Yeah, if you're playing for the first time, I recommend going with a big club.

Edit: It was a skin issue, all fixed now

So my Manager Career at Peterborough United has started off on a rather good note!, had some close calls but the boys have come through with some late winners!, went on a 7 game streak without losing too until a recent defeat too Milwall.

I have to give a lot of credit too my assistant coach Grant McCann as a new manager I left him in charge of training and has done a great job keeping the boys sharp!. I haven't tried too change much in my first season I've established that I wan't too play a 4-4-1-1 Counter attacking style of Football too use our quick strikers. I've also asked the board to get a senior affiliation and we agreed Chelsea would be our Senior affiliate but I haven't brought any Chelsea players on loan just yet!. I will try too add more staff and build the club from the foundation up, I'm still feeling my way through the job but I feel I am off to a good start!...I will have too look more into training the players myself and developing youth players!

The journey continues, after 308 days on the job at Torino, I netted a second place finish in the Serie A, Torino's highest place in awhile. Asked the board for a slightly bigger wage budget for the upcoming year, they declined, asked for a new contract since my old deal was only for two years, was declined, and after leaking that conversation to the press, I resigned from Torino.

        The career so far:

All time goal scorer in club history can't get in the squad because of this guy.

I expect him to get injured soon, just because that's how FM goes.

            Hey chaps, really dumb question.

Haven't played FM since 2012, but have had 2016 for awhile and never played more than the demo.

So I'm trying to start up a game, and even though I've added leagues in the editor data how the heck do you start with a team outside of England?!

When I start a new game England is my only option, and there's nowhere to even change the database size like in past years.

Once in the game I know I can "add/remove leagues" but how do you start with any club you'd like?

After you create your manager, it should take you to the team select and put you in the PL.

Top left you'll see "use favourite team" click that and it will give you drop down menu of the leagues you selected.

First a quick update, spent a year unemployed following my departure from Torino, then got hired as Japan's National Manger, after qualifying them for the 2022 World Cup, I've moved on and become the new Dortmund Manager. After Torino, I applied for the Dortmund job but they gave it to Paco Jemez instead, he did fine in his one year, but his second year everything started falling apart, and Dortmund were in 12th place when I took over.

Krebstar, you should get to a menu that looks like this:

The drop down menu is where you select

Right, that's how it always was in past games. But when I "start" a new game, England is the only nation I can select, just as it was in the demo.

So confused. 2012 was so long ago, haha.

Edit: I think I know the issue—when I went from demo to full game I think I copied over the whole data folder, which was dumb of me. Going to reinstall now.

Nope, but it looks familiar from years ago. I installed some custom things on the demo, and then I moved over the entire "data" folder onto the full game, and I think that is where I messed it up.

Completely uninstalling and reinstalling now. Should do the trick...

EDIT: Working now!! Now it's time to get fired from Arsenal after not winning the league in my first year.

If Arsene can make it 12 years from his last title, you should be fine

He actually won it in the first season of my Southampton save and promptly retired at the start of the second!

Currently on a 9 game winning streak, 2 points behind PSG with 5 games left and then..

Anyone have any tips for a formation or defending against a side like Barcelona? I of course have them in the CL group stage.
