You just have to make sure that you make the changes in any and all db folders. Repeat the steps in both the '1400' and '1430' folders. The instructions on the post that I linked only had the 1430, so for you two, I'm pretty sure that your saves were using the 1400 database.

Also, keep in mind that for existing saves only the competition names and German callups will be fixed. You have to start a new save for the rest of the fixes to work (journalist stuff, official club names, etc.)

Well, it hasn't gotten any worse since I started. I've dropped the average age of the squad by 4 years, and we're doing the best Inter have since I started my save. Santon and Zlatan have been great since rejoining Inter. Vid Belec has been surprisingly solid in goal as well.

FM14 is on sale for 50% off at the Humble Store if there's anyone out there that was still waiting on sales and the patches to be dropped.

Not the in-game editor. I believe you have to use the resource editor before you start a game to change the in-game kit colors.

I heard the other in-game editor allows you to change kits on the fly, which sounds like something I would like to do, if only because I normally stay at a place for 4-10 years. I'm just leery of using an in-game editor that's not SI supported.

I'm already in my 4th year but I just wanted to share this because as a United fan, the only way for me to cope is to win in FM.

Never managed this in 2012 (last FM I owned before 2014), so I was quite happy to achieve the sextuple in my 2nd year in charge. Maybe I should get hired.

After selling Samir Handovic to Liverpool a mere week into my tenure at Inter, I'm now set to face him in the Europa League Final. Hilariously, the entire lead up to this match has been about the quality of Luis Suarez, and with one day separating me from Marco Van Basten's Liverpool squad, Suarez goes down. I also come to find out that Coutinho and Luke Shaw are out for Liverpool. If I win this for a double(possible treble with the Italian Cup), it might feel like one of the most hollow victories I've ever had. Arguably three world class players missing the match.
