Looking to purchase FM18? It's still in my games library, otherwise?

As soon as the new one comes out the previous years is de-listed from steam for purchase.

Been that way since FM12 (when steam became mandatory for all versions to activate the license) according to an SI forum post. Sega is the reason. Something about licensing issues.

You can buy a physical copy from ebay or from a UK game outlet. Which will send you a DVD with the game on it. And a code to authenticate through steam. Only way to get anything prior to FM19 right now. But it wont be cheap.

Actually looks like some places still sell old steam keys for the older games. I assume old stock. I'm not sure how legit any of these places are. Like this one ($4.89):

ahh ok that makes sense. FM 12 was my first attempt at managing. '14 was my second

For the first time ever, I retired a manager. Using the actual retire option in your profile. 7 years after getting fired from my fourth job, I couldn't get hired anywhere. So I said **** it. Time for a new save.

Player complains about relegation, do my best to sell player, player frustrated that he wasn't able to leave, teammates support him, and not me.

Flashforward, end of the year, his contract expires, now the very same teammates are wondering why I've let him go when he's an important player.

Currently managing Hannover 96, and this has to be the most loyal squad I've ever had in FM. All but two bids that I've received (four total windows) for players has given me a "is not interested in speaking with x club". Or the even better one, "would prefer to say at Hannover, but will entertain offers from x club". I've just been able to pick and choose who I do and don't want to leave, and no one gets upset. Its been great just rejecting offers left and right for my best players.

**** this feels so good after we fell apart at the end of the season to drop from automatic promotion to a playoff spot, then won our playoff semifinal on penalties.

LOOK AT THIS **** BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS LMAO

two straight promotions and we're in the Championship with what is bound to be the smallest budget in the whole competition.

EDIT: I forgot to add that I deserve a nobel prize for believing in this striker for the playoff final

I need help. I started a San Marino Challenge.

                                Ugh.
