Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

We're ready to wreak havoc on the 2. Bundesliga. I'll probably end up losing my best player for around 8-10M, hopefully reinvest in the club as we're not doing so well on the financial side of things, We ruled the roost in the 3. Liga, Part of me is thinking we'll just sit back for two seasons let some kids develop and then take over, the other part of me is loving our 38 game unbeaten in league streak, and quite frankly, I don't want to see it end. Depending on the financial situation(I'm debating asking for pay cut to reduce the financial stress, I'd go down to the minimum just for the reduction) I'm here for the long haul, and we've already got some good-great players coming in to the team from the youth system this year, so it'll be interesting.

Normally, when the board sells players without my consent, it's quite infuriating, however, I don't care at this point, I'm slashing the wage bill anyway, I'm bringing in more Dortmund/Bayern/etc rejects to fill holes, we WILL not be relegated, and I WILL get the absolute most out of this squad.

10 from corners, 6 from mad scramble clean ups is about the ratio I'd give.

How about this for a CL group: PSG, Barca, City, Dortmund.

                    Woot?

My board gave me about 240K per week for wages, there are 9 players in BPL that makes more than that per week 6 plays for City.

I have young players with potential in a lot of of my positions, so I'm hoping for the best. My team is meh at best and two of my better players have a contract expired at the end of the year but I can't get them to sign an extension because I can't offer much. Thought about selling them, but I'm going to try and keep them for the year and hopefully stay up.

I use the weekly auto save option just in case that happens.

In your preferences, change rendering from GPU Assisted to Software if you haven't already. This has almost completely eliminated in-match crashes for me. I've had one since I made the switch, and I used to get 2-3 per session.

This is a sort of end of season update, more because I've got a bit excited that I've probably wrapped up the league before the last day! I'm currently 20 points clear with 8 games left.

My European run this year was a lot shorter but quite bizarre. After destroying Avenir Beggen in the 2nd Qualifying Round 13-0 on aggregate, we were ourselves destroyed by Celtic 8-1 on aggregate. That meant dropping into the Europa League playoffs where we lost to Spanish side Sevilla 6-3 on aggregate.

We're only losing two players, although they aren't starters so they're no big loss. I'm writing this before the youth intake, but we've only kept 1 player and I still wonder slightly why I've kept him as he's not good enough, but can cover both full back positions.

                            I miss having good players.

This is why I often times keep players who probably don't deserve it. Nico Knystock on my Dresden team isn't a guy I wanna play often, but he's great just to have cover.
