It just takes all the fun (everything BUT match day, really.) out of it for me. To each their own, you can zoom through seasons in it - which is why it's there. For those with time constraints. It's not a bad mode for what it is, just not my cup of tea.

In other news, I just finished playing around in the Editor, and I'm hoping that I figured out how to revive the Royal League, this time with the 16 team option(4 Danish, 4 Norwegian, 4 Swedish, 2 Finnish, 2 Icelandic). Includes a Group Stage and 4 Knockout rounds, I'm going to test it now to see if it worked.Support Local Sports

Ah, doesn't seem like it's worth my time then, I enjoy everything about the game, I heard it was streamlined, so I was going to check it out, but meh at it now.

So after taking that 1-10 loss to Barcelona, I've not done to poorly, surprisingly easy Europa League games against Lisbon and Inter. I fully expect to take losses against Dortmund in both legs of the Europa League Semi-Final. But I also expected to lose to OM, Lisbon, and Inter.Support Local Sports

In other news, I managed to beat Dortmund 5-3 after both legs. Gotze and Hummels missed the first match at Dortmund. I get supreme luck sometimes.

Well, I can finish anywhere from 2nd-6th right now, but I think I'm going to focus on the Europa League and the Spanish Cup, as I've already gained qualifying to the Europa League next year.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Guardiola in my save in year 4 has taken over Manchester United. Since his take over he has constantly spammed trying to buy my players. He even offered €60m for Oscar which I denied. Our first match of the season ended 3-2 on a Cahill header.
Despite injuries I'm still 1st in the league and 9 points out of 9 in the CL. I must say though it has been pretty frustrating. I feel every match I have players getting injured. In the CL match against Sevilla I had 6 yellow cards in the first half and ended with 9 players but not because of cards but injuries. Frustrating but even with 9 we scored on a corner to win 3-1.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Noted. After reviewing the remaining fixtures, I should be able to concentrate on all three, it's not as congested as my January/February was (game every 3/4 days) My remaining two BBVA fixtures are Valencia and Getafe. Winnable games, but this is FM, so I'll probably lose.Last edited by Suntan Superman; 01-12-2013, 02:52 AM.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I'm up 2-0 on Barcelona 23 minutes in.
I won't go deep into tactics, but so far I think I've successfully frustrated Messi.
A 4-0 victory in the Spanish Cup Final!
Next up Galatasaray for the Europa League Trophy! Giving the players rest after this match, and rest before that match, I lost one of my centre-backs but I'll be fine with the backup(The actual starter most of the time, but got two red cards during the La Liga season, so I benched him)Last edited by Suntan Superman; 01-12-2013, 03:52 AM.Support Local Sports
