Passing accuracy for me is typically 80-90%, using semi assisted passing. CPU is almost always around 90%.

The primary difference I notice on Legendary is the CPU tackling ability in the final third. It just becomes very easy for them to get the ball off of me, especially near the penalty box. I find that on world class the situation is a little more equal on both ends of the pitch.
Legendary isn't necessarily "harder", but is less of a pushover in some areas. The CPU will connect their passes better, but they don't have the overalll advantage like in year's past.

My rule of thumb when wanting to make things harder is create an imbalance. So if you like World Class, then simply have an imbalance of Sprint and Acceleration.

    So USER/CPU would be

    Sprint 50/51
    Accel 49/50

I would also suggest, based on quite a bit of testing now, is reducing Line Width from 65 to another value, preferably under 60.

The higher compressed lines of length 40 and height 58 resulted in needing some breathing room via width. With the most recent update, however, I'm seeing the defensive line be less rigid, which is allowing better coverage - almost too good actually - with the higher width setting.

This is what sparked the idea of lowering width in testing, and was more confirmed once the update was pushed through in the most recent patch.

What are you rolling with for width?

Played City last night (with Kreb CTT) and good grief it was suffocating!

        I'm at 50 currently. I think it's a good spot, but I hadn't tested 51-60

My recent upload shows some gameplay footage of it at 50, keep in mind it is in highlight form. I felt it played well, this was on Legendary, with Krebs tactics:

How am I able to change Custom Team Tactics of the CPU to 55 Pressure before starting a CM? Thanks!

Matt, thanks for the info. I really like the offensive approach of the CPU in Legendary. What is frustrating me is the defensive side, I am just totally stymied by the CPU in most games, but again a lot of this comes from my ridiculously short 6min half length.

I think a little bit of what I am experiencing is coming from the fact that I've been using Krebs custom tactics and while I absolutely love the variability created, I am finding that the teams with high pressure styles are extraordinarily difficult on Legendary. In particular, Liverpool, with their 90 pressure and 75 aggression are very, very difficult to handle. I suppose this is a credit to Krebs for recreating the gegenpress accurately, but wow does it make offensive life difficult. The problem is that I don't really see a downside for those teams in terms of players getting tired.

Anyway, I will play around with the recommendations. I've been waiting on the patch install until I hear that it's not a total disaster, which so far it sounds like it's not.

Yes--I'm having quite the difficulty lately to score goals (legendary; 10 min halves). But, as is the CPU. My last FOUR games have all gone in my favor, 1-0.

Not sure if it's patch related (I believe 2 of those games were pre-patch), form related, or what--but the scoring has really dried up in my games lately.

I feel it has become easier to make goals by free kick?! (maybe placebo?). But overall it's hard to break down AIs defense. Many 0-0 and 1-0, or 0-1, but for me thats not a bad thing, and together with Krebstars CTT its great!. Thanks Matt and co for adjustment proposals advices.

Im sure somebody in here can help. But i would go to man behind CTT Krebstar thread and ask him!. I think also it depend on the second controller option?. Projec10: Custom AI Tactics & Formations [FIFA 17]

City, Liverpool, Spurs and to an extend Arsenal are very aggressive with Kreb's CTTs. Chelsea and Man United on the other hand not very much.

Trying to play against them with more realism (no sprinting past the whole of the team*) makes it very realistic when you have a weaker team. Having an equal team to them though still feels uneven and I don't like it.

*Against teams who press like that, good dribbling and ball control players can run past literally the whole team and score a goal. It is a lot easier to predict how to turn due to all the opponents swarming on the ball. But that is definitely not realistic.

Edit each team's tactic by going to the 4th tab 'Customise' on the main FIFA screen and going into Edit Team Sheets. Select Custom Tactic for each team, edit it with Pressure 55 (unless it's already higher) and save.

I usually gravitate towards Armor & Swords, but won't be getting 17. Used and enjoyed his for 15 and 16. I'm not an avid NBA player tho.

Anyone seeing something off with foul calls since the update? The officiating has always been a bit of a mess and, it seems calls have always been quite biased toward the CPU, regardless of ref strictness. Of late though, I'm having roughly 1-2 playes a game injured by ridiculous CPU tackles (i.e. from behind, not even close to getting the usual 'magic CPU' touch on the ball, sliding between my player's legs, etc) that go unpunished. Rugby tackles--totally fine. Shirt pull? No problem. Slide tackling my attacker as he runs on to a through ball--well played, defender.

I've even been getting away with the occasional foul... such as when I successfully injured a particularly obnoxious opponent with a pretty violent two-footer from behind, directly in front of the ref. He played advantage and came back with a warning. Not a red, not a yellow.

The rest of the game has been playing more or less okay. I don't think the foul numbers have ever really reflected what happens in the match, but things feel a bit more unbalanced since the update.
