PSG has led to my players refunding the fans a few times.

Haven’t beat them in five years in my save [emoji849]

      Regardless of team/competition I believe I'm 1-3-14 against PSG in FM18.

It finally happened after the completion of the 2035 season. After 19 seasons, Manchester United fired Jose Mourinho because of poor league position....they finished third. Manchester City has taken off during Pep Guardiola's second stint with the club and has won three straight Premier League titles.

        Jose's final tally at United...

        Champions League (7) - 19-20, 22, 25-27, 34
        Europa League (1) - 17
        Premier League (7) - 23-26, 28, 30-31

        As well as...
        5 Super Cups
        6 Community Shields
        7 FIFA Club World Cups
        4 EFL Cups
        3 FA Cups

For his career, that marks 15 Domestic titles, 14 Domestic Cups, and 23 other club trophies.

I clicked the use league average option, so National A but Sunday league. I got 77 job interviews on the first day, LOL. The world is my oyster!

Ok, I thought I had this solved but apparently not...

With the "fake name fixes"....it's accurate on one (new) save; Juventus. However, it was previously correct on my (old) Arsenal save--but is now incorrect (i.e. "English Premier Division", "R. Madrid").

What gives? How do I fix and an old and new save? I think it's the "1810" and "1830" folders or something...?

I ended up at AFC Cleveland after simming a year. I forgot how much I didn't miss lower league football after doing 12 season of top flight.

This is the third FM I've bought (13, 16, 18). As I get older, I really see myself transitioning away from gameplay-oriented football games and more towards the management side. But every time I get into the game I end up getting overwhelmed and going back to FIFA or PES. I want that to change this year.

Is there the equivalent of a "Football Manager For Dummies" book or website out there, something that will give someone the pure basics of how to get started? Or maybe just a quick tutorial mode? They just seem to throw you into the thick of things right away.

                    Thanks!

fmscout and sortitoutsi are great websites that have a lot of information. I'm not linking anything specific because there's a ton of threads based on what you're struggling with.

Recently a friend bought FM and learned a lot from streamers on how to handle all of the day-to-day tasks(or defer the day-to-day tasks). I personally still believe in the start at a big club and just mess around and don't worry about getting fired, while feeling free to ask as many questions as you need to here.

So my board is building me a stadium, and they're naming it after this guy?

Like, he was good for me but I would have named it after him. He's also on my coaching staff

Edit: My board tried to build a stadium with money we don't have so we had to sell our Youth facility

Edit 2: Just sold the training facility! I hate this board

Curious— I can’t sign him because he isn’t on the switch database— but has anyone signed Timothy Weah from the PSG reserve squad and tried to develop him in the full game? How does he progress? Just curious because irl he looks like he could be pretty dang good for the US in the future.

He ends up as a good mid-table midifielder for me in most saves, I've never trained him myself though.

I wish I had a way to get him on the database for the switch— I’d love to sign and train him to see if I can really get him up there

Just curious how many leagues you all run? Just got the game and quite undecided on that part.
