Does all your stuff include game saves? I would love to continue my team usa/newcastle campaign - year 2013.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
2010 suppose to have custom leagues and divisions, is true, and does it work well. Would love to finally have a game with right MLS setup. This might be one feature that gets me to upgrade.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I used the "retain top division players from continent x" option for each continent and then the "retain international players from continent x" option for each continent; I didn't check off each country individually.
I'm using all of my stuff from FM09...it works perfectly fine. I've gotten through 2 preseason games with Stuttgart. My first was a 4-0 victory over Stuttgart II and I just won 2-1 over FC Eindhoven thanks to a late winner from Julien Schieber. I've only made one signing thus far, with that being Jonathan Pitroipa from HSV. The game's looking amazing, but I need more time to digest the new version.
Came out to a whopping 99000 players which is typically what I would get in late years game when I set up games. We'll see how this runs. I hate how this game though when you click recommend setup gives me drastically smaller amount of leagues and DB that I know I can run on this PC. Speed has never been an issue for me in this game even when running a ton of leagues and large DB's.Comment

I will probably be downloading this tonight, any recommendations for things to download before I start?Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
The essentials that I would get that are non-cosmetic changes (Like Logos, Kits, Skins, Facepacks, Backgrounds) would be the Real Competition and Team fixes. You'd get that here http://sortitoutsi.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=42781
Once you download it you will place the file in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2010\data\db\1000\lnc\all. Just place it inside the "All" folder. That's the path if you have downloaded it from Steam.
Aside from that, once you get the game go to http://www.fmglive.com/forums/index.php?showforum=6 and just navigate around and you'll see everything that is available to download for the game such as Kits, Logos and everything else that makes the game look better.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Well, It's been purchased and installed. I've started a game without anything for now, I just want to get used to it for a while. I'm gonna start a game as Chicago and probably manage the national team too.
<s>EDIT: Is it possible to manage the international team on startup? How so?</s>
Never mind.Last edited by Whitesox; 10-30-2009, 11:49 PM.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
nevermind also, figured it out. haha
I figured out how to make MLS correct, I think, will have to make to seperate new leagues, eastern conference and western conference. Might work, going to test. Making new teams is easy enough; so if you wanted to make Philly, Vancouver, and Portland you can also.:wink:Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Managing Stuttgart was too easy. I started a new save managing the USMNT, with the intention of moving to a club late in the first season and perhaps a better national squad as well.YNWA
