Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
@Chicobass a lot of people I know have moved to ps4, when you get it let know how setup is. One of my friends had trouble getting his online to sign him in properly. I am trying to see which system I would move to, when I am able to make that move. But right it seems way away for me.
Interesting. I haven't read any reviews on the console itself. I should probably do that. I owned the PS3 and 360 at the same time at some point, and I ended up liking the PS3 a lot more and since then I've been a Sony guy lol I know that now to play online you have to subscribe to Playstation Plus, but from what people have told me it's a great deal to subscribe to it even if you don't play online. By the way any of you on PS4, do you need Playstation Plus to download latest squads or can you still do that without Plus and just connecting to WiFi?Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
@solarios thanks man do you get a link for it and copy the link in?
@chicobass yeah I was really leaning towards ps4 earlier today but after my friend was trying to get his sign right for the last two days ( especially after trying for three hours first night and five hours yesterday and still having a few problems today with error messages I was like WOW.
In breaking news fron Empoli there may be a late developing story, but speculation has started brewing. It was a rumor last night, but after tonight there may be a change coming. We will keep you updated on this developing story.Currently playing: (In order of Most Time)

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Been following this thread for a few weeks now. Really enjoy the English league CM's and a few of the others, too.
I've been playing as Plymouth Argyle in League 2. Did the transfer window in the summer to bring in some depth and bolster the attacking situation. I simmed until the winter window to see how the team was doing, 12 points ahead of second place. I made a few signings in the winter, brought in a few guys on loan from a few BPL clubs and bought a few other free agents. I've nearly bankrupted the budget, but the guys that will be running out of contract are those I am fine with or are already on loan elsewhere.
My best find so far has been a young striker from Norway, Bard Finne. He's been an absolute beast for me up front. Tim Payne, a free agent find with tons of potential has been another hidden gem that has played well all season.
I'm currently up 19 points going into the third game of February. Looking to stay up front and gain promotion and hopefully a few pounds to spend on some defensive help and a few other strikers. If it works, I'd love to keep Finne to go along with Lee Kuen Ho who I found as a free agent. Would be nice have those two, add a few defenders, and an attacking midfielder at a low cost. I have a goalie coming in from Swansea who will be a great backup for a season before taking over the reigns in the starting lineup. Ideally, it'd be nice to get a scout and start a youth academy, too.
Probably won't post a whole lot, but I've been having a blast with this team that I've created. Just hope I get a good chunk of funds at the end of the season to help in the transfer window.
Really enjoying the CMs everyone! Thanks for sharing your careers.Teams:

I wouldn't let that push me away too much. When stuff like that has happened to me in the past, it's always been a problem with my internet (for example I forgot to pay it and it got cut) instead of a problem with the console. If it was a huge issue, there would be complaints about it everywhere but instead, I have yet to read anything bad about the new console. I've read about bugs and glitches in the games, but nothing about the console itself. I would have to get more details about the issue before letting it affect my judgement first, but that's just me.
Perfect thanks for the reply! Plus sounds like a good deal, although I don't know if I would be playing those games too much since I tend to play just one gem at a time. Buddy of mine said it was only $50 per year and most of what you get from it can be accessed on the PS3 too as long as it's signed into the same account. I wouldn't mind getting it myself.Comment

Great choice with Plymouth! I signed Tyler Harvey from them in my first season with Wimbledon and he's been a key player for me. Do you sim matches only or play a few?Comment

I love the transfer watch feature of your career. I hope you wouldn't mind if I added it into my careers around transfer windows. I am trying to add things that have been seen as enjoyable in other peoples updates, such as my incorporation of the youth academy in Liverpool and press conferences in CoventryComment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Aston Villa Career Mode
August Update
Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa
Stoke dominated possession during the whole game and won a penalty in the 30th minute where debutant Diouf stepped up but Guzan saved it and in my first game in charge I won a point and a clean sheet. The defence showed alot of character getting bombared by Stoke's attack line.
Aston Villa 2-2 Newcastle
(Agbonlahor 24', Grealish 90')
(De Jong 17', Cissé 74')
My first home game didn't start well with Newcastle's captain De Jong spliting my defence to score his debut goal. However, Agbonlahor scored a header 7 minutes later to tie the game. in the 74th minute a low cross ended with a Cisse diving header giving the magpies the lead. I was fuming due to the previous attack where Agbonlahor was tackled from behind in the penalty box but nothing was called. In the last minute though 19 year old Jakc Gealish beat two defenders too place the ball passed Krul to rescue a point on my home debut.
Liverpool 4-0 Aston Villa
(Assaidi 13', Balotelli 50' 70' Lucas 90')
The surprised starter for Liverpool in Assaidi scored the opener when he skilled around a sliding Vlaar and smash it between Guzan and the near post. We dominated for the rest of the first half but didn't capitalise. We were punished due to this with Lucas shot being paried to Balotelli where he slid in to score the red's second five minutes after the game resumed. 20 minutes later a counter from a corner caused our defence to be everywhere resulting in the crazy Italian's second. Lucas finished us off when Liverpool passed us to death in our box for the easy finish for the Brazilian.
Aston Villa 0-0 Hull
This game was played in periods. Hull dominated for the first 20 minutes we dominated until half time. Hull dominated from Half time to the 70th minute when they parked the bus. This was when we ambushed them but couldn't get a result. We needed to win that I felt.
Transfer
Aston Villa sign Belgium Wonderkid.
Sky Sports
Transfer Deadline Day saw the signing of Belgium wonderkid Junior Malanda sign for Aston Villa from Wolfsburg for a fee to be around 7 million pounds. The signing was made two hours before the Window shut. Gaspar, put this statement out on the clubs Facebook page:
I saw Junior when I was watching some of the Chelsea players in Belgium and Germany last year. He has the complete package, And for 20 he has a big, big future in world football. he is the player we needed to make this team complete.
Press Conference
Q: 3 draws and a loss in your first competive month in charge. How do you feel?
Gaspar: The players are adapting to the playing style, when a new manager takes charge it takes time for the club to adapt in all aspects.I feel the group are adapting very quickly.
Q: Do you think you needed to win the match against Hull?
Gaspar: Of course we should of just like we should of won against Stoke and Newcastle. However, Hull are a good team, they are in Europe you can't be bad and play in Europe. Every team is a good team in the Premier League. thats why they are playing in the best league in the world. We shouldn't expect to win games.
Q: What happened at Anfield?
Gaspar: We Lost badly. Liverpool are a World Class team, thats why they came second last season. Sure they lost Suarez but the have replaced him with some great players and when they are on their day they are world class. As for us we weren't on and that's why we lost. You have to be on your game when traveling to Anfield.
Q: Do you think your lacking goals? you have only scored 2 goals in 4 games with those goals occuring in one game.
Gaspar: I don't think so. We have goals in our team with Christian, Gabby Andre and Danny. Our Defence has been strong besides the Liverpool game, and thats what I wanted to improve. Goals will come.
Q: We See you playing a 3 CB 2 WB system with really 3 attackers, do you think this is the reason for the lack of goals?
Gaspar: Again, No. This formation fits my system and the players games. Just like I said it will take time.
Q: Whats your thought on the transfers you made?
Gaspar: I felt that this transfer window was a success. We signed the players that I wanted and kept the players in demand. We only really spent 7 million if you give and take the players we signed and sold.
Q: You sold your "older players" this window and signed young players with potential. Do you think the team will lack experience and leadership?
Gaspar: No we still have leaders and players who have alot of experence in this level of football. Ron was one of the best defenders at the World Cup and has been a great leader so far, Gabby, Philippe are in the same boat both played for their nations and very important matches and have been leaders around the playing group. And we also have Joe and Shay who have made my life easier being player coaches.
Q: Finally, You have already played Liverpool and your next fixtures are against Man City in the Capital One Cup, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City again and then Everton. You have or are playing thee top 5 teams last season. As a new manager who is still getting your team to adapt to your system. How big of a challenge is this for your team.
Gaspar: It's a massive challenge. It is also a massive learning experience for the players. All of you probably don't have us to win a game in these fixtures but that gives us more of a strive to win. All I can say is if we play our best football who knows what the outcome is. Thank youComment

What the f... are you serious??? That's terrible! What did they take? Hopefully not anything important except for the PS4. That sucks, man. You are probably feeling terrible now. I'm really sorry for you and for the lost careers! If there's one good thing it has to be that the PS4 was insured. Terrible luck.Comment

CRYSTAL PALACE 0–6 TOTTENHAM
Mata, Eriksen and Adebayor all score in the first half as Tottenham destroy a woeful Crystal Palace. Walker made it 4 shortly after half time before Eriksen grabbed his 2nd. Soldado completed the riot to round off the performance of the season.
Standings at the end of December
After 19 games
1) Manchester United 47
2) Liverpool 43
3) Manchester City 39
4) Tottenham 39
5) Arsenal 39
Monthly review: The perfect month just when we needed it. All wins including a solid victory over City and a thrashing against Palace. Couldn’t be happier. Transfer window is here and targets have been identified along with some certain departures. The main issue is with Lloris. He wants a £50,000 a week pay rise, and I really don’t want to apply too much money to contracts. Speaking of contracts, Kyle Naughton and Tom Carroll have not been offered new deals, so they can leave for free this transfer windowComment
