EDIT: Got it. Accrington! still waiting for an update on that one too *cough Cathal cough*
Look like you've got yourself a nasty cough there.

Don't worry an Accrington update is coming your way today.

And right now I have to say my Accrington career is far more interesting.
Although I hate to say it my Villa CM is losing its touch, even though I've just begun the journey.
If I don't resign as Villa boss in the coming days it will definitely be at the end of the season.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but don't blame me, blame ChicoBass. lol.

Anyway I'll probably make a decision tomorrow (it's 11 a clock at night in the UK) and report back soon enough.

Just as the saying goes out with the old and in with the new, which is pretty much the theme of career mode.
      I've made a decision:

I'm going to stop my Aston Villa career to focus completely on Accrington.

Sorry to any followers of the career and any Aston Villa fans.

League 2 is the place for me.

I recommend Montpellier. While it is a first division team in Ligue 1, they fell after they won the league. You could rebuild them.

Brighton's a great club, but get down to League 2!

                  Accrington Stanley Monthly Update

Well usually I would say that the transfer window is a thrilling time of year for a manager, but in reality the most thrilling thing that happened to me in the window was feeling the remote control vibrate several times on transfer deadline day. None the less here are the few ins and out (all of which temporary) of the summer transfer window.

                  Summer Transfer Window:

                  In:
LW- Vettraino- (53) - season long loan
CB- Bently - (51) - season long loan
                  Youth Scout - 1* 1* 50k sent out for 3 month to England (50k)

                  Out:
ST- Jenkins (50) - season long loan
ST- Hazelfine (52) -season long loan
ST- Carver (54) - season long loan
CM- Windass (50) - season long loan

The reason I did these transfers was for depth we had an amazing 8 strikers only one LM and 3 CB's. There should be more action in January either signing players on pre-contracts or promoting youth graduates.

Well here's where it gets interesting the August Results I will include my starting XI and the league table below these results.

                  Torquay United 2-0 Accrington Stanley

Accrington Stanley 4-3 AFC Wimbledon (Capital One Cup)

                  Accrington Stanley 3-1 AFC Wimbledon

                  Fleetwood 0-3 Accrington Stanley

                  Accrington 2-0 Cheltenham

                  Northampton 0-0 Accrington Stanley

A very good month including back to back wins against Chico's Wimbledon.
We got 2/9 points from the simulated pre-season friendlies.
Our key players have been Dnny Webber, Dean Winnard and Marcus Bettineilli (on loan from Fulham)
Also I noticed when I arrived that 18 players have expiring contracts.
We have drawn Leister City in the Capital One Cup.

                  Standings:

                  1st: Portsmouth 15 (points)
                  2nd: Hartlepool 13
                  3rd: Southend 11
                  4th: Chesterfield 11
                  5th: ACCRINGTON 10
                  6th: S****horpe United 9
                  7th: Cheltenham 9

BTW the board's goals for me are to avoid a finish in the bottom half of the table a.k.a avoid relegation.
My own goal is to get promoted, let the good results keep on going.

                  Here's my My Starting XI:

                  GK: Betinelli 60
                  RB: Buxton 57
                  CB: Aldred 58
                  CB: Winnard 57
                  LB: Wilson 60
                  RM: Hatfield 57
                  CM: Clark 57
                  CM: Miller 59
                  LM: Mingola 57
                  ST: Webber 62
                  ST: Odejayi 60

That's it for now on my first update. I hope you enjoyed it.
Any feedback, suggestions, advice or criticism appreciated.

I'll suggest Swansea. They have a good squad and a small budget with a few positions that need improvement. Hull City would be a challenge as they have only few good players and their budget is bad.

Seriously, though. Leicester/QPR/Reading have excellent budgets for second-tier clubs. Swansea is an option in the top flight, you could sell Bony after a season and fund some good purchases. Moose is doing West Ham, but Cardiff and Hull look good. Cardiff especially has some great players in Caulker, Medel, Mutch and Marshall.

It'd be interesting to see a West Brom CM, they may be a challenge, or Cardiff as Indiblue said, or Hull as Simppu said.

                            PRESS CONFERENCE:

Q: Vladimir, how do you think your team did this month?
A: We did poor. We actually lost a game in this league.
Q: Who do you have to blame for that?
A: Every player on this team. I am the best player on this team, and I'm 23 years retired!
Q: So, do you think you're the worst team in the league?
A: No, I think we're the least worst in the league. There is no best. It's least worst. If I had to say the least worst I would have to look over to Stoichkov and Bristol. They're a joke.
                            Q: So you're saying you think they're a joke?
A: I don't know, go back and listen to it on you're recordings. Yes, that is what I said. If you can't follow along, get out.
Q: What makes Bristol a joke?
A: For one, Hristo Stoichkov is their manager. For two, he kicked Shaquille Hunter off the team for behavior issues! He was one of their least-worst players! Who gives a rat's as* how he acts? Does that stop Balotelli from playing?
                            Q: Anything else on Stoichkov?
A: How about he should've never managed. Left it as a player. Even as a player he liked to stir the crowd. Now he's doing it as a manager.
Q: Well, it seems like you're stirring the crowd as we-
                            A: I DONT GIVE A FLYING FU*K WHAT I'M DOING, IT WORKS!
                            Q: Sorry..
A: You're fired. Get out. NOW!
Q: Do you consider yourself rivaled to Stoichkov?
A: Yes, let the rivalry begin. Let's see who can get their team to the PL faster... I'm in.
Q: Do you think you can achieve PL status?
A: Well, not with this team. Like I said, I'm the best player out there. To become better we need money. Every week every player and coach and manager and board member gets into the lottery to see if we can maybe get more money for our club. Success starts at the board. If they can give me money, Vlad will succeed.
Q: Anything else you have to say?
A: Stoichkov for groundskeeper, Orlov for president. Have a terrible day.

Was that good enough Simppu? Hahah.
That's it for this month, another update soon... TEX YOU ARE MY NEXT TARGET. Anything you want me to specifically talk about?

BBC: What will you bring to this team?

Me: Good Football. I want to first get promoted straight away then win trophies at this club and my goal is to achieve it.

Reading Post: the team has made some good moves in the transfer window already. Are you going to make many more.

Me: We have a very strong squad. I am happy that many of the players stayed after the relegation. I still feel we need more players to improve this squad and to cover the players who have left the club.

Sky Sports: We are hearing that you are going to change the captaincy. McAnuff has been a great server for the club. do you think this will affect the chemistry?

Me: Firstly; Jobi (McAnuff) will still be our club captain. I want him to stay at this club until he retires, he is a great leader and for what I have heard a great person. However, we do have a leadership squad and due to the many game we face this season the armband will be given to players in the group.

                              Me: Thank you for coming.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Just a heads up, this will be quite long.

So starting with the friendlies my games were against Atalanta, Genoa and Bordeaux. I only played the first, recording a 5-0 victory. All I remember is Locadia got 2 and I couldn't really be bothered to play the other two so simmed them, beating Genoa 2-0 and losing against Bordeaux 2-1.

                                Bundesliga

                                Bayern 2-2 Freiburg
Gotze and Thiago for the Champions whilst Sneijder and sam scored for me

                                Hannover 0-4 Freiburg
Sneijder grabbed 2, Sam scored again and Niang got his name on the scoresheet.

                                Freiburg 1-1 Bor. M'gladbach
Locadia gave me the lead before Luuk De Jong equalised just before the break.

                                Hamburg 1-3 Freiburg
Cahnanoglu scored in the 3rd minute off a rebound to give them the perfect start and they carried that through until half time. I started the 2nd half well and was rewarded when Ginter headed home from a Sneijder corner in the 52nd minute. I then made an inspirational substitution bringing on Mlapa for Locadia. He scored with his 1st touch in the 75th minute before assisting Sneijder to kill the game off in the 82nd minute. An excellent win on the road against a tough opponent.

                                Freiburg 1-1 FC. Koln
This was an odd game. I went in to it expecting to win and my thoughts became reality when Locadia grabbed his 2nd of the season with a fantastic run and finish into the far corner in the 35th. All the way until the end, the stats showed that I should have been about 6-0 up but I never felt fully in control. I was then punished by a tidy finish in the 82nd minute by Marcel Risse, meaning I dropped valuable home points against a side that I should have beat.

                                Table after 5 league games:
                                Bayern 13 points
                                Leverkusen 13 points
                                Wolfsburg 10 points
                                Schalke 10 points
                                Freiburg 9 points
                                Frankfurt 9 points

An unbeaten month with games against tough sides like gladbach, Hamburg and of course the league leaders. I will now look to press on and change those draws into victories.

Summer transfers: My main buy was Sneijder for £12.5 million but I also indulged deeply into some quality squad players. Sidney Sam, M'Baye Niang and Stephan Sama all joined for reasonable fees whilst I also bought in a couple of youth players from my previous job. I signed a a regen winger Ontivero for 4 million who is a good back-up option and also loaned in Levin Oztunali with an option to buy, and Serge Gnabry who was my only deadline day deal. jetro Willems was also bought in for cover a LB, one a couple of 'future stars' at the club.

Summer outings: Nobody of any real importance left, with my only departures being some dead wood still in their from the 2nd division spell and a couple of youth players I signed on who have gone on loan.
