, the club wants to get younger for serious Champions League runs with some good young talent. He has a lot of football left in the tank, so we said let's let him go, it was a win win on both sides. I tell you it was a tearful press conference when Rooney and the club said their goodbyes.

I will definitely look at those options on defense. I go and check out Bayern, them and Barco have tremendous depth of talent.

                      Thanks Simppu.

wanted to take the time today to at least reply to the end of your awesome Wimbledon career, as many may know the inspiration for my Dagenham CM. It was really awesome to see that you were able to win a trebble before ending this awesome CM. Nothing like a PK's filled final, I bet the feeling was similar to what I went through with Alcorcon against Barcelona in my first Copa Del Rey final (also a W!). You were in charge in the league during most of the season and were able to win it for a 2nd consecutive year which is also an amazing feat especially considering you brought a team from the ground up (and let's not forget your roster restrictions)! All in all, once again you continue to set a pretty high bar for the rest of us and I applaud you for having one hell of a career, looking forward to the next one!

                              League Cup Round 2

                              Newcastle 1-0 Oldham
                              Gouffran 103
                              Simmed.

                              Match 4

                              Southampton 2-0 Newcastle
                              Tadic 7
                              Davis 90

We got absolutely battered in this game, Tadic opening the scoring early on knocking into the bottom corner from just outside the box. Southampton kept piling on the pressure and eventually we conceded again, Davis smashing into the corner after beating Steven Taylor for pace, not a difficult task.

                              Match 5

                              Newcastle 0-0 Hull
A drab affair that I shall not bore you with details of.

                              League Cup Round 3

                              Newcastle 2-1 Everton
                              Barry 6
                              R. Taylor 36
                              Gouffran 87

                              Baines missed pen 82
We did it. A win! Barry headed in the opener after being left unmarked in the box before Ryan Taylor curled a free kick into the top corner to equalise. When Anita bought down Eto'o in the box with 5 minutes left, I thought it was over but Krul saved Baines penalty and we were swiftly at the other end of the field. The ball was played cross field to Gouffran who curled into the bottom corner to win the game.

                              Match 6

                              Stoke 2-1 Newcastle
                              Whelan 25
                              Diouf 63
                              Cabella 66

Gutted. Whelan opened the scoring when a comedy of errors allowed him to dribble straight into the box and smash into the top corner. We attacked relentlessly but Begovic was unbeatable and before we knew it, Diouf had headed into the top corner. Cabella equalised soon after, beating a defender with a roulette before curling into the bottom corner but we couldn't find an equaliser.

                              Match 7

                              Swansea 1-0 Newcastle
                              Dyer 23
We came up against Keano's Welsh wonders in this match and right from the offset, they proved how much better they were. Shelvey had a header ruled out for offside before Bony hit the bar with a header of his own. They finally beat Krul, Dyer nodding in from a low cross that was too low for anyone else to head away. We fought for an equaliser but the closest we came was Cisse hitting the back of Williams head.

                              Match 8

                              Newcastle 1-1 Leicester
                              Nugent 25 (PEN)
                              Aarons 45

                              Simmed.

                              Match 9

                              Tottenham 1-0 Newcastle
                              Soldado 45
We played well in this match, only conceding when Soldado beat Janmaat in the air at the far post to nod in. Cabella had his shot saved while Sissoko couldn't find the net, hitting the bar twice and Lloris played like a god.

                              League Cup Round 4

                              Bournemouth 3-3 Newcastle (5-4 pens)
                              Stanislas 24
                              Obertan 37
                              Wilson 62
                              De Jong 63
                              Stanislas 103
                              Perez 114

                              Simmed.

                              Match 10

                              Newcastle 2-2 Liverpool
                              Santon 24
                              Lucas 46
                              Sturridge 71
                              Cisse 76

Santon opened the scoring in the match, stroking into the bottom corner after beating Johnson and Toure for pace. Lucas equalised soon after half time, Collocini getting the ball caught under his feet and Lucas was able to stroke in easily. Sturridge then made it 2 for Liverpool, running clear to curl into the bottom corner. We managed to rescue a point though, substitute Cisse breaking past Skrtel and smashing the ball into the roof of the net.

                              Match 11

                              West Brom 2-2 Newcastle
                              Riviere 14
                              Ideye 38
                              Varela 66
                              Tiote 90

This game was the epitome of all things wrong with my team so far this season. Riviere gave us the lead, stroking in easily before Ideye won a header to equalise. Another header conceded. He then won a penalty and, hope! Varela hit the post, but the ball bounced out, hit Collocini on the heel and fell back to Varela's feet to curl in. BULL****! We won a penalty soon after, Cabella steps up, and puts it wide. We then win another penalty. Sissoko steps up, and puts it over. BULL****! We finally equalised and salvaged a draw in a game we should have won 4-1 when Tiote smashed into the top corner, obviously frustrated with the BULL**** way the game had turned out.

                              Match 12

                              Newcastle 1-0 QPR
                              Perez 31
A win! HUZZAH! Perez got the only goal, knocking in on the rebound after his intital shot was saved by Green.

                              Match 13

                              West Ham 0-0 Newcastle
We dominated this match but we couldn't score. That's the long and short of it.

                              Disappointing. #RelegationZone

Hope you enjoyed the 3 month update. My late Christmas present to you guys.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

And so ends one of the truly great careers of this thread. Chico's reign at Wimbledon outlasted several dozen other careers, and we can only sit back and congratulate you on one of the most outstanding examples of club stewardship. Winning the Champions League and Premier League in one season is a tremendous way to sign off, and I'm sure you'll be loved at this club forever more. That said, I can't wait to see what you get up to next. It'll be a challenge to dive into it with as much enthusiasm as you did Wimbledon, but you'll get there.

As for my new career, the only thing I've decided is I'm going to play 4-4-2. Beyond that, I'm having trouble choosing a club. I know a lot of you say that sides in the lower divisions are more rewarding since you build your team from scratch, but I don't think that sort of career is for me, not now anyway. I don't really like fielding a team of 86-rated players for £40 million, but I lack the patience to work a team up from the third and fourth divisions.

I want that to change, especially since the PS4 makes this game so amazing, so I will pick
(and stay with) a League One team later on in the season, most likely Notts County or Preston. But for now, I think I'll go with one of the more vibrant top-flight sides. Below are the club's I've shortlisted across Europe, and the foundations for the storyline I will use if I pick them.

                                1. Burnley: They have a good foundation and British talent, but need quite a bit of work before challenging for silverware. Their location in Lancashire means success can draw fans from all around Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.

                                2. Malaga: It's time to get rid of Sheikh Abdullah and his torment, including the abomination that is Roque Santa Cruz. The best seaside city in Spain, the crown jewel of the Costa del Sol Malaga deserves more success than being cheated by UEFA.

                                3. Genoa: The oldest club in Italy was founded as England's footballing outpost in the Mediterranean. Along with most other Serie A clubs, they now have a new stadium to help revive Italian football. Success will stay true to the club's roots.

                                4. Eintracht Frankfurt: The biggest team in Germany's greatest city will leverage their resources to enter a spell of success. What's the point in having such a good location if you don't make the most of it?

                                5. Bordeaux/Nice: Euro 2016 has been awarded to France, and both clubs are getting new stadiums. Bordeaux is urban without being hectic, while Nice is an incredible seaside town
― both the kind of places rich footballers would love to live.
