My scouts love Tielemans, so I'm thinking of bidding for him, but they say he'll cost anywhere between 20.5 - 33.5 mil USD. If it's in the lower end of that range, that's a great price. Upper end? Well then there might be better options for the price. But if you could get him at Forest that would be a real coup.

EDIT: And the transfer embargo just came in. Thiago had just agreed to sign for me, but thanks to the embargo the transfer was canceled. I had to battle 6 clubs for his signature, so hopefully he doesn't sign with one of them before the embargo is lifted.

And the new chairman wants to replace me with Guardiola. CRAP. And, of course, they won't let me sign anyone while uncertainty remains over my future at the club. Fun times in my managing career. Fun times indeed.

And I was sacked. A Capital One Cup Win, FA Cup Win, and 2nd place league finish in my first season apparently wasn't good enough. Now to find new employment.

Brutal. Did Daniel Levy infiltrate your board?

Just encountered a season-ruining bug. Finished 3rd in the Scottish Championship. The promotion playoffs are set up where 3rd plays 4th. Then the winner of that plays 2nd. Then the winner of that plays the 11th placed team in the Scottish Premiership. All two-leg playoffs.

We beat Dumbarton in the first round. We beat Rangers in the next round. I'm feeling good going into my date with Inverness CT to see if we're promoted with a week and a half of rest. But wait a second...the game is prompting the end of season meeting. I think whatever.

But then I realize why it matters. On the selection screen for the first match all my players have a condition around 80% and they're all tired. The game thinks we are in vacation, so we haven't been training. Garbage. We clawed our way through the two legs to lose on aggregate 2-3 in games 2 days apart. Starting the second match we were all 75% and tired. We could have easily beat them full strength. I'm pissed.

LOL, probably. Actually, it was Ralph Krueger who led the consortium and is the new chairman. Quite an upgrade from Southampton for him.

Roma just offered me a job with a 71 mil transfer budget and 169 mil wage budget.
Ajax offered me a job with a 30 mil transfer budget and 140 mil wage budget.
Real Madrid just offered me an interview.

Roma were unwilling to let me delay, and since I wasn't sure if I would get the RM job, I am now the new manager at Roma. The board want me to secure Europa League football, play attacking, and sign youth. I don't think Europa League qualification will be too difficult (I hope those aren't famous last words), so I'm in a good position to impress the board.

Damn that sucks, all that hard work for nothing.

I think I finally got a 3-5-2 tactic to work after failing gazillion times in the past versions of FM.

I have this hilarious problem right now, my Chief Scout is set to do scouting team assignments, but every month he asks me to stop scouting the Tercera Division. It happens once a month, and it's getting to the point that it's funny.
