I felt like an idiot when I read your post and completely missed Bilbao. I decided to read the post again and he says that he dreams about wearing the England jersey. That means he couldn't play for Bilbao unless he has Basque heritage we don't know about. Man, I like overthinking stuff and creating crazy theories.

Oh, you're asking for my opinion? That's nice, I appreciate it. So, let's see. If you got a good amount of money for RvP I think it was wise selling him but I disagree with selling Rooney. He has become a big piece of Man United and the club won't be the same without him but you probably had a good reason to sell him. I haven't used Neymar so I can't say anything about him but I love that you signed Lacazette. If you have been here for long enough you will know that I had him in my Hertha career (before it was mainstream buying him) and he was a real monster. If you use him correctly he will do wonders.

When I was reading your post I was thinking about why didn't you sign defenders but then you wrote that you will be looking at them so I don't have anything to say about that. If you have a lot of money you could try to sign Hummels or someone from Bayern. If you have about fifteen million Varane could be a good signing. He has been a favourite of mine since FIFA 13.

The PSN is still not working for me. Hopefully it will start working soon.

@Simppu yeah I have seen you and moose use Lacazette. I have taken a lot of heat behind the Rooney saga. But it was getting overwhelming trying to work him in the lineups. He was getting a little bothered and Bayern really wanted him throwing some huge money at him. We sat down and weighed the options, the club wants to get younger for serious Champions League runs with some good young talent. He has a lot of football left in the tank, so we said let's let him go, it was a win win on both sides. I tell you it was a tearful press conference when Rooney and the club said their goodbyes.

I will definitely look at those options on defense. I go and check out Bayern, them and Barco have tremendous depth of talent.

AFC Wimbledon 3 - 0 Crystal Palace
WIM: James 12' 25' Thompson 66'
First versus last and the team in first showed why there are eighteen teams in between them. The result was exactly what Wimbledon needed as Manchester City continue to win as well. Luke James was able to break away from Everton's Vietto on the top scorer table as well with these two goals. Vietto also scored in his match so James only has the 1st place for at least one more week.

AFC Wimbledon 4 - 0 QPR
WIM: Eaves 9' 81' 90' Ortiz 17'
Chavez has finally figured out how to adjust the B team with the new players, and it looks like he has decided to use a 3-5-2 formation (2 CDMs 1 CAM). The Wimbledon B team completely dominated QPR from beginning to end Diego Ortiz returning to a wide position where he had the room to show off his incredible ball skills. He may not be one that can sprint to the end line and cross the ball, but if you give him the space to shoot he will punish you for it. Tom Eaves also had an incredible match and got himself a hat-trick. Mario Ruiz looked a little disheartened to be demoted to the B team, but his morale has improved greatly now that he's playing in his natural CAM position instead of the RDM position he was playing with the first team.

AFC Wimbledon - Manchester City
First vs second. Only 1 point is what sets these two teams apart. The winner of this match will most likely lift the league title at the end of this month with only a few games left to go. Manchester City have been in impressive form which led them to jump over Chelsea in the league table and now be right behind Wimbledon. Wimbledon have had great results this month, but it's been against two teams in relegation zone. When these two teams faced each other six months ago it ended in a 1-1 draw, but in previous seasons Wimbledon have never had any problems from the Citizens.

AFC Wimbledon 3 - 0 Manchester City
WIM: Odhlambo 13' James 20' 81'
Nobody was expecting this match to be this one-sided, but it happened. Youth graduate and England international Richard Odhlambo scored the first goal with an amazing one touch finish in the box. Luke James finished off City with a brace that further improves his chances of winning his first and Wimbledon's third BPL Golden Boot. Manchester City game was disastrous. Not only on the scoreline but on the field as well. The Citizens managed to get only 1 shot in the entire match and that shot was off target. City's top scorer Karim Benzema played the entire second half of the match and although his presence definitely improved City's game he wasn't able to make an impact either. The Wimbledon players were well aware that this was an important match and they played a perfect game.

Reading 2 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: Murphy 39'
REA: Akpan 45' Tanner 70'
The last scheduled match for the Wimbledon B team this season and they still played horribly. Josh Murphy scored the first goal with a great driven shot after being played through on goal by Tom Eaves, but the team fell apart right after that. The match was very important for Reading and they were extremely motivated on the pitch pressuring high the entire match. Reading's first goal actually came as a result of high pressuring. The captain Akpan rushed an unsuspecting Craig May after Adam Cowie passed the ball to him, intercepted the ball and in one touch shot towards goal to beat an out of position Cowie. The Dons were never able to recover from that and ended up giving the match away as a defensive mistake allowed Tanner to take a shot on goal and score. This result has put Reading out of the relegation zone with a 3 point difference and only two matches left to play. If they can just hold on to those points for two more weeks they will avoid relegation. For Wimbledon, this defeat allowed Manchester City to close in on them once again. Could this be City's second chance to lift the title?

AFC Wimbledon 2 - 1 Southampton
WIM: Odhlambo 14' Clayton 80'
SOT: Reed 17'
Southampton really made Wimbledon suffer and in the end it was Max Clayton, the impact sub, that changed the game and gave Wimbledon the lead. Richard Odhlambo opened the scoreline with a perfect shot from outside the box, but Southampton's Reed equalized only 3 minutes later with an impressive goal. Wimbledon goalkeeper John Ruddy parried a shot and the rebound went straight to Reed. Instead of taking the shot first time, Reed lifted the ball with his foot and then executed an amazing scissor kick into the net. After that Southampton played very similar to Reading and pressured Wimbledon high preventing the Dons from advancing on the field with possession. The draw would have allowed Manchester City to go over Wimbledon with 2 points and with only 1 game left in the season that would have meant City were inevitably champions, but Max Clayton refused to let that happen and scored almost the exact same way he scored on Barcelona in the Champions League last month.

Sunderland 0 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: James 35' Vergini OG 90'
Sunderland started the match with great defending but Wimbledon controlled possession the entire time. It was only a matter of time until Wimbledon would be able to break through the back line and at minute 35 Thompson sent Luke James a through ball leaving him free with only the goalkeeper in front. James was patient, waited for the goalkeeper to come out and then chipped the ball over him! The goal secured the Golden Boot for Luke James and it was also his first chipped goal. The match stayed the same with Sunderland defending really well and Wimbledon controlling the match. In the final minute of the match Michael Thompson took a powerful shot towards goal but the ball bounced off Vergini's knee and changed the ball's direction leading to Wimbledon's 2nd goal.

AFC Wimbledon Win Barclay's Premier League Title!!!

Champions League Final
Real Madrid 2 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: Murphy 8' 77'
REA: Morata 36' Isco 71'
The fans at the Imtech Arena were taken completely by surprise when AFC Wimbledon scored a goal in barely the 8th minute of the match. Tyler Harvey had made a run from midfield to the right wing where he crossed it and found LAM Jacob Murphy who didn't hesitate and took the volley. The ball hit Carvajal in the head and went into the net beating the goalkeeper Muslera who had already made his dive. The game was extremely tight, Real Madrid playing fast, counter attacking football with a 4-3-3 Holding and AFC Wimbledon trying to push Madrid back with a 4-3-3 Attack. The game didn't really start until the 36th minute though when Morata headed the ball past Wimbledon goalkeeper Ruddy and equalized the match. Game on. The Wimbledon fullbacks did a spectacular job neutralizing the Madrid wingers Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard, but Ancelloti was aware he couldn't break Wimbledon through the wings and instead had his team attack through the middle which is where they found the most success. At minute 71 Real Madrid's CDM Cristante sent a through ball over the Wimbledon defenders and found Isco wide open with nobody near him. Isco kept his calm and took a well placed shot to Ruddy's left corner giving Madrid the win. Wimbledon had less than 20 minutes to equalize and Chavez immediately ordered his players to push forward, paying little attention to the risks involved. It paid off six minutes later though, when Wimbledon launched a counter attack. Max Clayton sent Luke James running with a lobbed through ball and James beat Carvajal, the last defender, with his body right before bringing the ball down with his foot. Luke James was left one on one with Muslera but Jacob Murphy came to his aid sprinting into the box shouting for the ball. James obliged and Murphy was able to take an uncomfortable shot into the net equalizing the match! The match wasn't over though and both teams threatened each other but the second half ended 2-2. Extra time was still very tense, but only Wimbledon looked dangerous up front. Real Madrid mostly sat back waiting for the counter attack but Wimbledon didn't attack that much either, since Real Madrid has defeated them with a late goal more than enough times. The extra time finished 2-2 and the champion would have to be decided by a penalty shootout.

Penalty Shootouts have never worried Chavez, as in his 7 seasons with Wimbledon he has only lost 1. This was against Real Madrid though, one of the best teams in the world. To top it off, Wimbledon's main penalty taker Richard Odhlambo was no longer on the field, having been subbed off in the 70th minute of the second half. Wimbledon's penalty takers would be Mannus, Vincent, Paterson, Clayton, and finally Luke James.

Round 1
Eden Hazard stepped up to take the first penalty and he defeated Ruddy by shooting it high and slightly to the left while Ruddy stayed in the middle. Next came Wimbledon's home grown Ruaidhri Mannus who beat Muslera with a well placed shot to the left.
Real Madrid 1 - 1 AFC Wimbledon

Round 2
Next up was Kun Aguero for Real Madrid. The Argentinian took a powerful shot towards the top left corner but John Ruddy reached and denied it! Now came another Wimbledon youth graduate Shaun Vincent with the opportunity to put Wimbledon ahead. Vincent took a placed shot to the right and Muslera dove left!
Real Madrid 1 - 2 AFC Wimbledon


Round 3
Third on the list was Welsh superstar Gareth Bale. Bale shot the ball looking for the bottom left corner but again John Ruddy denied the shot!! The crowd was wild and so were the Wimbledon players as they watched from midfield. Now came Callum Paterson. Paterson has been receiving criticism lately as his form has dropped but now the 2018 World Cup golden bolt winner had a chance to extend Wimbledon's lead. Paterson ran up and took the shot as we expected, strong and low, to the left but Muslera dove to the right! Wimbledon are close to the title!
Real Madrid 1 - 3 AFC Wimbledon


Round 4
All eyes on Isco. If Isco misses the penalty Real Madrid will be out. Ruddy stares down his opponent, piercing through him. Could Ruddy block three in a row? Isco takes two steps, shoots left, but Ruddy dives to the right! Madrid are still alive. Now it all comes down to Max Clayton. If he scores, the Wombles are the UEFA Champions League champions. Clayton shoots right, Muslera dives left, the ball goes in. Wimbledon are the Champions of Europe!!

Ben McGovern - CDM (66-70, 88-94) (OVR +3): The Northern Irish 17 year old has been in the academy for two seasons already but may not be called up until after the next transfer window. If he demands to be called up at anytime he will be promoted due to his loyalty.

David McIntyre - CDM (66-69, 87-93) (OVR +13): 16 year old from Scotland has improved greatly since signing with the academy, but truth be told the club has plenty of youth CDMs already. He may have to wait another season in the academy.

Jacob Sercombe - CDM (64-72, 86-94) (OVR +14): The 16 year old from England has decided to settle in midfield. I was hoping he would choose CB since we have loads of defensive midfielders in the academy. I'll decide if he gets called up in the next months once I get a better picture of his overall.

*Juan Maresca - LM (50-66, 77-94): This Mexican winger looks very promising. The team needs wingers so he could be receiving a good opportunity next May or maybe even earlier depending on how his overall turns out to be in the future academy reports.

Kyle Clarkson - LW (60-64, 80-86): I'm disappointed at his May boost. This kid from England is only 16 though so I think he can spend another season in the academy. He's still too slow for a winger.

Mal Osborn - RB (63-67, 80-86): This speedy English right back has been promoted. He has 80+ pace, 75 ball control and dribbling and 75+ crossing, but his defensive stats are terrible. Looks like I have a new RM for the B team then

Sean Archer - CDM (66-70, 85-91): The 17 year old from Scotland is a playmaker and may be promoted next season. His mental stats are great, but his defensive and physical stats are lacking. If he demands to be called up he will. If not, I'll give him another season in the academy.

Sebastian Torres - LW (63-69, 85-94): The 16 year old from Mexico has recently joined the academy. He has decided to play mainly as a winger but he may be used as a striker instead due to his height of 6'2".

**Todd Zebroski - CDM (66-70, 80-86) (OVR +4): 16 year old playmaker from England has decided to leave the academy.

Tyrone Kedwell - CM (59-63, 77-83) (OVR +3): I'm not gonna lie I signed him immediately because of his last name - Kedwell. Could he become a club legend like Danny Kedwell? I sure hope he can live up to the name. In the meantime, I think he should spend another season in the youth academy.

May Headlines

AFC Wimbledon Champions!!!
The biggest news this month is of course AFC Wimbledon's 2nd consecutive Barclay's Premier League title. The Dons also won the Capital One Cup for the second time in a row as well. It took the Wombles three years to win the Europa League, and it took them just 2 years to win the Champions League, establishing themselves as not only the best team in England, but the best team in Europe now as well.

John Ruddy: Champions League Hero
There is much speculation about whether or not Ruddy will be retiring next season, but for now the only talk there is is about his amazing performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League final. Ruddy only made 1 save in the 120 minute match and he received two goals, but in the penalty shootout he blocked two of Madrid's shots which ultimately led to the title. The 33 year old goalkeeper has had a rejuvenating year. He was playing at West Bromwich Albion who at the time were in 16th place in the FL Championship. The goalkeeper was already considering retirement when out of the blue AFC Wimbledon comes down with an offer to buy. He accepts, and in 6 months he's won the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Champions League.

Reading's Battle With Relegation
Another team that has received a lot of attention this month is Reading, the team that finished in 17th place this season. The relegation battle was tight all season but even more so in the final month of the season, where even in the last league match all four teams at the bottom of the table had a chance at survival. The Reading fans and players were pumped up and motivated and upset the top of the table team AFC Wimbledon 2-1 when everyone expected Wimbledon to win. The three points would prove vital. In the final match of the season, Reading needed to win. A defeat would mean relegation and Norwich City would survive instead due to goal difference, or QPR/Crystal Palace depending on their results. A draw would make them depend on Norwich City's result. Only a win would guarantee survival but unfortunately for them their final match was against one of the big clubs in England: Chelsea. Once again as underdogs, Reading surprised everybody and defeated Chelsea 1-0. With this incredible result, Reading escaped relegation despite being in the bottom three the majority of the season.

BPL Manager of The Season
The Manager of The Season award has been given to AFC Wimbledon's Chavez for a second time in a row. The Mexican-American manager has not only had a successful season, but a successful career as well achieving fantastic things with the Scotland National Team and AFC Wimbledon. With the Dons, Chavez has won the League 2, League 1, Capital One Cup, FA Cup, Community Shield, Barclay's Premier League, Europa League, and the Champions League. The only competitions that Chavez was not able to win was the J. Paint Trophy, Copa Europe, and the FL Championship finishing in 2nd place in all three competitions.

The Player of The Year award has been given to Chelsea's Jovetic. I lack the knowledge to tell you why in the world it was given to him.

AFC Wimbledon Player of The Year

AFC Wimbledon has announced Luke James as the Womble of The Year. The striker from England had huge shoes to fill after Terry Gornell left and passed the torch on to him, but he stepped up and made Gornell proud. Last season James had 22 Goals in all competitions. This year he broke his mark and netted 34 in all competitions winning the Golden Boot in the league and being a joint winner for the Champions League Golden Boot. Terry Gornell still holds the record for most goals scored in a single year at 37 goals, but James came mighty close to reaching it just 3 goals away.

The End Of An Era

This morning the Wimbledon manager Chavez has announced that he will be stepping down from management. Chavez leaves the institution after 7 wondrous years in which AFC Wimbledon rose from the ashes and not only achieved their revenge against the FA, but also became one of Europe's best. We've seen Chavez change over the years. From the respectful, calm pioneer that took the League 2 by surprise, to the passionate, strong leader that stormed through the Premier League often extremely vocal from the sidelines. The change came mostly during Season 6, where we saw a different Chavez, a much more tired and stressed Chavez, almost pulling out his hairs with every goal received. Many believed that he would be resigning that season as he looked extremely frustrated and it reflected off the players as well. Suddenly, he looked reborn and much louder, leading the team to his first Premier League title, the Capital One Cup, the Community Shield and the FA Cup all in one season. When we asked what sparked the change that saw him climb out of the hole he was in, his answer was that it was all thanks to The Great War of 2014. We had no clue what he was talking about but that was Chavez. Sometimes referring to other football managers we had never heard of such as a bum from Texas, a Rabbit, Jamie, Ganchev, Keanu Reeves, and a blue Indian among other names that we had no record of. When it came to football he knew what he was talking about and that was all that mattered though. Here is his official statement from today's press conference:

"It was a hell of a ride and I enjoyed every second of it. From preparing for matches against MK Dons all the way to preparing for Barcelona and Real Madrid. Wimbledon and it's supporters gave me an unforgettable opportunity which I will be forever grateful for. I have given this club everything I have, all the knowledge I possess. I think it is the right time to step down. I know that the club will continue to lead the way for English football without a problem.

I would also like to thank the players for always playing with their hearts. In this journey I've encountered a lot of players that truly blew me away. Players that no one had ever even thought to look at and they became superstars. Our amazing youth academy and staff, who always included the club's values and history in the development of players such as Richard Odlhambo, Michael Thompson, Mario Ruiz, Adam Cowie, Shaun Vincent, Scott Moore, and Ruaidhri Mannus among many others who even at their young age showed the maturity and passion that this club demands.

Most importantly, I must thank you: the reader. You who has been with me every step of the way offering me your insight, support, and constructive criticism which always motivated me to keep going. The people of this forum is what made this career. You enhanced it and made it much more enjoyable. When spicing up matches against MK Dons for example back when I was in League 1 and 2, I was even more passionate about winning it not only because I hate everything they stand for, but also because I knew that I couldn't come back here and post that I had lost. Since he debuted with us he was playing extremely well getting several clean sheets, but last month he accepted a 1-year contract extension that would see him go down to "Squad Rotation Player" and ever since then he hasn't been the same shot stopper. I'm expecting him to retire next season, but if he's still playing better than Cowie he will continue to be starter.

RB - Elliott Hewitt (c) (Wales) (81 OVR 25yrs) (+3): 9/10

I can always depend on him, and that's why he took the captain's armband after Gornell left. He wasn't the daredevil he was last season, but he was still very solid in defense so I can't complain too much. Before he and Paterson frequently swapped positions but this season he stopped taking so many risks. Perhaps it was because of the maturity the armband brings. Either way, he will continue to be an important player for us.

Very solid defender both in the air and with the ball on the ground. Hardly made any mistakes this season.

Also very solid in defense but one of his strengths is also his weakness: his aggression. We hardly get any red cards (it's FIFA 14) but whatever we did receive they were most likely all his. I'm not too bothered by it though, every team needs a player with a heavy foot. Even his clean tackles are strong he's scared me many many times in the box when I'm just waiting for the referee to call a penalty but it ends up being a clean tackle. He will remain an important player next season.

LB - Jack Robinson (England) (82 OVR 26yrs) (+3): 8/10

Very solid at the back and he is always at the right place in attack to support the LM. He doesn't have CB listed as a secondary position, but he never failed me when I had to move him to LCB in emergency situations such as Baldwin receiving a red card. He has the Tackler trait so he was hardly ever beaten in a one on one. One of his best moments was running from his position all the way to the middle of the opponent's box off the ball and then finishing the play with a goal. That goal was against Barcelona.

RDM - Tyler Harvey (England) (79 OVR 24yrs) (+3): 9/10

I should've had this guy with the first team since the very beginning of the season. He's been with the club since my first season in 2013 and he's been a starter the whole time, until Ruiz and Odhlambo came up from the academy and took the two midfield spots. For the Barcelona game I benched Ruiz and put Harvey instead and man he made a huge difference. I really like Ruiz but he's too lazy defensively to be in a two man midfield. The B team really missed Harvey as Harvey controlled the midfield and also scored many important goals. He will stay with the first team and may even inherit the #10 jersey after losing his #7 to Odhlambo. He was Midson's partner in midfield for years and Midson was the original #10 before Gornell. For his loyalty even after being demoted to the B team, I think he deserves it.

When he played next to Mario Ruiz he was mostly a recovery midfielder and his playmaking from the midfield line was vital to our game. Now that he's with Tyler Harvey, he has a lot more liberty to move up and he's been scoring goals for us from outside the box. He is extremely important to our game and will continue to be next season.

RAM - Callum Paterson (Scotland) (78 OVR 25yrs) (+1): 7/10

He joined the squad after winning the 2018 World Cup Golden Boot and he was given the #9 jersey. Unfortunately he wasn't able to play well next to Terry Gornell and lost the spot to Luke James. It was hard finding him a spot on the field but he has done well as a wide midfielder. He has ST, RM and RB listed as positions so he can play anywhere down the right wing. He's very fast and very strong, as well as +90 jumping stats so he's a tank. He'd be perfect to play as a lone striker but unfortunately I have too many strikers to do that. His form went down this season, but he'll stay at RAM for at least another year. One thing I really like is he always tries to get into the box and shoot whether it's with his head or foot.

LAM - Jacob Murphy (England) (82 OVR 25yrs) (+2): 8/10

Another club veteran, as he's been here since my first season and he's been a starter every season. He has the dribbler trait and he's very fast, but he hardly makes any runs down the sideline. That was one thing I very much disliked about him and almost considered benching him, until I realized that he plays best as a creator instead of a sprinter. That's when he started to excel on the field. He's been here as long as I have and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon.

RS - Luke James (England) (81 OVR 25yrs) (+3): 10/10

He really stepped up after Gornell left to Celtic, becoming our top striker and one of our hardest workers. Definitely learned a lot from Gornell. He will not be replaced.

**An Exciting Prospect
For a youth player that was only promoted 1 season ago, this guy impressed me. He played one season on loan at Birmingham City scoring 4 goals in 4 appearances, and this season he started off phenomenally with the B team leading to his promotion to the first team. He has a good long shot and his lob passes are almost his trademark. In the matches where we went a man down I kept him alone up front and he never stopped pushing forward always threatening with his strength and shot power. I know he will only get better and better as the years go by.

He's a very solid defender and never gave me any problems since bringing him to the club. He's mostly defensive minded, but he played LB with the B team most of the season and never failed. Now that I'm using a back line of 3 he's playing more in the center but he's still playing really well.

Don't be fooled by his overall, this CM has an 88 in standing tackles and 80+ marking making him extremely difficult to get past. He played most of the season at RB, and after the Barcelona game he became a regular sub with the first team which lessened his playing time with the B team. His outstanding defensive stats make him a great player to have on the bench so next season he will have a greater role with both the B team and the first team.

**An Exciting Prospect
After seeing him play with the B team he made me wonder if Odhlambo was just always covering his mistakes with the first team. Explains why Odhlambo doesn't get tired as fast now that he's playing with Harvey. Ruiz is slow, lacks sacrifice, and I'm not sure if he will stay with the team next season. He was really good with the first team but he has been lacking with the B team. His morale improved a lot now that he's playing in his natural position but I'm not sure his performances has justified his starting spot with the B team. He's been a regular with the Mexico national team for some time now, but I'll have to review my options with him. If he stays with the team he'll probably be benched, but I don't think he'd make much of an impact coming on as a sub.

RM - *Diego Ortiz (Mexico) (78 OVR 21yrs) (+3): 7/10

On paper he's one of our best players, but his lack of speed and stamina keep him from being an effective winger. He has amazing skills on the ball but he's pretty inconsistent too. He always has low morale, so I might loan him out next season and hopefully his physical stats will show improvement while on loan.

LM - Josh Murphy (England) (71 OVR 25yrs) (+1): 7/10

Jacob Murphy's twin brother. He hasn't been as great as his brother and his overall is much lower, but his speed and placement make him good enough to start with the B team. At one point I had to use him with the first team due to injury and he did really well there too. His overall doesn't show it but he's a good squad player to have.

His speed is phenomenal, but unfortunately that's all his game is. He's a starter with the B team but he's a very important substitute with the first team, although with the first team he plays as a winger instead of his natural striker position. His morale was much better this season so I plan to keep him in the team.

He had a rough start to the season but he found his form again once he returned to the B team. This season he was the kind of player that could be having the worst match of his career and suddenly come out with a goal. As a substitute he didn't deliver results either. I am considering transferring him and instead promoting a striker from the academy to play this role.

Some of you may remember Vincent from earlier in my career. He was a starter in my 3-1-4-2 but after switching to 4-2-2-2 he wasn't able to deliver anymore. I think he has earned another chance with the B team, so next season I will try him out in the CAM position with the B team.

His overall is a little misleading since his defensive stats are quite poor for a CDM. He has the Tactician trait though so he's great at intercepting plays. He was used mainly as a sub for the B team but at the end of the season he started for the B team since I was giving Scott Moore more minutes with the first team. Next season he will play the same role unless his defensive stats improve significantly.

Richards has been with the club since the beginning of my career, but I feel it is time I let him move on. There was one season where his discipline was poor, but after loaning him out he came back with a much better attitude. Nothing like a PK's filled final, I bet the feeling was similar to what I went through with Alcorcon against Barcelona in my first Copa Del Rey final (also a W!). You were in charge in the league during most of the season and were able to win it for a 2nd consecutive year which is also an amazing feat especially considering you brought a team from the ground up (and let's not forget your roster restrictions)! Lucas equalised soon after half time, Collocini getting the ball caught under his feet and Lucas was able to stroke in easily. Sturridge then made it 2 for Liverpool, running clear to curl into the bottom corner. We managed to rescue a point though, substitute Cisse breaking past Skrtel and smashing the ball into the roof of the net.

This game was the epitome of all things wrong with my team so far this season. Riviere gave us the lead, stroking in easily before Ideye won a header to equalise. Another header conceded. He then won a penalty and, hope! Varela hit the post, but the ball bounced out, hit Collocini on the heel and fell back to Varela's feet to curl in. BULL****! We won a penalty soon after, Cabella steps up, and puts it wide. We then win another penalty. Sissoko steps up, and puts it over. BULL****! We finally equalised and salvaged a draw in a game we should have won 4-1 when Tiote smashed into the top corner, obviously frustrated with the BULL**** way the game had turned out.

And so ends one of the truly great careers of this thread. Chico's reign at Wimbledon outlasted several dozen other careers, and we can only sit back and congratulate you on one of the most outstanding examples of club stewardship. Winning the Champions League and Premier League in one season is a tremendous way to sign off, and I'm sure you'll be loved at this club forever more. That said, I can't wait to see what you get up to next. It'll be a challenge to dive into it with as much enthusiasm as you did Wimbledon, but you'll get there.

As for my new career, the only thing I've decided is I'm going to play 4-4-2. Beyond that, I'm having trouble choosing a club. I know a lot of you say that sides in the lower divisions are more rewarding since you build your team from scratch, but I don't think that sort of career is for me, not now anyway. I don't really like fielding a team of 86-rated players for £40 million, but I lack the patience to work a team up from the third and fourth divisions.

I want that to change, especially since the PS4 makes this game so amazing, so I will pick (and stay with) a League One team later on in the season, most likely Notts County or Preston. But for now, I think I'll go with one of the more vibrant top-flight sides. Below are the club's I've shortlisted across Europe, and the foundations for the storyline I will use if I pick them.

1. Burnley: They have a good foundation and British talent, but need quite a bit of work before challenging for silverware. Their location in Lancashire means success can draw fans from all around Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.

2. Malaga: It's time to get rid of Sheikh Abdullah and his torment, including the abomination that is Roque Santa Cruz. The best seaside city in Spain, the crown jewel of the Costa del Sol ― Malaga deserves more success than being cheated by UEFA.

3. Genoa: The oldest club in Italy was founded as England's footballing outpost in the Mediterranean. Along with most other Serie A clubs, they now have a new stadium to help revive Italian football. Success will stay true to the club's roots.

4. Eintracht Frankfurt: The biggest team in Germany's greatest city will leverage their resources to enter a spell of success. What's the point in having such a good location if you don't make the most of it?

5. Bordeaux/Nice: Euro 2016 has been awarded to France, and both clubs are getting new stadiums. Bordeaux is urban without being hectic, while Nice is an incredible seaside town ― both the kind of places rich footballers would love to live.
