    So in the replayed game...

I kind of feel dirty about this result (because of the circumstances)... but still, WOW!!

I thought for sure that when we went a man down it was over, but the boys pulled it through at applied the pressure and the goal finally came!

Once I get the players in depending on age, nationality, and potential I sort them where they will start their development. The general set up is that players stay at the U-19 team until their 18(Sometimes 17 if their potential is great). Then they make their way for a year at Barca At. they have to have EU passport to play in this squad so non EU's stay in U-19's until able. Then a loan out to a another squad at around age 20.

Done talking heres my squad in 2013.

Already on our way to a great season.

Some of my best players under 19

That's exactly what I've tried to do with my Barca team. I love building teams this way - makes the game far more enjoyable although I love signing one star player every so often too

With the new patch out, I'm going to start as Chelsea - a team in dire need of a revamp of youth and strive to build using the way I build my Barca squad My Arsenal save is going well too.

Congrats on the win (and a draw that appears to be handle-able).

Are you using a backgrounds pack that is conscious about not having any super white backgrounds? I was using a background pack at one point but a majority of the teams had unreadable backgrounds, thus rendering it useless.

              If so, link?

                  ---------------------------------------------

My career save has officially kicked off. Started unemployed/Sunday league/10.3 db/January 2011.

                  Leagues loaded:

So after applying for all of the vacant jobs at the start of the game, I landed at Canical in the Portuguese 2nd Division - North. When I took over they were 5th, 12 points out of first place (and a promotion playoff spot), and about halfway through the season. Here is the table after one match.

The curious thing about this team: They shouldn't be anywhere near the top. The board had expected a brave fight against relegation, and the media predicted 13th, which is the first relegation spot. Hopefully I can keep us in the mid table given this head start, and then turn it around in the off season.

                  My tactics:

I haven't changed much with them, except I changed the mentality slider on my anchorman dmc so that he is almost completely defensive. This is because I am playing a 15 and a 16 year old at centre back currently, though 2 other players returning from injury might result in me reducing that.

The rest of the tactic is pretty basic, I'm trying out something I read a while ago that explored the benefits of playing 5 players that are clearly defensive and 5 that are offensive, it seems to have worked ok in my first match- a 3-0 win away.

P.S.: Our emblem looks like someone drew it in MS Paint

                        noob question:

I have to start a new game for the new transfers from the latest patch to take effect, correct?

                          Correct.

Every other fix should work, but for transfers you need a new game.

ugh, the month of March 2019 was not kind to me, lost my top three forwards in a span of 3 weeks. All out for 3-5 months.

Good thing I made a late signing in the January window for a young striker.

EDIT: In my next game, another striker goes down for 6 weeks.

                                So I've been sacked...

To be honest, the squad wasn't built to be able to juggle league and European campaigns. Despite that, I was hovering mid-table in the league and not too far from 2nd in Europe. Obviously, the board (wrongly) thought that wasn't good enough...
