Yup, same with me. It appears to be everyone but the top post moved over and on the left is the username and all that of the top post. It's really annoying.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Man, this page thing is weird. Hope it sorts out from the next one.
It's been a while since I've managed to play any FIFA. On top of the ICC World Cup being underway, I haven't been sleeping much. The wife and I have adopted a four-month old Dalmatian-Lab-Rottweiler mix puppy, so a lot of our time is going into housebreaking her.
I'll probably be away for a bit longer.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
FIFA 15 | PS3 | Season 3 | 2016-17
The Swans
Summer Window
Bernat, 74 Ovr, LB, 22 Years Old, Spain
£4.5 million, Bayern Munich
The 22 year old Spanish fullback has been brought in on a permanent deal this summer after spending last season on loan at the Liberty. After some negotiation Pep Guardiola agreed the sale of the young prospect for a fee rumored to be around £4.5 million. Sources within the club are indicating that the move clears the way for Neil Taylor to leave the club after expressing his wish to do so. Bernat signed a 4 Year deal and is earning in the region of £40k a week.
Ryan Bertrand, 74 Ovr, LB, 26 Years Old, England
£4 million, Chelsea
Bertrand was the second left back brought in by Patrick Hayes this window. Seeing the need for another body to provide competition for Bernat after Taylor's departure. Hayes moved for the Englishman who had fallen down the pecking order behind the likes of Felipe Luis and Cesar Azpilicueta. Mourinho agreed to let him go for the fee of £4 million. He put pen to paper on a 3 year deal worth £50k a week.
Kurt Zouma, 75 Ovr, CB, 21 Years Old, Frances
Season Loan, Chelsea
Jose Mourinho also allowed young French center half Kurt Zouma to join Ryan Bertrand at the Liberty. The 21 year old has joined the Swans on loan for the season. Hayes looked at his Center Halves and decided he needed another body to add more depth in the position. He is expected to slot in for Kyle Bartley for the B team but could also claim a spot with the first team. It isn't clear which will happen yet. He can also fill in at right back if he was needed there. The Frenchman will earn £40k a week.
Felipe Anderson, 75 Ovr, LW, 23 Years Old, Brazil
£6 million, Lazio
The final signing of the window was an attacking one. It came in the form of Felipe Anderson bought from Lazio on deadline day. Swansea initially came in with a bid of £5 million for the Brazilian but Lazio managed to get Hayes to cough up an extra £1 million to acquire him. The pacey winger can also play in the CAM position if needed. He is viewed as a long term replacement for Nathan Dyer. He will earn £40k a week for 4 years.
Transfers Out
Neil Taylor ---> Arsenal, £3.5 million
Dwight Tiendalli ---> Blackburn Rovers, £500k
Bafétimbi Gomis ---> Nice, £6.1 million
Adam King ---> Hamilton, £90k
James Loveridge ---> Rotherham United, Loan
Rory Donnelly ---> Leeds United, Loan
Rhys Randall ---> Ipswich Town, Loan
Elliott l'Anson ---> Wolves, Loan
So yeah, I brought in depth at the back with Zouma, Bernat and Bertrand. Bernat and Bertrand were replacements for Taylor who wanted to leave. Good riddance to him. Anderson was a long term replacement for Dyer who is getting closer to 30. I also managed to offload Gomis for a good price seeing as I didn't really like him because of his slow pace and rarely used him. Loveridge and Donnelly both got loans again. They are both young strikers 63 Ovr and 67 Ovr respectively. I also managed to get Randall and l'Anson who are both youth products out on loan again. Randall is a CM who can play at CDM and is a 63 Ovr while l'Anson is a CDM who can also play at CM and is a 66 Ovr. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my 5 other youth products out on loan. Hopefully in January.

Premier League
Matchday 27
Arsenal 2-0 Manchester United
3' Welbeck (Sanchez)
55' Welbeck (Oxlade-Chamberlain)
March was going to be a big month, since we were going to face a lot of big teams, first one being Manchester United at the Emirates. I had to make a few changes since we had to play against Liverpool 2 days later, yet the team we fielded was still very strong.
Right off the bat, we took the lead, as Sanchez passed it into the box for Welbeck to score it - he put it past Lindergaard right in the front post. Manchester didn't really threaten us at first, we were keeping the ball and completely playing our way. They had difficulty breaking into our box - they only had one good chance when Rooney hit the bar, but we managed to clear it out.
Our second goal was also by Danny, as Oxlade passed it to him, he went completely past two defenders and passed it into the bottom corner. The shot was really bad, yet I have no idea why the keeper did not jump for it. The final score was 2-0 for us and luckily, we started the month strong.
Premier League
Matchday 28
Liverpool 0-2 Arsenal
7' McCarthy
66' Podolski (PEN)
After a strong game against United, we went away from the Emirates and to Anfield to face Liverpool - another very tough side to play against. For some reason, Anfield always scares me, I have no idea why. But when Sturridge struck the bar very early, I knew exactly why. Luckily, we then managed to take a lead of our own. Podolski took a shot which got saved by Mignolet, yet when the ball bounced back, it was McCarthy who was the first one to it.
We kept on pressuring them and taking the best of our chances, but simply could not break through. However, when Lovren took down Podolski and got carded for it, we got a penalty - the best chance to put the game to bed. Lukas stepped up to take it and he smashed it home!
The game ended 2-0, again. I did not mind that at all, these were exactly the performances we would need to close the gap between us and Chelsea.
Champions League
Round of 16
Leg 2
Arsenal 2-3 Sevilla FC
Arsenal advance on aggregate score 4-3
23' Oxlade-Chamberlain (Welbeck)
71' Wilshere (Özil)
81' Banega (Vitolo)
88' Aleix (Vitolo)
90' Pareja (Vitolo)
My writing did not save sadly, so I don't remember much. Oxlade got a goal because Welbeck passed it to him on an open net. Wilshere scored from a cross. We were pretty much done after that, but then they started crossing and somehow, we couldn't stop them. They just scored 3 in 10 minutes and all of them were crosses into the box, and the scorers were not the tallest players. Still, we might have lost the game, yet we went on to the next round.
Premier League
Matchday 29
Crystal Palace 0-4 Arsenal
20' Giroud (Ramsey)
28' Cazorla (Giroud)
76' Giroud
78' Ramsey
So after a terrible, yet advancing performance against Sevilla, it was the international break. I was hoping the players could get some rest, but sadly not. However, our next game was against Crystal Palace, so I was expecting us pick up the 3 points.
It took us time to break through their defense, since they were being rather passive and not making many defensive errors, yet as soon as they got caught in a counter, Ramsey found Giroud and slotted it in. A few minutes later, some good passing play and Cazorla broke into the box and took a shot. Granted, it wasn't the greatest, but it was powerful - the keeper had a difficult time saving it, 2-0! We then played our game, yet the offensive finishing wasn't there.
Crystal looked bad, the only player that did impress me was Bolasie, creating chances for the team. However, just like the first goal, they got caught in a counter, but this time, Giroud got past the defender at the halfway line and went 1-on-1 with the keeper and finished it with class - top left corner.
And we were not done there, as Ramsey stole the ball straight off kickoff and made great use of his chance. The game ended 4-0 and I was really happy, since last time we played Palace, we drew against them. It was also a great confidence boost.
Champions League
Quarter Finals
Leg 1
Arsenal 1-0 FC Schalke 04
63' Welbeck (Özil)
Ah, to end the month, we went up against Schalke in the quarter finals of the Champions League. They actually defeated City, so I knew it was going to be difficult. I don't know if it was good, but the first game was at our house. I was also excited to see Rosicky play again, and he looked really good - he made life difficult for us.
The game was really neck and neck to a certain point, since Fährmann was keeping them in it and our defense was keeping us in it. I knew it was going to need something magical to beat them, so when Özil won the ball, lifted it over Aogo and right into the feet of Welbeck, I knew it was going in. And it did - quite a beautiful goal by the two usual suspects. We had more chances but we couldn't finish them.
Luckily, we won the first game 1-0, and I was really happy - yet from the experience against Sevilla, the second game is still everything to play for.
Premier League
Matchday 30
Arsenal 2-0 Sunderland
45' Giroud (Debuchy)
79' Cazorla (Giroud)
Then I realised that one of our games got rescheduled - we were going to face Sunderland at the Emirates, which usually should translate into 3 points. With the team being in good form, I was really confident in our players.
We were creating havoc early, as Pantilimon had his work cut out, whether it was going for crosses or defending difficult shots. I knew that we were going to break through at some point, and luckily, just before half-time, a cross by Debuchy onto the head of Giroud gave us the lead.
We kept on fighting in the second half, trying to go for a second one. And when Giroud won the ball from Clark, he passed it to Cazorla who just managed to put it in the net. The final score was 2-0 and it was a great result, just before the month of April

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
TOON TO THE TOP
SEASON 4
PS4
Brazilian Star arrives in Newcastle
Newcastle fans flooded the club training ground today to see Roberto Firmino, the clubs new free signing, arrive at the club. Arriving in a black Audi R8, the Brazilian was swarmed as he tried to sign as many autographs as he could before meeting his new team-mates. He joins on an £80,000 a week deal.
The Slovenian Wizard has gone
Slovenian winger and fan favourite Kevin Kampl has left Tyneside to join Aston Villa for £7.5 million. He became unsettled towards the end of last season and dropped the bombshell that he wanted to leave early on in the transfer window.
Algerian International Signs in Big Money Deal
Algerian international and La Liga starlet, Sofiane Feghouli, has signed for Newcastle for £26 million on a 3 year, £130,000 a week deal. One of the worlds best in his position, the player has been sought after for a long time but was out of their financial capabilities until now.
French Star Joins Newcastle
Alexandre Lacazette has joined Newcastle United for £22.5 million on a 3 year, £110,00 a week contract. He fell out of favour at Spurs due to Doumbia's scintillating form and Newcastle swooped in to pick up the unhappy goalscorer.
FA Community Shield
Everton 0-1 Newcastle
Bony 37
In a tight match we got the only goal of the game through substitute Bony. New signing Lacazette had to come off minutes before due to landing heavily on his shoulder and will be out for 9 days, so the Ivorian came off the bench. With his first touch he flicked it over the defenders head, his second he knocked ahead of him and his third, he hit it on the bounce into the bottom corner. Everton rarely threatened and Howard made an excellent save to deny Feghouli on his competitive début. Unfortunately, Clyne picked up an injury before the game ruling him out for 8 weeks.
Young Star Goes To Merseyside
Newcastle youngster Adam Armstrong has joined Liverpool FC for £4.4 million, an incredible fee considering his lack of play time. One can only assume Liverpool expect him to become great.
Match 1
Newcastle 3-1 Watford
Barkley 4
Bony 23
Clichy 76
Deeney 90
Barkley opened the scoring on the first game of the season early on for us, stroking into the bottom corner from the edge of the box after Bony had been tackled. Bony then made it 2, turning his man before smashing into the bottom corner for an excellent goal. Clichy made it 3 with 15 minutes left, taking a touch to flick it over the defenders leg before making his way into the box and stroking it in near post through the legs of the defender. Deeney pulled one back in stoppage time when he beat 3 defenders with an amazing dribble before curling into the bottom corner.
Loan deal for Out of Favour Striker
Portuguese striker Nelson Oliveira has left Newcastle to join Brighton on loan. Brighton have done wonders for Newcastle strikers in the past, having Ayoze Perez on loan 2 seasons ago and turning him into a Premier League quality finisher.
Centre Back Leaves
Virgil van Dijk has joined West Brom from Newcastle for £4.5 million after he fell out of favour with the manager. The Netherlands international was meant to be the long term centre back for Newcastle, but it didn't work out as planned.
Match 2
West Brom 0-2 Newcastle
Lacazette 54
Lacazette 79
We played mediocrely in the first half, Begovic stopping us from going 2 or 3-0 down. Perez was playing his first bad game for the club, Barkley wasn't creating anything and Bony couldn't do anything on the ball, so I brought all 4 off for Delph, Firmino and Lacazette. Some good play sent the ball out wide for Schurrle who whipped it into the box and Lacazette was there to head home. He then got his second of the game, taking a heavy touch to get past Lescott before smashing in off both posts. An excellent second half display.
Jak Alnwick Loan Chance
4th choice goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has joined Plymouth on loan in a bid to gain more experience. He was second choice for a time and was able to shine for Newcastle but Darlow returned and took the second choice spot back, as well as Elliot being chosen for more experience as 3rd choice.
Match 3
Newcastle 1-2 Nottingham Forest
Mackie 8
Murnane 20
Blackstock 70
Playing a reserve squad in this Tuesday night fixture, we were made to pay by a Forest side that were motivated. Mackie gave them the lead, smashing in beyond the keeper before Murnane equalised, smashing in off the post from just outside the box. Blackstock gave Forest the win though, out-jumping Lascelles to send his looping header into the back of the net.
Young Defender Signs for Newcastle
French centre back Kurt Zouma has joined Newcastle from Chelsea in a £6 million deal, with Haris Vuckic going the other way. Newcastle were lacking in centre backs and have got one who will be world class in Zouma.
Copa Europe
Newcastle 0-0 Juventus (3-1 pens)
In a tight fought match, Juventus had a few chances, forcing a couple if brilliant saves from Begovic, but overall, both defences stood firm. When I bought Bony on, his physical presence gave us the advantage but we just couldn't get the ball past Leali who made 3 excellent saves in the game, denying Schurrle, Bony and Feghouli. The match went to penalties where Perez scored, Berardi hit the post, Schurrle scored, Marchiso scored, Bony scored, Alaba put it wide, Murnane skied it but so did Isla giving us the win.
Au Revoir, Emmanuel
Emmanuel Riviere has left Newcastle to join Crystal Palace for £5 million after barely having a look in for 2 seasons.
League Cup Round 2
Newcastle 3-0 Stevenage
Lacazette 25
Lacazette 42
Clichy 72
Simmed.
Back Up Right Back at last
Callum Chambers has joined Newcastle from Arsenal to finally fill the gap in behind Clyne in the pecking order. With right backs ranging from Haidara to Lascalles, the team has been in dire need for one.
Transfers IN
Roberto Firmino: Free from TSG Hoffenheim
Sofiane Feghouli: £26 million from Valencia

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
7-5? 7-5?! What a match that must've been! Remember any of the details by any chance? I'm sure we'd all love to read about that 12 goal thriller! Great start to the season with an undefeated month. Looking forward to seeing how you stand against Leicester. You have yet to face the strong teams in England, but Leicester will be a step up from Derby. Keep doing what you're doing man I want to see Northampton on a cup run!
That Exeter match was definitely a thriller I was down 3-0 30' in and then I score three to tie it at the half. Then I score a goal with N'Jie to put us up 4-3 then Exeter score a wonder goal from 35 yards out to tie it again. I score 3 more goals by the 75' and Exeter gets one back 80 minutes in but after that I just held the ball trying to kill as much clock as possible

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
A good start with back to back 2-0 wins against United and Liverpool! I suppose the only downside to the month was the loss to Sevilla but you still managed to get through to the next round and get a good result against Schalke. Looking forward to the return leg! If you manage to win your game in hand you'll only be 5 behind Chelsea which is an improvement on last month but I fear it may be too late, always could be a chance though! Also How the HELL are Palace sitting in 5th!?!?! Crazy. Another thing, is this the 2nd season? Seeing as Cardiff, Norwich and Leeds are there.
I am really hoping the return leg will go well, since that game against Sevilla was crazy, if I hadn't scored 2 goals that match, I would have been going out.
We will see if the late push will make things better and close the gap between Chelsea and us. Our last game of the season is against them, so things are going to be tight. Thanks for the post!
I will put the last post in spoilers here again due to the bug from last page.

Hellas Verona
May 2016
Maurizio Setti, the club owner and president, wanted to see me before our important games in May. I wasn't nervous because the team had been doing amazingly.
"Buongiorno, signore Corleone. I wanted to have a small conversation."
I notted. The big boss was calm and he was dressed like a don from a mafia. His short hair, dark eyes and little stubble only made the impression stronger but don't you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Setti is a very sensible and caring man but he also knows what is the best for the team. He's funny and he always defends his friends.
"There are three points separating Juventus from us. Second place would be an incredible achievement but winning the Scudetto would be even more special and wonderful."
"I know and I agree with you."
"And what will you do with the team?"
"I will do everything I can and play our strongest players. Winning the double is my aim."
"You are a wise man. The team is in good hands."
I smiled.
"One more thing. Soon you will be getting big offers from big clubs. I would appreciate it a lot if you..."
"Don't worry, signore. My heart belongs to Verona and I will never leave the club."
"Indeed, you are a wise man."

Rubentus lost their game earlier today and we have the chance to go in the lead. All you need to do is play good football. You are sons of great warriors. Sons of emperors. And who are Udinese? They are nobody. Who are Rubentus? They are a bunch of criminals. You are better than them and you deserve the league title!"

I decided not to yell in this. The players knew what they were meant to do. I would be just like Carlo Ancelotti or Louis van Gaal.

"They didn't deserve to score but their goal made us better. The boys were incredible and they showed real class out on the pitch. We are back in first and if we beat Roma the title will be ours. I think we can do it."

I had just finished my pump-up speech. The boys were ready to go into the tunnel before stepping on the grass of the sold-out stadium. The atmosphere was amazing and almost the whole city had gathered around the stadium. I walked to Vangelis Moras who was playing his last league game.
"Vangelis, this is your second to last game for the team. I know what it means for you to maybe win the league title in your last game. That's why you're starting the game."
He looked at me and his eyes were full of surprise.
"Don't say anything. Oh, and don't forget this."
I threw the captain's armband to him. He looked at it and he opened his mouth.
"Shh, the game is starting."
***
"Come on, mark him! Don't leave that much space! God damnit!"
***
"Go Paulo, run! Finish it! Yes, back in the game! The title is almost ours!"
***
"Tackle him! No, take him down! Stay closer! Nooo! Fu*k you, you Turkish prick, be part of an Eucharist and then go die in a fire!"
"Please, calm down, signore."
"If you weren't a referee that board would end up in a painful place..."
***
"Go on, Choupo, go on, Choupo, what a dribble son, yes! An equaliser again!"
***
"Counter them, go Alessandro, play it across, get in! YEEEEEES! we are in the lead! The title is ours! Go on boys, keep on playing! The dream has come true! Now score a couple more!"
