I’m playing as Bury Town in the 7th tier of England.

Never done a journeyman save. Very interesting, to say the least..

I've never been so annoyed with this game like I am right now.

I finished 8th with this team last season.

Finally decided on a save for the year! - Exeter City, Exeter City have been in the League since 1901 and never made it higher than League One!

Bank Balance is a bit tight, but brought in Ex-England International David Platt as an Assistant Manager and a new Head of Youth Coach from Scotland Stevie Campbell.

Haven't really settled on a tactic yet, but the squad doesn't have much ability on the wings due to injury so most likely something more Narrow, possibly a 4-3-1-2 with two experienced strikers up top Poacher Nicky Ajose and Target Man Ryan Bowman...Been a long time since i've had 2 strikers up top...and never really fancied Target Man before!.

I set up a very gruelling and intense Pre-Season...But thats the Philosophy I like to imprint on my teams, "Train Well, Play Well" There's no room for passengers on my ship!. Building a Dynasty at a club is not easy, so the work must be put in on the pitch!, I'm looking for Professionals who want to grow with this club and achieve success....

The squad is quite unbalanced, overloaded with strikers around the ages 18-20 who should be sent out on Loan and ageing players lacking athleticism in their late 20's. There is some quality in this squad for League Two tho and some players out with injury, so it's not all doom and gloom.

Two young players stand out to me as potential youngsters that could break into the First team. Jack Sparkes and Archie Collins, I'll be monitoring their training and development as a progress through the season, aiming to get get every bit of potential out of them!

The Club is expecting we finish in the Top Half, while the media thinks we're going to be placed around 15th!. Time to prove them wrong!

As playable as it's ever been, still have some Legacy issues that affect long-term saves, the US still only gets youth intakes through academies. signing players is still incredibly difficult, and the game still doesn't quite get the DP buy-down with TAM.

                    Exeter City 2019/20 Update

Started off the season pretty well sitting comfortably in the top half sitting in 6th position much higher than the media prediction of 15th, and above the required "Top half" of the clubs vision!. Alot of expiring contracts at the end of the season so will most likely be rebuilding alot of the squad, mainly the Defence and Midfield. *(can't sign anyone until the winter break as First Transfer window turned off!) So for now, Im working with the squad available, and being cautious with finances not to over spend!.

Had to make do with a Narrow 4-3-1-2 due to some injuries but overall the formation has got us into this position!. Nicky Ajose has had a great start to life at Exeter City, scoring 11 goals so far and reviving his career, I have been using him as a Poacher combined with Alex Bowman as the Target Man, if the opposition sit deep I drop the Line of Engagement and turn Ajose into an Advanced Forward to Attack the space, still misses some one on one's tho.

With January Transfer window just around the corner I'm currently looking to bring in a few players to help the squad push on for the top 6!

I'm currently in contract talks with 29year old CB Jordan Spence, A veteran who played a few seasons at Championship level for Ipswitch Town and even a few Premier League Games for West Ham early in his career, would be a massive signing for Exeter City, He can play RB but a 6'2 frame and Attributes fit nicely for a Centre Back in League Two, also currently have ex Man City youth prospect Aaron Nemane on trial too. Nemane looks like he could be very explosive of the wing and still has lots of potential, Exeter City could be a nice home for him!.

I haven't been playing a lot of FM. I'm just not feeling it so far this year. I think I have a general FM burnout from going so hard for so many years in a row. Its weird. I want to play. But as soon as I start playing, I'm like well I don't actually want to do this right now. Every time.

FM17 this started for me, I have a hard time getting in to saves as easily as I used to, I started an unemployed save, I started a Pro Vercelli save, I started a Forward Madison save, I worked on my own database a little bit, Started a St. Pauli save, started a South American save, and only managed to really catch that fire with my latest, where I just selected a team in each country I selected, and waited for one of those jobs to open up, so now I'm the manager of Orleans in France.

I personally think this match engine is the worst in a while.

I also just had a 3 match run where I had to play United away in Europa, City away in the league, and United again at home I Europa.

Lost 1-0 away to United, 3-0 to City, and beat United 2-1 but got KO’d on away goals.

Same here, I think I need a long break from the game.

On the flip side from you guys, I took a lengthy break and just got back into FM19 the other day. Wrapped up my first season with VNS's Truro and missed the playoffs on the last day thanks to a loss and a win by another team.

Went through the off-season, added two strikers, a new CM, new CB and promoted some young high potential guys for depth and training. I'm never certain how I do in the off-season, it's still one of the most overwhelming and difficult parts of the game for me.

So far, very good! I've played 4 games, won all of them by a combined score of 11-1. I was predicted to finish 7th but this has been the best 4 game streak I've ever gone on in FM (limited playtime compared to you guys). Let's hope we can keep this up!

EDIT: Well, so much for that, 6 games without a win...3 draws, 3 losses. Lame lame lame
