Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Very nice transfers, I like them a lot but like Jagger I feel like you should've let Williams retire at the club. Especially Bernat looks very interesting because I haven't seen anyone use him in career mode. Good results, as well. You should be able to beat Lazio in the Europa League. Looking at how you're doing right now you might have a chance on winning the league.
I just want to point out that mister Corleone of Manchester United is the real special one who also blames referees (and he has been pretty much always very self-confident like Mourinho). All of you are just wannabes who are just envious because I'm a successful manager who does well everywhere and you can only dream about having a squad like mine. Just kidding.
I have a game or two left in November and I'll play them now. The update should be up before six GMT.
Haha. We'll see how well you do when you return to Verona and with Bulgaria in the WC!
Looking forward to the update!Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
FC St. Pauli
FIFA 15 - Season 2
Die Freibeuter der Liga
January Transfer Window
With St. Pauli currently defying all expectations, they decided to go for minimal changes in this transfer window. Reports have them adding just one player, and agreeing to future deals with two others. The biggest news of the window has been more about who is on their way out though. Star striker Christopher Nöthe is rumored to have been sold to English side Bournemouth. Tex Bumosix is building the team in his image, and the fans are starting to learn not to question his transfer moves, even if they involve sending one of your best strikers out mid-season.
Transfers Out
Christopher Nöthe - €900K to Bournemouth
Lukas Hartmann - Loaned Out
Odisseas Wolf - Loaned Out
Transfers In
CB, Johan Hammar - €190K from Malmö FF
Johan Hammar spent time in both the Malmö and then the Everton academy in his youth days. He never made a senior appearance for Everton and was released in 2013 before moving back to his childhood club, Malmö. While not the most skilled player on the pitch, he is known for his exceptional size. Standing at 6'6", he is a very imposing figure on the back line. His size and strength might be enough to get him some chances on the pitch, but he will have to bring his skills up to par if he wants to stay there.
CB, Lasse Sobiech - Pre-contract agreement from Hamburger SV
Lasse Sobiech is a player that St. Pauli is very familiar with having spent two recent loan spells at the club in 2011/12 and in the 2014/15 season as well. He came through the Borussia Dortmund academy featuring in several matches for the second team, but never making an appearance with the first team. He later joined St. Pauli's rivals, Hamburg SV, and spent a loan spell with St. Pauli during that time. He is a another defender with size, standing 6'5" and has a knack for winning the ball in the air. He is likely to be in contention for one of the two starting spots next season.
LB, Niko Gießelmann - Pre-contract agreement from SpVgg Greuther Fürth
Niko Gießelmann came through the Hannover academy eventually making 73 appearances for their second team, but never appearing in a match with the first team. He moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in 2013 where he became a consistent choice in the team. With Buballa putting in extensive time at left back, and van Nieff doing double duty as the back up along with his midfield responsibilities, left back was a position where more depth was needed. Gießelmann will fit nicely into the team, and with time could put up a good challenge to Buballa for first choice.Last edited by texasbum06; 01-22-2015, 03:17 PM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Much closer matches than normal this time, but still dominating the competition. Keep it up man! Good to see Çiftçi on top of the scorers list!
Amazing month up until those last two matches, but I'm thrilled you got the England job! Good to see my Northern Ireland boys giving you a tough time too. You're starting to create some separation at the top of the league now and I think you shouldn't have a problem holding Chelsea off. Aston Villa on 3rd though haha?
Good stuff as always! You write so well, it's like reading a story. Keep it up and I can't wait to read more!
Nice transfers, I like seeing you bring some Spanish players back to Spain. Also getting yourself a token Mexican for your squad. What an absolutely stunning two matches against Barca! Amazing, it's great to see you advance like that. Your squad is playing so well right now, and Guillermo of course continues to score as always. If you can take down Barca, you can take down Villarreal!
Sorry to hear about the corrupted file, but I'm glad one of the back up saves ended up still being there. Wow, Ogude is going to be a beast. I bet you can't wait to get him into your squad. He's going to a giant too, 6'1" at 15 yrs old is massive, and he is going to grow even taller once he turns 16.
Lots of good signings, and wow you got some steals on a lot of those transfer numbers. You're off to a strong start in league play too, scoring goals at ease. Hopefully this will be your year!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Glory Glory Man United
November 2017
Manchester United 2 - 0 Aston Villa
Lacazette 29', 56'
Simulated.
Swansea City 0 - 3 Manchester United
Bale 32', 90', Sterling 45'
"The boys performed very well once again. We controlled the game and didn't gave Swansea much space and our attackers had a good game. Gareth (Bale) continues to impress and I'm really glad that we signed him. He's winning some games just by himself which is amazing."
Manchester United 2 - 0 Norwich City
Lacazette 53', 81'
Simulated.
Ajax 1 - 4 Manchester United
Serero 53'
Benzema 7' Bale 37', 60' pen, 88'
"We have been terrific in the Champions League and winning this game meant that we are through to the knock-out stages. Ajax didn't have a chance as we controlled the game. I can't describe how amazing Gareth (Bale) has been in the competition. He has annihilated almost every defence and he has eight or nine goals already. I think he'll break the record of most goals in the Champions League."
Derby County 0 - 1 Manchester United
Vidal 90'
"I'm very disappointed in our performance today. Derby isn't a good team but they kept the score on level for almost the entire game. Arturo (Vidal) did a good job to get the winner in stoppage time. Maybe we underestimated Derby before the game but we can not afford to play like this."
Quarter Final
Manchester United 5 - 1 Oxford United
Bale 23', Firmino 95', 111', Lacazette 104', 114'
Heskins 82'
"I'm not sure what to think about our performace in the game but I'm glad that we made it through to the semi final. The first ninety minutes were pretty poor but the last thirty were great. We showed our amazing counter attacking skills in three of the five goals but our defending was bad. We need to play much better to beat Chelsea in the league in a few days. Our next opponent in the cup is West Brom and I'm sure we'll beat them with at least three goals."
Player of the Month
Gareth Bale
This is getting predictable now. Let's see... Gareth Bale had another great month in which he controlled the attack of Man United. He scored six goals and he did a good job in every game. You know, just like every month.
Hot or Not
Hot
Gareth Bale
Like in every other month so far he's the player of the month. Enough said.
Alexandre Lacazette
Alexandre Lacazette makes his first appearance on the list after having an impressive month with the second team of Manchester United. He scored five vital goals and he assisted the second goal in the game agaisnt Oxford. The French attaker continues to prove why he's the second-choice striker of the team.
Arturo Vidal
The Chilean midfielder played a big role this month in the midfield and he scored the winner against Derby County. When Vidal wasn't on the pitch the midfield of the team wasn't as strong. Vidal defended, attacked and passed well in this month which earned him a place on the list.
Not
Karim Benzema
Last season's superstar Karim Benzema is having an on-off season for now. In some games he plays amazingly and in some games he doesn't do anything except lose the ball and pass it around a few times. November was one of the those months for him and he found the back of the net only once.
Nemanja Matic
The holding midfielder of the team didn't reach his normal level in this month. He wasn't solid in defence, he was sluggish and sometimes he was caught out of position. If he wants to stay in the first team Matic needs to find his form, especially with Junior Malanda getting more and more playing time each month.
Sergio Ramos
The Spaniard was far from his usual self this month. He wasn't as good as before in defence, he gave away a couple stupid fouls and he's the reason why Oxford United equalised the game in the Capital One Cup.
Champions League Group
1. Manchester United, 12 pts
2. AC Milan, 11 pts
3. Ajax, 4 pts
4. Bröndby IF, 1 pt
Premier League Table
1. Manchester United, 36 pts
2. Chelsea FC, 31 pts

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Simp - oh look, you won every game comfortably, are moving on in both cups you're playing in at the moment and lead both your champions group and the league? You're so boring with your all-star team (I hope you don't take this seriously and enjoy my sarcastic complements)
Tex - I hope you will try to get Hammar out on loan. While his size is excellent his skills are probably not good enough right now for him to contribute for you. If he can be developed he could be a steal though. Nice to see you hanging around the Top 6 in your first season in Bundesliga, Borussia look like they have a strong team.
Keano - your updates have so many visuals! Liking the signings, especially Bernat's. Looks like you have a future star in Berahino and you're off to a perfect start this season. Keep that going as long as you can!
Howard - sucks that your file was corrupted, as I understand it you ended up simming the tournament? It's understandable, hopefully the torneo inicial goes better for you. Wouldn't kill you to get a better GK and a lot of the guys listed in the "team of the competition" are guys who turn out to be studs. Get Centurion if you can. Also congrats on the Scotland gig.
Indi - wouldn't mind seeing you back with Brighton. It's the most memorable CM you've had IMO.
Chico - I hate you sometimes. Takes me forever to beat Barca and you handle them in your first season. Thanks for showing me up. Never wanna hear you complain about my Boca signings again since I see you're doing the same for ChivasRamirez has decent potential so I hope he develops for you.
Cruzzer - sorry that I can't follow your CM right now, I'm sure the stories are awesome but I must confess I'm speeding through y'all updates. Once you get into the season I'll be able to follow better. Keep it up though.
Falaph - You're just cruising right now. What difficulty do you play on? 20 clean sheets in 23 games is just ridiculous.
Jamie - you're doing great things over at Newcastle though it sucks to see you lose a close game against West Ham in the FA Cup towards the end. On the bright side you can have your main guys more rested for the league and Champions and I think you can pull off that that treble! Congrats on the England gig!vrabbit

Bringing him and Sobiech in gives me two giants back there though, so hopefully he can develop and become good enough so I can get them out there together and not have to worry about crosses.Last edited by texasbum06; 01-22-2015, 03:16 PM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Indi - I vote Sunderland, as they definitely have the budget to make some improvements sooner rather than later, plus with the size of stadium they have it would definitely make for some quality European nights. Not to mention the huge rivalry prospects in matches against Newcastle.
Keano - Some serious quality signings. Great upgrades in terms of the back line, with Reid definitely offering a lot of security and Clyne is fantastically OP at right back. Definitely expecting a lot of you this season. Will you try to win the Europa League or focus more on the BPL and try to earn as high a finish as possible? Or do you think you have the squad that can do both haha?
Cruzerr - Great updates so far, really enjoying the writing, it's creating a good story. However, get some games going man! You're gonna be in season 1 into FIFA 16 at this rate haha.
Jamie - Come on West Ham! That said, you're definitely doing great things in the league and in the Champions League so I'm sure the FA Cup is the least of your worries at this point.
Falaph - Not hating (even though it is Millwall so I am hating) but doesn't it get boring winning every single game in that fashion? I enjoy your updates but want to see some more competition!
Simppu - Your team is sickeningly good... and I mean that in a good way. I think you should cruise to a bunch of titles this season, no question.
Chico - Great result knocking out Barca... although if you keep up this promotion form they may have some revenge in store for you in La Liga next season!
Tex - Playing well above your level so far, keep it up! With the fans that St. Pauli have, they would be unbelievable in some European nights, Ciftci has been coming up huge for you like he seems to do for everyone in career mode haha!
Whew, finally caught up! Apologies if I missed anyone, I will try to comment on your next update.Check out my Pitt Panthers Dynasty (NCAA Football 14)

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
January Transfer Month
Since I was low on funds, I was willing to negotiate with about anyone if an offer came in. At first I got 2 offers, 1 for a 36 year old Sebastian Romero, sold him for 70,000 which the board gave me 60,000. The second was for Sergio Hipperdinger. The offer was $750,000, since I was told he was probably worth somewhere between $800,000 and $1,000,000 i countered for $950,000. The re countered for $825,000 so i re re countered for $900,000 and then for them to re re re countered again for $850,000 i stood firm for $900,000 since he is only 23 and is in excellent form. not to mention my leading goal scorer and assist getter. they gave up. I then got a third offer for Miguel Montano from Hamilton for $190,000, i countered for $200,000 they accepted then i received $160,000. I felt I didn't need a major overhaul this season. I had players at most positions. So i just brought in a young RB on loan for $750 in wages, his OVR is 58. As it stands I nly have $170,000 in transfer budgets and $3,658 in wages. I tried to sell my RM Nicolas Cabrera and my ST Gonzalo Klusener but no one bit.
Other Transfers
Real Madrid: Karim Benzema ----> Manchester City for $57,000,000
Manchester City: Edin Dzeko ---> Borussia Dortmund for $30,000,000
Juventus: Paul Pogba ---> Atletico Madrid for $26,500,000
AS Roma: Leandro Castan ---> Newcastle United for $24,000,000
SL Benfica: Nicolas Gaitan ---> Valencia CF for $22,500,000
Manchester United: David De Gea ---> Juventus for $18,000,000
VFL Wolfsburg: Ricardo Rodriguez ---> Sevilla FC for $17,500,000
Stade Rennais: Ola Toivonen ---> Genoa for $13,500,000
Dinamo Moskva: Alexandr Kokorin ---> Marseille for $13,000,000
Seattle Sounder FC: Obafemi Martins ---> Malaga CF for $11,500,000
Real Sociedad: Zurutuza ---> Swansea City for $8,500,000
River Plate: Teofilo Gutierrez ---> Hamburger SV for $7,000,000
Sporting CP: Cedric ---> Sunderland for $5,500,000
Newcastle United: Fabricio Coloccini ---> Hannover 96 for $5,000,000
West Bromich Albion: Jonas Olsson ---> Queens Park Ranger for $4,900,000
Plus numerous other deal but those are the big ones I suppose but here are the bosman deals (why is it called bosman? i never figured that out)
CSKA Moskva: Seydou Doumbia ---> VFL Wolfsburg
Fulham: Bryan Ruiz ---> Cagliarl
Lokomotiv: Dame N'Doye ---> RCD Espanyol
A Total of $117,850,000 was spent during this window.
SpoilerChelsea: Oscar ---> Manchester City
Next update will be February games plus squad report and a scouting report from Chile
After I sim the end of the transfer period, of course I get a training injury from Joel Carli, He tore his Hamstring and will be out for 6 weeks.
