The nice thing is that your "experimental young squad" when you're with Brazil is probably about the 5th best team in the world.

Yeah, but despite winning my world ranking keeps dropping. Now I'm 12th after starting 7 or 8.

Anyway, I hope it doesn't come out of nowhere. Everything is okay or stable at the moment

Your firing WILL come out of nowhere, if it happens. And if past FMs are any indication, it's not a matter of "if" but "when." I'm pulling for you, but I'd recommend getting that world ranking up, and fast.

In FM 10, when I was with Munich, they fired a guy who lost in the WC Final on penalties, then were looking for yet another new manager after losing to Italy in a friendly. They then offered me the job, mistakenly believing that I would ever in a million years leave the Spanish National Team to go get fired in Brazil.

My new Wolves save has a ton of potential. I cannot believe how loaded that team can be. The only thing they need is a good coaching staff, which is simple enough, IMO.

Thanks for all the advice guys - I'll let you know how it goes. I thought earlier why I was nervous, then went "oh, I've got Belarus in the Olympic quarterfinals tonight" and it made sense. PES/FIFA never got me feeling like this! I've read about how people have worn suits for cup finals in the game and have constant back and forth in their heads during the workday, and now I can totally relate

The problem with Brazil in this year's game at least is their ranking is going to drop because they have nothing to play for until 2014.

So glad they found a fix/patched for the MLS problem exclusively to the Mac version (second season would never start, playoffs table wasnt working, etc)

They were completely unaware about this 2 months ago.

Thats the type of customer service I like to see!

                    That's good news, Jukeman.

I just wish the game didn't need to be started from scratch for new changes to take effect. I didn't know about the German national team fix until after I played a little bit, then thought it would be too much work to start over.

This is a continual kick in the guy. I bought it full price last Monday on steam. Later in the week it's on amazon for 6 and now it's even on steam for less.

WOW. Just won gold at the Olympics with Brazil...beat Spain 1-0 in the final (deservedly, outplayed them) and Great Britain 3-2 in the semis. What a rush!! I've never been nervous/stressed over a video game before, nor have had more of a sense of accomplishment. What a game!

An aside - I love how all my assistants say to "do it for the fans" in the pep talk. This gets no response from my players - and worse, once got an angry response. They've accurately portrayed today's modern footballer!

Recently I purchased a MSI gaming laptop but the problem is the screen is a 1080p screen and because of this all the text in FM seem small. I don't want to decrease the resolution as it won't be as clear. Is there any FM skin out there that allows the option or offers larger text?

Alt - I'm not sure. I actually prefer the smaller font because I have a custom view for my squad with all the information I need at my fingertips and that allows for more space. When I first did that on my current widescreen monitor, it took some time to get used to, but now I would never go back. I play windowed mode in full screen except for a little space for my toolbar at the bottom.

Just finished the 2015-16 season on my Liverpool save and...

I'm not sure how to get images that are easy to read, so that's a league title and a CL win.

Unless you did the quadruple and also won the CC and FA Cup, I'm not impressed.

Congrats. After that season, you must surely be a club legend and number 1 in the North American Hall of Fame.

No, for this one I made up an English manager. Lost in the quarters of the CC (almost on purpose, lol) and the semis of the FA Cup ending my almost 4-year unbeaten streak in that competition. I got pretty lucky that Marseille took out Barca 5-1 on aggregate in the CL finals. My group was Lyon, Besiktas, and (cannon fodder that I don't remember). I almost didn't make it out of the group. My last match was at Besiktas and I needed to win or draw, and they needed to win to advance. It ended up 0-0, and they were blasting forward like crazy at the end trying to win. I have no idea how they didn't score actually. I beat CSKA Moscow, Lyon, Man City, and Marseille in the knockouts.
