How about losing Ashley Cole and Timmothy Chandler in the same game due to red cards?

Oh, and it was Cole's first game since his last outright red.

I've had it up to my head on Cole. He's either hurt or always friggin getting red cards.
Haha, I can share in that.

He's always bitched as well about the fines I've handed him about his red cards. Fortunately my time with Cole is coming to an end as a rotation player.

I've never had a problem with him and cards at all, even yellow, and I run a very aggressive tactic. He is one of my most reliable players.

Had my team relegated after one year in 1.Bundesliga. I think Iwe'll be right back in it after this upcoming season after our performance in the second half. The team started slow and took only 5 points from the first 17 games, but finished the season with 25 points total. I know it's not much but 20 points from 17 games for a newly promoted side is amazing to me.

          * My best player Daniel Halfar tried requesting a transger to a bigger side but I convinced him to stay on. He's worth 3M euros right now and I'm looking for nothing less than 10M euros which I think he will be worth in two years.

Still can't believe Van der Vaart and his 18 penalty attribute missed the first one out of the gates. SMH.

                I finally bought 12.

I feel like a kid in a candy store when playing it.

Is the trophy what you'll be hanging your hat on when you only qualify for Europa?

That's what keeps us coming back and loading up the damn game. Nomar that trophy will the be the turning point that sends us back into the top 4

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

On another forum we are doing a FM Challenge League. The first one was being the manager of the Great Britain Olympic Team with the rules that:

                      1) No one from the Final England Euro 2012 team can be selected.
                      2) You have to have 3 Scotts, 3 Welsh, and 3 N. Ireland players in the squad.

Here's the team I settled for:

                      Spoiler

Bale had like a 3 day injury that was going to be good before the Olympics

We turned it on in the 2nd half of a Friendly against Mexico to win 3-0 loss, then we run thru the group stage, beating Japan, the U.S., and Nigeria by a combined score of 10-1. Drew Mexico in the Qtr Final, I was feeling good about my chances.

Then the FM gods came crashing down.

Chicharito turned into Superman and my keeper imploded leading us to a 4-0 loss. It didn't help the fact that Mexico went on to beat Spain again in the Semis (Mexico won in the group stage, but then lost to the Ivory Coast to lose the group).

Brazil won because someone not Neymar went HAM (had like 10 goals in the group stage alone).

I really only started playing before the holidays this year, so I'm a bit behind the pace on FM12 compared to previous versions. That said, I'm completely hooked!

Currently at the end of January 2012, transfer window about to close, and the EPL table looks like this:

Here are some of the top January transfers. I also purchased Leandra Damiao for an initial fee of £9.5M w/another £5M over 36 months....he will replace the scoring of Adebayor since I won't be able to meet his excessive wage demands in the summer.

These are my Spurs stats... Bale was hurt in the early season with a hamstring, then after missing 3 months he got injured again in conditioning, so he's played a 4(3) matches for my club, and has been largely disappointing when he has been fit.

And I've been fending off offers from Man City for Modric, VDV & Bale (crap offers, like £18M over 36 month type offers)....but Modric is unhappy & wants a new contract.

I had a nice run of wins in the EPL & Europe from October to December, but I lost to arsenal 2-1 away, drew wolves at WHL 0-0 in a Carling Cup semi match, lost on the 2nd leg 4-nil and most recently managed to draw Birmingham at home 0-0 in the FA Cup.....and there was a nil-nil home draw to Norwich mixed in there. My season has really run hot & cold, but it's been a blast!

Games like those are the most stressful games ever (probably except for 1-0 games where you get all the chances and can't get one to go in, but the other team gets one and knocks it through).
