Matt I would like to know what values I can look to change specially in case of Full back positioning. My defense is too narrow which gives the opposition ample space to make cross field passes.The FB are almost in centre rather than keeping the shape a little wide. I dont know if its related to particular team since in the tactics settings too in defense I have kept width at a higher level so that they keep the width which might allow them some free space through middle if I m not alert in defending.

Are the majority of people playing on manual or assisted ? If manual how long did it take to adapt ? I played assisted on Ultimate difficulty and manual on World class but I'm getting slaughtered against world class

I play with everything manual
Except crossing is semi and the regular short pass is at assisted. I just feel at such a disadvantage with the manual regular pass and usually get killed when I try to use it. With the higher pass error it makes using assisted a lot better.

You can set them to aggressive interceptions, and they'll stay out wide a bit more. This is something I noticed in the pre-patch beta. The CPU loved to switch the ball. Which is probably why the midfield play was so good. The narrowness of the center is worth covering up though.

Not sure how this is going to work with the mass amounts of unlicensed South American teams.

The article mentions the teams like Boca Jrs, River Plate, Colo-Colo by name so I'm guessing the licensing won't be an issue. Can't under estimate the power of money. The tournaments are also getting added to career mode when the DLC drops.

I'd say they are making a push to integrate Conmebol just like the have with the Champions league. FIFA is pretty Euro-centric at the moment and I've been reading lately that EA is really pushing to extended the brand into South America what better way to do it than drop some DLC with licensed teams then in FIFA 21 suddenly all those teams are back in the mix along with the official tournaments.

I'm so frustrated with the gameplay since the new patch it feels completely broken.

On slow you can just run right through defences and get shots away with no pressure.

On normal everything goes at 100mph, animations are so fast and the ball seems to move not even in time with them. The game feels on rails.

Any adjustments just seem to make the game destroy itself with bizarre things happening and players running all over the place.

The only fix I could kind of find was moving acceleration down but then stamina is taken completely out the game.

I feel like my copy is broken or something but this also happened to me towards the end of fifa 19 and I had to stop playing.

With these sliders before the patch a few weeks ago it was working well. Afterwards it's an utter mess. Just venting but it seems it's just me as others seem to have it playing well.

Also I find if my acceleration is set to the same as the cup- I literally cannot tackle them. The animation is so slow that they are long gone. So I'd been playing with a 1 up to accel for me.

I play fully manual on ultimate - actually apart from semi for passing...

That's good news. One other competition I would like to see is the CONCACAF Champions League as the MLS can get quite boring without any other competitions.

I'm really never sure if my feedback is helpful at all since i play PCM, but i'll provide it again, please feel free to disregard

I somehow wasn't a fan of V2B3, something felt weird about the speed and positioning, i liked all previous sets more...

But either one or the combination of yesterdays patch + speed to 48 instead of 50 and FB position at 1 instead of 0 which you both suggested earlier makes the game play almost perfectly for me right now, really having a blast!

I personally disliked 48 sprint speed. Felt it really took away the physical gameplay and on slow speed I could blow by cpu defenders. There was also a lot less fouls. That’s jus my opinion in the 5-6 games played with that setting

That's good news. One other competition I would like to see is the CONCACAF Champions League as the MLS can get quite boring without any other competitions.

I worked all morning trying to tweak the sliders to work with world class and while I did manage to get the cpu to play pretty well and had some good games, one glaring issue kept sticking out even with a +2 sprint advantage... the cpu FB's still had that pause when I had my wingers making runs down the flanks.

I've also gone back to 50 sprint as well as lowered FT to 54 and FB at 1

Sprint discrepancy will ensure the CPU doesn't jog as soon, but the better advantage would be 2 pt acceleration discrepancy for both Pro and WC.
