I don't want to attack you, so please do not take this the wrong way.

I don't get the concept of cheating in a game like this. You're not competing against anyone other than the Computer, and if you've played, you know that normally, they have enough advantages as it is. Some people have mocked my screenshots because I have the in-game editor, I use it, normally to edit aesthetic things, but last year I wanted the game to fully recognize a rivalry that I felt was brewing after multiple heated contests, last minute winners, red cards, etc. Did I "cheat" to make that game appear more important? Who cares, it's my game, I did it because it would make me enjoy it more. I've used the editor to transfer players I like away from teams I don't like. The beauty of this entire game is that you get to do whatever you want during it. If you feel it's "cheating" and will ruin your enjoyment, don't do it. Don't worry about it otherwise.

In other news, I did a soak test to 2070. It appears as though everything is going well in long-term saves, I'm going to start some clubs off with more money though as I'd like for them to improve quicker, also gonna do some mass edits to facility ratings so they don't take forever for every non-MLS club to work up. The finances appear to balance very well though. I got the logopacks done, and just gonna do a quick 5-year soak to make sure I fixed the final location for the US Cup, add in the new finances, and then it's time to finally play this game!

Last match is at Blackburn, win or draw, I get automatic promotion to PL. Lose and I get to enjoy the playoffs.

Edit: PL money, here I come

I've finally started playing (no issues so far!), and I'm so mad that I spent so much time editing because this is the most fun I've had playing FM in ages.

It's a quite brilliant game, the new features add so much more depth. The tactics, training & mentoring all add a huge amount and it's without doubt the best FM I've ever played.

After trying a few different leagues over the past few years, I've come to the realization that the EFL Championship is the hardest league to manage in. The talent pool in that league is ridiculous this year. So if anyone wants a challenge, I'd recommend choosing a team in the EFL Championship.

I've rarely gone from elation to misery so fast. A top of the table clash in the middle of the first round of games.

Alan Pardew's taken over at the Ottawa Fury of the USL Championship.

I'm debating burning everything FM related I own to the ground.

After six seasons in the VNL, we are finally going up to league two. And now the board can't refuse to turn pro! But with my luck so far in this save, we will more than likely end up going right back down.

I've wanted to quit this save so many times and do something else. But I can't let it beat me. I can't given in. I also probably shouldn't have played so much FM over the holiday break either. I played through four season in something like 6 days.

Our run in the VNL: 16th, 18th, 8th (missed playoff by one point), 13th, 15th and 1st (won the league on last day by one point). I fully expected to finish second and lose in the playoffs for a seventh season however.

Now to contemplate spending my transfer budget and putting us in debt in hopes of staying up.

Just bought a gaming PC on black friday. I'll use it for many different things, but to have something to play FM on that doesn't crash constantly will be very nice. My 5 year old laptop just couldn't handle it. Excited to buy FM19.

Made it to the winter break, so far no actual issues, only aesthetic ones that have now been fixed. Now it's time to really step up our Promotion bid though!
