Are you guys mostly playing full blown version of FM or is anyone playing FMC? I'm itching to play again but full blown version is just too consuming for what free time I have.

I was thinking FMC is probably my solution but haven't really tried it. I also want to start in MLS and see if I can get a job in EPL some day,

    Any thoughts?
    Thanks guys

I think the majority of us are playing the full version judging by the screenshots. I can't really comment on FMC as I've not had a proper save with it but that's pretty much only because I love finding youth players and bringing them through and FMC doesn't do that for me.

That tactic isn't set up to have your striker scoring at a good clip, though, if that's what you're looking for.
I've been testing with that as I thought the same, but he just doesn't get the ball enough for my liking. What I'm trying to do is bring the striker deeper in order for the AMC (Cholakov) to drive into the space the striker is creating to either go it himself or give it off to his wingers.

You'd want to change the Trequartista to Shadow Striker then. Trequartista is more of a roaming playmaker, rather than a role that would drive forward. The Treq. could just as easily roam sideways when the IFs cut inside.

Back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

          Spoiler

It'll be an interesting next season (which will be 2019/20) for sure. The spine of my squad is still similar to the last time I was up in the top league, but this time I'll aiming to spend big on a couple of players who would really make a difference. As it stands, most of my team are capable of Premier League football, but I'm aiming to stay up this time, unlike last time when I felt relegation was a foregone conclusion.

Also, I feel Barcelona may have planned a few years in advance for this years Champions League Final. They're completely dominating the competition.

****ING BAYERN MUNICH! They had a player who's contract expires in 6 months, so I decide to try and sign him on a free. But nooooo, he decides to resign with them for 15k less than what I offer him.

Calling up an 18 year old from your academy and he scores the winner on his debut.

It's coming down to the last day of the season, I need to beat Frankfurt, and have Bayern lose or draw against HSV, we're tied on points, but Bayern are ahead about 20 goals on differential. Made it to the UCL Semi-Final and went out on a 4-3 aggregate loss to Manchester City, and lost in the Pokal Quarter Final to Schalke on penalties.

Also, got the most insane prospect I have ever seen in the history of me playing FM, a 14 year old with 20 determination, 14 passing, 11 free kick, 11 first touch, 17 work rate, 18 teamwork, and loads of stats I would've killed for out of a 29 year old during my first year at Iruna.

                  Here's to you Hamburger!~

Edit: we did our part, hamburger didnt. Finishing 2nd.

Arsenal offered me, and I might just go for it. Unsure still.

After getting acquainted with FM 14 on a few test saves, I'm rolling with Dynamo Dresden in the 2. Bundesliga. Should be interesting, I always have fun in Germany. I'll post screens and updates later when I'm at my computer.
Finally got this going, 10 matches in. Things have gone surprisingly well to start the season. The team is in great form after losing the first two matches of the year and they haven't lost since. I made a few slight tweaks tactically after those losses and it's paid off quite well.

It's still early in the season, so anything can happen. Although, considering Dresden is only expected to finish mid-table at best, this is a pretty nice start.

Decided I had too many good players coming through the youth system, and Hertha BSC had been too good to me up til this point for me to leave them. Should the Arsenal post become available again however, I will almost certainly take it.

A weird weird season, 3rd most goals scored and 2 most allowed. Thanks to Bayern winning the German Cup, I qualified for the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League.

I also took over El Tri, screw Canada for eliminating me in the quarters of the Gold Cup.

Switched from 4-3-2wingers-1 to a 4-2-3-1 asymmetric (or whatever it is)

We won 4-2 and 4-1... Hopefully this keeps up for a few weeks

Also I got the board to find a parent club... and Derby County!!

                            So happy!

So apparently Derby won't loan me anybody because im 3 leagues below them. Oh well... it was a move for the future

Here's the first third of the season. I'm currently sitting in 14th, 9 points clear of the relegation zone and 8 points shy of a promotion playoff spot.

                              Spoiler

My asymmetric formation didn't last long as you can see, but I'm beginning to realize that I have to mix up my formations and play style from time to time.

Also, my fan base grilled me for playing too defensively at home... oops. The next home fixture (Dag&Red) we started in control and then went counter after we were down 0-1. Score right before half in stoppage time and then another around the 75th minute.

Any tips on how to keep this run we've got going? Im battling with a few key injuries up front as well :/
