Man it was looking like a great month and then boom Liverpool came up. You just know it's gonna be a terrible match when you're already the underdog and then they score pretty much right after kickoff. At least you were able to take a point from Tottenham though. Losing to West Ham was another downer but you'll have your revenge next month. Looking forward to the transfer window! I hope you can bring in enough depth to climb up to that Europa League spot.

I completely fell apart in that Liverpool game, they just destroyed me. I'm looking for 9 points next month and that should get me to at least 6th but hopefully 5th. I'm looking for a pacey striker, (hopefully Ings) a good back up keeper as Tremmel wants a loan, (Hopefully Schmeichel) and a solid CDM, (I may get Rabiot/Roberto in on loan to be more attacking and then play Canas as the holding CDM, like Matic and Fabragas, Canas looks to have the best defensive stats of my current midfielders.) If I have enough left over I will try and get a better CDM.

Yeah that's pretty much how I do it. Sleep time and work time it's off. Anything else it's on standby unless I know I won't be able to play it again the rest of the day until tomorrow.

I read about the PSN name changing and it makes sense. I actually didn't know what griefers were, I usually just labeled them as douches, but I see how they could benefit from name changing. Hope they don't take too long adding that feature I would like to change my name as well.

Sucks to read that the YA glitch is still harassing you. I'll try reading up on it and see if I can find anything helpful. Have you tried firing all your scouts and seeing if that helps at all? I would say to get rid of all the players in your YA too but you can't even access it. Do you still get the monthly YA updates through email?

No I haven't tried that. From what I've read people phoned EA and said they know of the glitch and are "looking into it". Basically they won't do anything because they won't make any money. I still get the updates but as soon as I enter the game crashes.

Amazing start to the season! First season in the Premier League and already an undefeated month! After I saw Wilson score a hat truck against Hull I thought Wilson would actually win the Anyone But Wilson Award lol I agree with choosing Jamieson though. He may not have scored many goals but he scored an important one. Getting a win against City shows you have what it takes to play against the top teams in England. I don't think you've already covered this but I see some players are missing from your youth academy and you've been getting great results sooooooooooooo what formation did you end up choosing??

The last game of the Champions League group stage saw Manchester United beat Valencia and continue their 100% win run. The game was pretty even and both keepers made a few impressive saves. At the end the winning goal was scored in the last ten minutes by Karim Benzema who cut in from the left and shot the ball into the top right corner. In stoppage time Roberto Firmino scored from a pass in the box. Next up: Schalke.

Manchester United came into this game looking for a win in front of Arsenal's fans at the Emirates Stadium. The game was even and both teams had a lot of chances but at the end it came down to a defensive mistake by ManU. Ten minutes before the end Raheem Sterling scored from a counter attack. Ten minutes later Nemanja Matic received a very slow pass but he failed to control it which lead to Giovani Dos Santos equalising.

A very surprising draw at at Sunderland and then a bit of bad luck with the last minute equalizer at Arsenal. But other than that a dominant month! Treble here we come!

I like your transfer targets particularly Schmeichel. I've never used him, but I remember I couldn't score on him when I played Leicester. Leicester ended up selling him a few weeks after our match, didn't replace him, and were relegated that season. If you bring in Ings will you continue to run a 4-2-3-1 or will you play Bony and Ings together?

No I haven't tried that. From what I've read people phoned EA and said they know of the glitch and are "looking into it". Basically they won't do anything because they won't make any money. I still get the updates but as soon as I enter the game crashes.

Yep you got that right. As long as there's nothing wrong with FUT they won't go out of their way to resolve the issue. They already have our money so it's mission accomplished for them.

I can only imagine the shouting you gave Matic when it happened. On the bright side you have a comfortable advantage on the league table so the draw shouldn't hurt too bad. By the way did you ever check how Hellas Verona did after you left?

Hey, I'm a demanding manager and I'm managing the biggest English club. Of course draws against a bottom four team like Sunderland is unacceptable.

I will do my best to describe what happened. I passed the ball to Matic who was my last man in front of the defence. The pass was a typical 1.5 bars of power pass to a target that wasn't moving. The ball hit him and bounced a foot or two in front of him. At this point I thought to myself: "They'll score, won't they?". Arsenal's player got to the ball and played Dos Santos through on goal. My keeper got a touch on the ball as it bounced off him to the back of the net. I was pretty pissed off.

I haven't checked how they're doing since the end of the season. They finished the season in 8th place.

When you play with a team for a long time of career mode do you start to follow them in real life. I directing this towards the people who do low league teams and not teams like Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd even Newcastle (sorry Jamie)



For example I did a long Career Mode with Bradford in FIFA 13 and check how they go once in while, same with Nottingham Forest and Wolves. (where I did unsuccessful career modes with them last fifa)

I used to do that where once I start a career with a team I follow their twitter page to see how they're doing in real life. I stopped doing that after a career I made with Bilbao because I felt like reading so much about them and then using them on FIFA burnt me out faster. The only team I can do that with is Guadalajara but that's because that's the club I'm actually passionate for.

Now with Wimbledon, I don't follow them but I do check on how they're doing every once in a while. I'm pretty big on only following one club though and that's Guadalajara.

That used to happen to me a lot but only with Jacob Murphy before he got into the 80s. I remember one match where I gave him an easy pass with him near the sideline and he just stared at the ball as it rolled in between his legs and out of bounds. I can't remember who the other team was, but they ended up scoring on me on the play following that throw in. I was so pissed.
