Just got done with my season with Barcelona in FM. Won La Liga, Got beat in the first knock round in the CL by Chelsea in PK's. Pretty damn good year by Villa and Messi. Hazard was the best young player who I brought in in Jan of last year.

Starting a new save with the Red Bulls. Thinking about experimenting with a
4-3-3, with Henry, JPA, and Richards up top. I will start in 2010, and let JPA go after the season. Agudelo will be a key figure coming off the bench.

Won my first friendly against my farm team NYRB 5-0. Richards had 2, Henry, Lindpere, and Mendes each had 1.

The Super Mario era at QPR came to an end at the start of the new year. I sold him for $26M to Barca.

With that money, I brought in Andy Carroll and Danny Welbeck.

Loss Breno for 8 months, which meant I went and bought Roger Johnson for 8M

Anyway when starting a save, always begininng of 2010 to play 2010 WC??? Frustrating to start a national team save and have to do friendlies forever until next cycle and tourneys start in 2011.

You could load the Russian league and start in January 2010.

Of course, you'd have to pick a team that is in the WC.

I'm not sure that the WC would load. You might have to start a Russian league and choose January 2011.

I'm not sure that the WC would load. You might have to start a Russian league and choose January 2011.

I think 2010 WC is totally out of the game for some reason?? Anyways will try the latter, 2011 to help move things along. thanks!

They were in deep ****.

9 games in charge. 7 wins, 2 draws.

From 17 points to 40. 13th in standings to 5th, 10 points out of first. 14 games to go in season.

Bought Suarez and Obertan.

Kicking some major arse with Arsenal so far. I basically kept my squad intact and only added some youngsters. There are too many players to rotate anyway. I thought about signing a reliable keeper, but only ended up adding Jack Butland to develop. Fabianski's my no. 1. I also signed Phil Jones and Jordan Spence as centre backs

Guess I haven't posted an update in awhile for the Liverpool save.

Over the weekend, completed the 2017-2018 season. Finished 2nd in the league (again) after leading most of the way and then having a disastrous 4-match losing streak. Arsenal overtook me with about 4 matches left in the season. In my 8 seasons, league finish has been: 4, 1, 2, 2, 2, 4, 2, 2 (or something like that).

However, we won the Carling Cup, FA Cup, and Champions League (went through Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Schalke, and Barca in that order). So I guess that made up for the disappointing end to the season. I was also the manager of Switzerland (3rd in the World) for the 2018 World Cup. We got knocked out in the Quarterfinals by Portugal. Ukraine ended up winning it.

2018-2019 season is underway. Slow start in the league (1-2-0). Won the Community Shield over Arsenal and the Euro Super Cup over Juventus.

Drew a ridiculously easy CL group, so we should be through as winners of the group with a couple matches to spare.

Wound up finishing 3rd with Inter, and made the Champions League Final against Barcelona.

Well a moment of brilliance from Messi, and there went my chance at my first ever trophy.



Looking at 3 players for the summer period, De Gea, Pjanic/Kroos, and Chicharito.
