Yeah, that stinks. You have to play the game like a blind man, and try not to create situations like this.

This is one of the reasons people say "it's too easy, even with sliders". I know how to score easy, non-realistic goals. But against the CPU, I try to play in a "fantasy" but realistic way. Not in a competitive-FUT-way. Last year, a user in this forum complained about how easy his career mode was, but he had five >90 overall players in his squad.

We offline people need to know that we are playing a game designed for online-competitive gamers only. The only way to make it realistic for us starts with a realistic way of playing the match.

That's right. I posted the same issue as you on page 31. I doubt EA will fix this because, for them, it's not a problem.

Thanks to everyone for making this game better year in and year out. Wanted to find out about a couple of settings - what about player based difficulty this year? Also what about orbit dribbling and trigger effect? Thanks!

Can anyone comment on these settings? Would love to know what others have. I play on FUMA, PS5

hey there, i think its the marking. i play on ultimate and with 50 marking the game is way to easy. ive put it on 80 and the defense is really aggressive then. i dunno if it helps

Small sample size so far but one thing I have noticed with V3 is that I'm now experiencing the lack of CPU crosses that a few other people have mentioned previously.

It seemed fine for me before but since I've made the V3 tweaks, CPU wingers will always drive into the box even when given ample room to cross and targets to aim for.

Any idea what slider(s) this might be linked to?

One idea I would like to test would be the tactic dealing with players in the box for crossing. Curious if this may be bugged depending on how many are selected to be in the box…..

Yesterday for the first time in 4+yrs I loaded up Fifa 14 n Fifa 16 , what a difference those games are . You just didn't see this kinda of crap before, it all changed for the worse once they introduced Frostbite .
These games are getting worse n worse each year n that's why I skipped the last 2 years and nothing has changed at all . It's still as bad as ever and sliders can't save this mess . Worst A.I in a sporting game . How can people still play this ?? There's just sooooo many different issues, game is so broken.

Please here we’re mostly trying to find solutions and way to make the game the most enjoyable experience possible it’s not a complaint forum ,i feel that it’s one of the best EAFC /FIFA/ in years teams have an identity unique to each and that whas never implemented in the game before ,before i would play one two match in a row then stop now i can legit play 4-5 cause I’m really enjoying,of course it has it’s flaws it’s a game designed for FUT online kids to play 5-4 4-3 scorline quick matches but that’s the point of Matt10 and the slider community find solution to make it the best possible simulation we can !!

We all use a mix of controls. Some are FUMA, some are semi/assisted, so they're not designed around any sort of controls.

The V2 works really well for me, I love it. I would love to play like this forever. It suits my playing style much better than the V3.
I'll stick with V2

Fair point, my criticising isnt helping anyone or anything. Not having a footy game to play for the last 2 yrs has made me miserable [emoji37]
I'm just super disappointed that to me it's the same game as , or I should say the same problems as the last games from 2-3yrs had n still are here . If people enjoy them ( even tho I can't ) then fair play to them .
I just can't get past the fact that simple basic fundamentals of footy are nearly non-existent in this game . But u are right , no point in complaining especially here where people are trying to fix this mess . So I apologize.
Now I'm gonna march to EA headquarters with pitchfork in hand n demand they fix this for us all .

Throughout roughly 20+ matches, I've never seen that behavior from the CPU. Do you really think we'd play the game and update a set if something like that happened?

Here's a match on Leg slow that I just played. Disregard the pause at the end as I had to stop early. Is there anything that resembles a passive AI here?
