    Betis 1-0 Barcelona

A really up and down month there. It's a real shame to see you knocked out of 2 cup competitions already, as they are a good source of cash. Although the big one is the FA Cup so it's not all bad! You had a rough patch in the middle of the month but there were some important wins either side of that which leave you in a good position to get into the playoff spots. Moore looks like an exciting prospect in the academy! Lets see how he develops.

Now that was a tough start to the job. You really struggled to score in August which must have been worrying. Looks like you got that sorted in September though with some big wins. Quite a few pens for Campbell-Ryce too! (Paying off the refs were we? ) 5th is a good spot and you are only 6 points off the top. Some nice players in the academy too.

You said it yourself, you're steam rolling the league! All those clean sheets and goals scored, at this rate you'll be promoted by Christmas! You're top scorer being a defender is madness. All from set pieces? Must be a monster in the air. Now I'm waiting to see how many points you win the league by and how far you can go in the Copa Del Rey!

Did I forget to put the games in Bold?! Ugh! I'm really shooting myself in the foot with that one now. Also I couldn't really do anything in that loss, I was playing a mostly Backup side because my first team was exhausted after playing 3 games in a span of 6 days.
Also I believe I'm in like 8th place right now(don't quote me on that)

      FIFA 16 - Season 1

      The Blades

      October

      Fleetwood Town 0 - 0 Sheffield United
      MOTM: Arestidou

Match Summary: The two teams seemed to be evenly matched and the final scoreline is about all that each team deserved from this match. Neither put in a better showing, and a point should leave everyone feeling good about the result.

      J. Paint Trophy
      Stevenage FC 0 - 2 Sheffield United
      SHU - Cuvelier 49' (PEN), 76' (PEN)
      MOTM: Cuvelier

Match Summary: A reckless game by the Stevenage defense led to two easy penalty chances for Cuvelier to finish for the lead. There were a few chances for both sides outside of that, but nothing developed into anything too serious.

      Sheffield United 3 - 0 Chesterfield FC
      SHU - Woolford 5', 82', Baxter 76'
      MOTM: Long

Math Summary: An absolutely dominating performance this time out by Sheffield United and they easily walked away with all three points. All 7 shots they took were put on goal, and an outstanding individual performance by Woolford capped off the win with a stunning brace.

      Barnsley FC 1 - 3 Sheffield United
      BAR - Watkins 41'
      SHU - Campbell-Ryce 23' (PEN), 35' (PEN), 57' (PEN)
      MOTM: Campbell-Ryce

Match Summary: The referee is lucky to leave the stadium in one piece after awarding three penalties against the home team, the first of which was highly questionable and dictated an atmosphere of contempt for the rest of the match. Campbell-Ryce netted all three and the visitors will be happy to get out of here before the crowd gets out of control.

      Sheffield United 2 - 0 Doncaster Rovers
      SHU - Harris 11', Scougall 81'
      MOTM: Long

Match Summary: Back at Bramall Lane, United put on a display for the home crowd. Two stunning goals, one off a free kick and one from a great effort by Scougall, led the way as they continued their rise up the table.

      Millwall 0 - 2 Sheffield United
      SHU - Kennedy 44', Sharp 88'
      MOTM: Long

Match Summary: Millwall didn't put up much of a fight in this one and United's assault on the goal paid off. First Kennedy opened the scoring with a well placed header off of a corner. Finally it was put out of reach by Sharp's high press that resulted in an easy one on one with the keeper.

      Sheffield United 1 - 1 Bradford City
      SHU - Sharp 80' (PEN)
      BRA - Evans 52'
      MOTM: Long

Match Summary: Bradford City looked to be the better team, but a poorly timed tackle in the box led to an equalizing penalty for United leaving each team with just a point from the match.

      League Table

      U-16

        FIFA 16 - Season 1

        The Blades

        November

        J. Paint Trophy
        Sheffield United 3 - 2 Bradford City
        SHU - Baxter 15', Hammond 47', 86' Adams
        BRA - Clarke 6', Morais 75'
        MOTM: Hammond

Match Summary: For the second time in as many games United took on Bradford City. This time the match was all in favor of the home side and they walked away with a victory after three important goals each from a different player.

        Swindon Town 1 - 2 Sheffield United
        SWI - Ojamaa 75'
SHU - Cuvelier 52' (PEN), De Girolamo 60'
        MOTM: Coutts

Match Summary: An early penalty set the tone of the match and a goal by De Girolamo gave the Blades the cushion to hold off a late goal from Swindon Town.

        Sheffield United 1 - 0 Peterborough
        SHU - Harris 49'
        MOTM: Harris

Match Summary: Each team had a few good chances, but the only goal ultimately came from a beautiful display of passing that ended with tap in from the right side of the goal.

        Sheffield United 0 - 1 Shrewsbury FC
        SHR - Ogogo 50'
        MOTM: Leutwiler

Match Summary: A flat performance in front of their home crowd led to a rare defeat for the Blades. The deciding goal was a result of poor marking by the defense and it was enough against a stagnant offense to earn the win for Shrewsbury.

        Burton Albion 0 - 0 Sheffield United
        MOTM: McLaughlin

Match Summary: The Blades laid siege on the opponents goal for the entire match but the keeper had perhaps his best game to date. McLaughlin stood tall and made save after save to preserve the draw.

          Ha Ho He

          2017-18 Summer Transfer Window
          + August 2017

          Transfers Out

          Nils-Jonathan Körber, GK, 59 Ovr
          ,
          €230,000 to Al-Raed

He was our fourth-choice goalkeeper with poor potential so there was no reason to keep him in the team or send him out on loan. Hopefully he will be more useful to Al-Raed than to us.

Florian Kohls, CM, 64 Ovr, €475,000 to Duisburg

He was sold for the same reason as Körber: didn't have a lot of potential and was never going to get playing time. We still wish him all the best.

Jens Hegeler, CM, 74 Ovr, €3,500,000 to Hannover 96

He just turned thirty and he was not an important member of the squad. Sluggish, poor passer, poor tackler and didn't play much. Wasn't needed in the team and Hannover were willing to pay his market value.

Genki Haraguchi, LM, 76 Ovr, €13,000,000 to Feyenoord

The most surprising sale was the one of the 27-year-old winger Genki Haraguchi. The pacy man had a good last season and he is at his peak but we didn't have to think for long when Feyenoord were willing to pay €13 million for a player whose worth was closer to €6,5M.

          Transfers In

          Aron Jóhannsson

76 Ovr, Striker, 26 Years Old, USA

          €9,000,000

After finishing in fourth last season and in sixth the season before that, Hertha BSC are not showing any signs of slowing down on their success. This can be seen as the Berliners' cheapest signing of the summer, the Islandic-American striker Aron Jóhansson, cost more than their previous record signing Stefan Aigner who was signed in January 2016. The American international had his first taste of Bundesliga action in the 2015-16 campaign when Werder Bremen signed him. Since then the attacker has been playing with changing form. Hertha's head coach Pál Dárdai is expected to rotate between Vedad Ibisevic and Jóhannsson as Salomon Kalou's striking partner upfront.

          Kevin Kampl

78 Ovr, Right Winger, 26 Years Old, Slovenia

          €9,000,000

The deadline day signing of Kevin Kampl was completed only to replace the departing Genki Haraguchi in the starting eleven. The Slovakian joined for a relatively cheap price considering that Bayer Leverkusen paid €11m for him a couple of years ago. Kampl, who is known for his pace and dribbling, can be utilised almost everywhere on the pitch, including the wings and centre of the pitch. His pace and dribbling skills make him an unpredictable and dangerous opponent who is expected to start on Hertha's right wing.

          Julian Brandt

78 Ovr, Left Winger, 21 Years Old, Germany

          €15,000,000

The second-most expensive signing Hertha completed in the summer was a shocking one: the capital's club managed to sign one of Germany's biggest football talents for €15 million, also from Bayer Leverkusen. Last season Hertha's right wing was almost useless with the biggest threat coming from right back Mitchell Weiser's overlapping runs and the singing of Brandt will hopefully fix this problem. The 21-year-old gem broke into Leverkusen's starting eleven in 2015 and since then he has been an important piece of their attack. Now the talented attacker will face a lot of pressure in Berlin.

          Johannes Geis

81 Ovr, Central Midfielder, 24 Years Old, Germany

          €24,000,000

The biggest transfer bomb in the Bundesliga in the summer was that the midfielder Johannes Geis transferred from the champions Schalke 04 to the capital city of Hertha BSC for a hefty fee of €24 million. The 24-year-old Geis, who together with good passing ability is known for his very accurate free kicks, became Hertha's record signing by nine million euros to Julian Brandt, another player who was signed this summer. Geis is expected to improve Hertha's defensive game and the central midfielders' tracking back.

I need to take some time to comment on your guys' CM's before I do more updates, I'm playing faster than I can update. Newport's next update will be for 2 months and I already knocked out my 1st month in Mexico!

"And you're sure that you don't want to manage in Germany?"

"Christ no, I'd be a fish out of water if I went over there. At least I know the Championship."

"So that's Kaiserslautern out of the question then?"

What did I just say to him? Deaf f***er.

"Yes Jim, it has to be in England. Preferably with a Championship side or a top League 1 team. If I start any lower I might never get out of that rabbit hole."

"Well there's a few offers from Newport County, Sheffield United and Brighton. Believe it or not Betis and Mallorca in Spain have been on to me about your availability. If you're feeling adventurous, Dorados in Mexico have said the jobs yours if you want it."

"Any 'more' offers that you never told me about?"

I swear that man's memory is like a sive, how did he become my agent again? Oh yeah that's right he's my wife's brother, the things I do for her.

"Let's see, there was Koln along with Hertha in the Bundesliga and some Russian team want you badly. Oh and that nutter Tan from Cardiff has been on to me constantly for the last two weeks."

"WHAT?!?! CARDIFF WANT ME?!?!? You know that blue blood is in my veins. Why didn't you tell me they were interested?"

Because he's the memory of a goldfish, that'd why. I'm ready to strangle him.

"I thought Swansea was your team? Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm bloody sure, it's been 38 f**king years. Ring the nutter back and tell him we'll meet him."

                  *******

After an hour of intense talks, Keano was announced as the new Cardiff City manager.

Rohan with a lovely assist for Eoin's (Doyle) goal. What pleased me then was that Eoin was able to set up Scott (Malone) for the second goal after a quick but deadly breakaway. It was a cracking finish from the lad as well, flying the banner for all the left backs out there."

                    Final

                    Cardiff City 0-0 Sporting Gijón
                    (4-3 PENS)

                    MotM: Ivan Cuellar (7.3)

"The Spaniards tested us again and forced us to penalties. Both sides had good chances but neither took them meaning I had to suffer through the lottery of penalties. Thankfully David (Marshall) made two excellent saves to win us the trophy."

To open the season we face newly promoted side, Bristol City at home. A game we will be looking to win and use to get off to a good start. Bury follows in the League Cup, the youngsters and squad players will get a run out in this one as we look to give everyone game time. Four more league games come after that, two at the Cardiff City Stadium (Original I know ) and two away from home. 8 points would be a welcome return.

How do you guys like the format? Any constructive criticism is welcome. Gotta make sure it looks well!

Hehe, thought I'd involve people! I did a nice career with them on 14 and I liked the idea of getting to the Prem and challenging Swansea for Wlaes' top team. Decent budget for a Championship team as well and there a couple of Irish players which I like.

They grow in the academy once they turn 16. And then 17. If you promote them when they are 16, they'll grow to the height they would have when they turn 17.

What a massive month with wins over big clubs Spartak and Lokomotiv Moscow! It was not easy to pick one Player of the Month as Alexandr Erokhin scored 4 goals (2 from penalties), and Alhaji Kamara notched 3 tallies, but November's best player for FC Ural was Alexandr Sapeta with 3 goals from a defensive midfield position and two Man of the Match performances.

                                Manager's Thoughts
A great month of November has jumped us into a Europa League spot and knocking on the door of the Champions League. The win against Spartak Moscow was huge as they are an impressive club and one of our main competitors for the Top 5. Lokomotiv also has a very talented squad, so I never would have thought we could have beaten them by a scoreline of 6-1. The game against Krylya Sovetov Samara, that we should win, saw us handle our business. Confidence is sky high, and we now believe we can play with anyone in the RFPL.

                                January 2015 - Schedule
                                1/30 - vs Dinamo

A light month because of the Russian winter break with only one match in January against Dinamo Moscow. Despite limited funds, our club looks to make some additions once the transfer window opens. This is our push to the club's first ever appearance in Europe. With our current form, I don't think the Policemen can stop us. I just hope we don't get too rusty with so much time off.
