One thing I've grasped from my first week of FM15 - Leeds are useless.

No wingers so I'm sort of forced into playing a narrow formation which doesn't seem to work.

We have some young talent but they aren't ready to carry a team.

Quick question - if you turn the first transfer window budgets off, do you receive a full budget for the first January?

To be fair that is true to real life mate!

PERFORMANCE

Optimised save game speeds
Fixed game launch issues linked to local user permissions
Fixed rare crash on continue
MATCH ENGINE

Improved defensive reactions to crosses and corners
Tweaked wide defending of wingers
Improved goalkeeper reaction times after an initial save
Various other goalkeeper improvements
Fixed further instances of own goals being awarded incorrectly
Fixed further instances of players not being given offside when collecting rebounds
Fixed rare instances of U18 teams starting match with only a goalkeeper, resulting in high scorelines
Fixed problem where AI teams would sub many of their players off the pitch without replacements, resulting in high scorelines

New update is wonderful. Really glad it doesn't take 5 minutes to save anymore. In my 4th season and so far I am on par to do how I do every season.

so I ended up in the promotion playoff, and a few lucky bounces later, i'm in the final. 20 draws got us through somehow, and I was able to beat up on the smaller teams, I won 2-1 in the home fixture, and I'm strongly debating throwing this game, at the same time, I wonder if it will force a much-needed cash injection into the club then if that doesn't work I'll just jump ship.

We'll see how this goes, and I got the achievement Spanish Hero, I've renewed the loanees that I could and signed a few guys, but I am going to be abandoning this dumpster fire as quickly as i can

I'm in my 4th season with nottingham forest, in my first season won the championship, in my second got like 14th, then 6 in my third, but now my team is really struggling and falling apart, I use a sort of strange tactic a 5-2-1-2 which has been successful but now my team just can't win any games, I've introduced a possession tactic to mix it up sometimes but, we just cant win games. Also my team has had some changes, but most of my best performers stayed, and are just underperforming. What can I do to change this and has anyone else had a similar experience

Edit: And now I've been sacked, well great now I just wasted the last 3 weeks of my life

That's rough bro. How many games in to that 4th season and what league position? Seems strange that they would give you the boot after 3 great years. Surely the increased club stature should have been enough to give you some time to turn things around.

Well, I jumped ship at Real Union, the board came back with budgets of 100k and 70k/week, and I didn't feel that was enough for me to feel comfortable in staying up in La Liga, so I resigned, spent most of the year unemployed, then latched on to an Atalanta team fighting off relegation in Serie A, managed to do enough to survive, and now we're remaking the image of the team, I have no idea what the previous manager was trying to do as players were all over the place, most of them were sold(thankfully for, or only slightly below value on the hard to sell players) and there's 15 new faces. I expect some struggles to begin the year, especially against Milan, Inter, Roma, Sampdoria, Napoli and Juventus. Hopefully we'll find our form and hit our strides before Christmas, or I might be unemployed again.

In other news, Spurs and Newcastle were relegated from the BPL. Spurs seem to have hit a financial crisis with Daniel Levy.

Are you guys enjoying FM 15? I'm considering purchasing it tonight, but I went to Steam and there are a ton of negative reviews, mainly about the match engine being ****, tons of injuries and cards, and players becoming unhappy left and right. Are you guys seeing that too?

The match engine is definitely better than last year when players were skating all over the field.

And the injuries and unhappiness were pretty much fixed in the last patch, at least from what I'm seeing in my save.

I'm really enjoying the game.

FM15 is the best its been in a few years.

Match engine being **** is something some people say every year. The rest has been toned down in patches. It is harder to keep players happy - or I should say that having a cancer is much more damaging to the team overall than it has been in the past.
