Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Glad to see the Newcastle career back! You had a rough start, but it's only the beginning of the season. Things will begin taking shape as the season goes on. Dominating the match against City is already a good sign despite losing the match.
Your first update also made me really happy because it means PSN is back online. Can't wait to get off work now. Even better I'm off work tomorrow too so I might get my first career started myself if Mordor allows it.Comment

You started the month by taking the lead but after that you lost the title race thanks to the loss against Southampton. What happened?
I don't know at all. We played our best players in every game and none of them looked tired after the games. Still Southampton managed to humiliate us and they dominated the whole game. It wasn't the players fault because they did what I wanted but I feel like all of them didn't give their everything. The pressure of winning the league may have had something to do with the loss. We were terrible defensively in that game and that is my fault because I didn't buy any defenders in January. At the end it was terrible that one bad game decided the whole season.
I hate to say this but you owe me fifty quid.
Just get out of here. Next question!
You didn't win anything this season. Would you call it a failure?
Yes, I think the season was a failure. Under my command we crashed out of the FA Cup, the Champions League and we lost the title race. The end was extremely disappointing and will take a few weeks to heal the wounds these two months left.
Are you going to resign after such a bad season?
I wouldn't call it that bad. Yes, it wasn't a good season but it was a lot better than some seasons of the last years. But I haven't even thought about resigning. Mister and mister Glazer have talked with me and I have their full support.
What will you do in the transfer window?
I will sign a few defenders, a winger and a striker because Robin (van Persie) wants to be sold in the summer. I will also try to sell some dead wood.
What will be your objective for next season?
To win the treble.
Transfer Budget: €51,000,000
Wage Budget: €260,000
Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!
Simppu12,A shame that you could not win any title but is your first season, give the man his damn 50 hahaha.Hellas didn't finish so bad in the league, but this shows how a manager can make the difference.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
That's great man keep it up! I've only played three matches on World Class in kick off and I haven't received any goals, but I know that games in kick off are usually easier than in career mode. I'm still getting used to the tactical defending on 15 but so far I like it a lot more than 14.
Damn. Last night I kept getting the message that my password was incorrect when I knew it wasn't. I went through the process to reset my password but I never got the email even though my PS4 said it was sent. This morning I saw I received the email overnight and I reset my password and was able to log on to PSN through the playstation website, so I hope it's working on the console now too.

TOON TO THE TOP
SEASON 1
PS4
Spoiler
Newcastle 0-0 Valencia
A relatively dull game in which there was not much action. Colback forced a simple save before Augusto smashed onto the post, despite an open goal. An incredible save denied substitute Ayoze Perez but the deadlock would not be broken.
Almeria 2-1 Newcastle
Verza 42
Cisse 64
Edgar 81

Newcastle 4-0 Hoffenheim

Simmed
Match 1
Newcastle 0-1 Manchester City
Milner 61
Despite dominating the match, we came out with a loss when Milner smashed into the top corner after beating Santon. We came close to an equaliser late on when Caballero made an incredible save to deny Aarons.
Match 2
Aston Villa 0-1 Newcastle
Aarons 4
A relatively dull game with the only goal coming early on in the match. Aaron found space between the defenders and ran into it before smashing into the far corner with incredible power. Benteke almost equalised, thumping the post from a tight angle.
Match 3
Newcastle 2-2 Crystal Palace
Sissoko 33
Bolasie 38
Perez 51
Jedinak 83
Sissoko opened the scoring for us, lightly rolling the ball into the bottom corner while running at full speed. Bolasie equalised soon after, smashing in at the near post but substitute Perez curled in to give us the lead. Unfortunately, Jedinak managed to head into the top corner from a corner kick to salvage a point.
Not the best of starts in the league, but is just the start of the season so you have enough time to achieve your objective, btw what was the board objective for you,European competition?

Spoiler
Match 4
Swansea 5-3 Southampton
SWA - Bony 5' 13' 48' 51' Gomis 64'
SOU - Long 50' Tadic 71' Schneiderlin 76'
MOTM: Wilfied Bony
Emmes had his shot saved and Bony tapped in the rebound. Shelvey slipped Bony in 10 minutes later and he slid it under the onrushing Forster. A bad tackle on Emmes in the 23nd minute meant he went off with a sprained ankle to be replaced by Gomis. Bony finished a counter attack goal poking it over Forster to complete his hat trick. Our defense was cut open and Long had an easy finish. Bony responded with another goal a minute later. Dyer won the ball back by the corner flag and pulled it back to Gomis for number 5. Tadic scored a wonderful free kick from the edge of the D. Schneiderlin tapped in a rebound from his shot. A very high scoring game. (Was on Professional)
Marvin Emmes is out for 4 weeks with a sprained ankle.
Capital One Cup Round 3
Swansea 2-1 Preston
SWA - Fulton 18' Gomis 114'
PRE - Garner 84'
MOTM: James Loveridge
Hayes fielded a younger team to give them some experience in this Cup match. The Preston Goalkeeper skied his clearence from a back pass and Fulton headed it in from the edge of the box. In the 50' minute Britton hit the crossbar from 30 yards when the keeper made another terrible clearence. Donnelly got a bruised shoulder and was replaced by Gomis. Britton then sprained his knee and Sigurdsson came on. Garner equalized to bring it to extra time. Loveridge picked the ball up on the D and put Gomis through who held off the defender and scored. Tighter than we would have liked but we are through to the next round against Southampton.
Leon Britton will be out for 4 weeks.
Rory Donnelly will be out for 9 days.
Match 5
Sunderland 1-1 Swansea
SUN - Rodwell 76'
SWA - Bony 85'
MOTM: Lukasz Fabianski
A trip to the Stadium of Light was up next for Bony and Co as we looked to make it a 3rd consecutive victory in all competitions. Just before halftime Sigurdsson got a sprained knee and was replaced by Canas. Sunderland struck first through Rodwell after Fletcher played him in. Bony replied for us 5 minutes from time. Canas gave the ball to him on the edge of the box and he went down the outside of Bridcutt turned back inside and placed it into the far corner. Dyer had a chance to win it in stoppage time but the angle was too great for him to finish.
Gylfi Sigurdsson is out for 3 weeks with a sprained knee.
Player of the Month
Lukasz Fabianski
"He doesn't get the credit he deserves sometimes" - Patrick Hayes. He has been key in games keeping us in them especially the Sunderland one where he got Man of the Match.

Q. What are your thoughts on the month?
A. It was quite good in my opinion. We beat a very good Southampton team at home and the young lads did well against Preston in the Cup deserving to win in normal time. The draw against Sunderland was unfortunate but the Stadium of Light is a tough place to visit and we did well to come away with a point.
Q. Wilfried Bony scored 5 goals this month and has been in great form. How much is your success is down to him?
A. Listen Wilfried has been in great form but our success is down to the team. They create the chances and we are lucky enough to have someone of his quality up top who can finish them.
Q. You have a tough month ahead especially visiting Stamford Bridge in your first game. How do you think that you will do?
A. I think we are well capable of getting 9 points out of 12 this month. Chelsea are a great team and even more so at home but we aren't afraid of them or anyone for that matter.
Q. There have been rumors of you moving for Danny Ings or Saido Berahino in the upcoming window. Are these rumors true?
A. Now for that you'll have to wait until January.
Thanks for reading! Any feedback is appreciated!Spoiler

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
That Southampton game was on Professional lol just to see if it was difficult for me, obviously it wasn't and I put it back to World Class. Bony is top alright! He is on 10 I think in October. Some of the injured are starting to filter back from their injuries now so that's a bonus. I think I'm gonna try for Ings as my main target and try Berahino too. I may even try to get Dybala if I can. Ings seems in my budget from what you said so that's great!Currently Playing:
